I just wanna suggest anyone to read the novel version in case for those who don't know that actually this lovely and genuine Chinese BL animation was adapted base on its novel. I'll guarantee you won't regret reading the novel before watching the animation version.

Jie Yao was very good, I liked the idea. The characters aren’t stereotypical, I loved how that one guy was painting on sand, it really was something unusual that I appreciated. So, if you’d like some more than that, you should check out the novel (it’s even better)

I'm sure you get this idea from anime characters who go into a 'badass' killing frenzy for their loved one but the truth is that the people who suffer the most with these people, besides the patient themselves are the patient's families. Growing up with a BPD father and schizophrenic mother, I wouldn't wish a mentally deranged person upon my enemy. And you shouldn't wish for it too.

I love watching people making art with sand, it looks so beautiful! It looks like they recorded someone's hand moving for it, then overlaid the animated part over it. Though, it could just be really good animation. The concept of combining a real recording with an animated work is interesting, if done right. Using animation as the base with real movement as a small part, rather than live action with animations to accent it. (Basically do the opposite of what happened with the live action ATLA movie or something.) Does that make sense to anyone, or is my explanation bad? Anyways, this looks really good and I'm gonna check it out. The MCs look cute, and there is a lot of action and drama.🌸

I use to watch romance (between women and men) anime amv only, but now, after finally trying bl and Yaoi out I’m too addicted. This is one of the first bl amv I’ve watch, I usually read mangas, webcomics, and web novels, now I’ve been trying to find anime. I never imagined I would be watching this, even my younger sister found this before me, but not sure if she watches this (age 10(my sisters age when she told me about it) I started watching at age 13).

Found a manga version. Both characters look VERY different but the art style is amazing. Havent seen the anime but from comments Im guessing they are more straightforward in the manga so there is kissing, though the kisses are "cowered" by light. Really enjoyed their story.
