Everytime I read this manga or see the anime. I realise that there are those so unlucky that they can’t be happy even when they have someone who loves and accept you exactly as you are. The way Yashiro’s trauma and past interferes in his life is so helpless and Doumeki’s frustration on not being able to love the person he loves so deeply. Aah. Imagine the pain of seeing your happiness right in front of you and not being able to care for it. I wish no one suffers this way. To the author of manga and the animator who worked on the story, Hats off.

I absolutely love this!!! This song is perfect for them - Yashiro pulling back when Doumeki shows affection. Yashiro’s whole coping mechanisms are getting crushed by Doumeki because he wants so bad for Doumeki to hold him and kiss him and love him, but then again his whole life he’s been pushing away his trauma by becoming a masochist - by not having affectionate sex the way he had to endure during his childhood. I hope Yashiro realises he deserves Doumeki mannnnn

It should never to be taken for granted. I believe everybody should be planned paired to be together since a baby boy and girl was just an unborn child.
I was so traumatized when I watched this, but then I watched Banana Fish a few months later and that’s the true definition of trauma. This is so good and somewhat wholesome in comparison. Need to watch it again and eagerly waiting for part 2
saw this movie first yesterday and hands down its one of the best i have seen. the traumas are so real and i have never seen anyone gotten them so correct-at least the ones wsho are in this.. broken childhood often leeds to broken grown ups. the mangaka is a genius. loved this movie..
