Powkiddy is doing what retroid used to do. All of Retroid’s older handhelds look amazing and they are all designed to look retro but lately with their new mini and pocket 5 they just look like soulless phones with buttons slapped on it.
I hate that about these new consoles, they just look like boring slabs, I mean, a majority of them doesn't even have logos on the bottom of the screen anymore!
3:03 I find it a bit humorous the fact that is a concern to you, as I always prefer using a hotkey to get to the menu on RetroArch, even when I have an available menu button, it just feels more natural to me. :P You can change the hotkeys btw, my personal preference is to set it to "↓ + Select". About the sleep function, have you updated the firmware or are you running the stock OS that came with the system?

Haha, yeah I've just always preferred a dedicated button. Interesting that you can change it.
No I always run these challenges with the provided OS
The screen and form factor look great, the sticks are stupid, but the big question is: how are the triggers?
Triggers are as good as any vertical handheld. Sticks are fine for me too
