Watched this anime many times and they are a beautiful couple!! One of my early BL anime watches! A really good story but I felt like the ending was just a bit rushed! Honestly wanted to see more of the characters it was so good! Love the art style as well it's a more fantasy based look with some great action scenes, and excellent watch! SPOILERS AHEAD mmkay so for those who hasn't seen this anime yet, hotsuma had a problematic childhood and because of this he often sets his fire loose (i forgot if it's deliberate or if he simply just loses control over it) and then there's this one time [1:33] where his childhood friend, shusei, finally steps in to save him and to help him hold the fire back, burning himself in the process. ever since then hotsuma blames himself for what happened and shusei hides his scars (as shown in 0:30) so that hotsuma wouldn't be constantly reminded of how far shusei had gone to save him back then, and to save them both from the pain of that memory altogether. so i guess that's why this song fit them perfectly. "this is what you get when you play with fire."

I mean he's past life as a girl seems a lot more complex and interesting but in this one, he is just too good, gentle, direct, etc...So there isn't really this tension between two characters in a couple. I love Yuki really, but compared to Luka...it's like they aren't at the same level so there something less or missing in this couple compared to the others
