I drove the GSI for a while, that is all the car you'll ever need! The technology level is higher then the direct opponents, it i a damn good looking car, and unlike VAG, Insignia really justify the sport in the name. Super direct and nice handling. The only criticism is the quality of the rear view camera, but that is really all I fond bad. I would buy one as far as the prices on the second hand market goes a bit down.
great review . i have the 2019 grand sport auto nav 163 bhp and i looooove it . even thinking of trading it it to get the same car but with even more specs on it like heated seats , windscreen etc but honestly its an awesome car 🙂
You saw correctly - this consumption is almost right - i would say take maybe 1-1,5 L from that if you drive sensibly. But in the city, petrol car, stop/start driving, automatic gearbox - in my mind with that combo anything under 10 is a good result.
I have the 260hp 4x4 with the 8 gear automatic transmission and i need 8-9 l/100 km. The only real downside is the rather simple navigation system. I would recommend a rooted Android or Jailbreak and using a good navigation app
the gearbox/pedals are made from very small cheap plastic screws, owned two of these over past six years, the first suffered a gearbox breakdown, the second suffered from clutch pedal breakdown. the onstar system is only free for a very small time period and really is not worth anything at all. technology wise not only do you still not anything decent as standard, but the overall initial costs involved are still not cheap in comparison to other cars. there really have gone BMW route with the technology everything extremely worth having is an optional extra. the design this time around is not even nice in comparison to the previous models, what made insignia so nice to sit in was the curves swooping wraparound dashboard, which is totally gone now, if you have sat in the older models you will know what i mean there, its just flat now. and that continues outside they have made it appear flatter/lower and longer which in my view doesnt work as well as the old design. third generation and i moved to another car, no more broken plastic gearbox/pedals for me in the next three years !!
underneath the pedals, and under the leather covering of the gearstick there are connnectors that hold them together so to speak these are like screw plastic screw type things, similar to nuts/bolts idea, but made from cheap plastic, and easy to break/snap. The onstar breakdown is not exactly a feature one would hope to require free or not, but the other services according to the brochure are only free for i believe 6mnths
I never had never any issues with quality in my Country Tourer, but design wise i'm with you. It's only straining after effect and with a lack of good proportion. There is a good chance that i go with another brand and pay the money for a harmonic styling and the premium touch.

Great review buddy. What is that 1.5l petrol engine like?
Raffined, quiet, low on fuel, more than adequate/good

How’s it in terms of mpg
Its a hell of a car👍
what about average consumption? There was ca 9.5l for 100km. Is this the reality or was after some sporty drive?
I'm also interested in avg. fuell consumption

+Point Of View how about 2012 volkswagen jetta automathic
Will try to review it :)
+Point Of View thank you. your videos are awesome
Très beau tableau de bord ,mais dommage se derrière affreux ,hélas un hayon .
1.5 turbo auto ffs.. we dont get that in the uk
No auto for the 1.6 turbo which is the only engine with the right amount of bhp and torque for this size of a car. Ridiculous!

The old versions looked like coffing bored to death.. 2017 and newer are on the other hand great mixture of Jaguar/BmwGT/Audi
Buy the old curvy bubble dashboard version if you like. Each to their own but this is much more attractive and modern
