@@kitsune_gt50 hours isn’t a lot for a game like this, if he had said 500 or 1000 then yes, definitely shower worthy but 50 hours at 4 hours a day is only 12 days, and if you only get 2 hours a day you’d have it in less than a month

Heres a question...
Okay so cooking pots are OP and definitely must have at any stage of the game. They only take up 12 spots and you can fill them with water AND fill up the 12 spots. Great for cooking, you can boil, and if you ever find a damn gas stove and some gas you can cook anywhere with minimal light. But heres a slight issue with them. They get really hot and they stay hot for a long time. A positive when youre cold, just tuck it in your inventory and its like a heat pack. But when youre already pretty warm they can overheat you. So heres the question. Is there anyway to cool them off faster? I've tried putting water in them but I dont think it helps. I dont like waiting around for the thing to cool off after I cook. I like to get out off there after I cook.
honestly a bigger issue with the pot is when its full of items and water its heavy asf i think the quickest way to let it cool down without getting hot is just to drop it tho
don't think there's any way to actively cool them down. if it's putting me up to red heat it's usually in tandem with hot cooked food in the inventory, so i usually put the food into my bag and carry it in my hands until the food cools off. after that, the pot normally won't overheat you unless maybe you have absolute max insulation.
Maybe dumping the water and filling it back up? I'm not too sure. I haven't played DayZ in a bit, I'm just watching videos like these of it now 😂

You can drink from stagnant water sources if you have Multivitamins and you pop one before drinking. I usually pop one before, and one after to be safe. Never gotten cholera from drinking at a river or trough.

I don't have a problem hearing players wearing helmets, I think you may need a better soundsystem either new speakers, audio decoder or headphones. I have bose 7.2 surround sound seems to work fine

Anything that gets hot can be used as a heat pack. If you heat it up. Not just food. Even worms.
Take painkillers before a fight with other players

I was killed by cooked meat once...
Kinda gave up on DayZ cause I could never find my way around, couldn't figure out crafting. And if I ever got somewhere some toxic player would down me, make fun of me, then leave me to die.
Think of the game as a rogue-like and things get easier. Try spending a life running as far as you can into end-game territory. Loot is wayy better outside of fresh-spawn and you'll become more confident in your survival abilities. If you're a solo player, you must always be cautious of others, even when you don't see anyone. It is safer to assume a sniper is always watching you, which can be stressful, yes.
But it's important to remember, play it like a rogue-like. Don't stress if you die, all loot is acquirable again, and the more you die, the more ways you learn to avoid death.
Also, this game explains nothing to you, so reading up on the wiki can help if you're struggling.
Question, should I just kill no mic players? They tend to be kill on site anyways at least the last 3 times they shot me in the back. I try and be friendly but damn does that get me killed lol
Flash lights in the dark don't make you see easier to see, it's make you an easy target.

If you run in a zig zag pattern.......don't make it a pattern. You wouldn't believe how many snipes are made by timing the zag.

Motorcycle helmet will kill you honestly. I once had an encounter with a survivor while I was looking for my trio in the night. I honestly was terrified when I asked him to take off the helmet. It took him a bit longer than it should of and out of fear I shot him and killed him. Then my friends found me. I was kinda down I didn't want to kill him but I was ngl terrified lol.
That's why I stopped playing this game, I was murdered for not speaking English and not understanding the Eminem-ass speech of the guy.
