Totally amazed by this version of Cassidy. These musicians were born to paly together. I am really happy Bobby found some new partners in crime :) And happy that he still plays with some of them (we're in 2021)
Dead were the most unselfish band ever. Saw them first time in 1970 in SLC. What a show. The boys in blue (red velvet dinner jackets carrying clubs) tried to stop the show but they couldn't. Dead were just too good and they were afraid of a riot if they stopped the show. Thanks so much for so much great music over so many years.
Jerry is very proud above and Robert Hunter is proud below - ' every time that wheel goes round bound to cover a little more ground ' - Thanks Rob - a great find !
+David John Lutz That's a nice way to put it, man. Keep on keepin' on, brother!
LOVE YOU VOO!!!!
Have you been to any of my concert
This is Beautiful. Way to be BOB and The Nationals, such beautiful music played so nicely Wow
" A tale that never tires of telling itself." -Bob Weir
my family and friends get a good kick out of it, they kicked me out!!
Great show!! Love The National & Bobby... They cover these songs so nicely.
Lovely. Weir's singing is the best it has been since the early 70s. His own songs are brilliant and he does a great job at Jerry's songs too.
Enjoyable show and great re-interpretations of our favorite dead songs - keep it coming Bobby!
This might be the best Post Dead incarnation yet. Well Done, Very Well Done!
Things were becoming a little stale in Further the past year or so.
This Group puts the just the right amount of shimmer and edgieness back into these old gems. FOTD was sublime. The Trumpet in El Paso and Cassidy was as if the songs was written for it. This ensemble seems to have rekindled Bobbie's unique Phrasing ability as well
Two thumbs up !!!
Love to See you tour this line up Bobby!
Could not agree more -- this version of FOTD is just awesome. Love the "new" arrangement!
I agree
Thanks...what a special night. So many great musical moments, but its best appreciated it it's entirety, as an event. Wow.
Phil Lesh quintet
Sounds like shit bob sellun out now?
✌️😎 Ol head .
wholly crap!!! I just scanned through this , it;s awesome !!! LLR with a horn !! WOW , going home to chromecast this , thanks voodoo!
This is so clear and crisp. TRI really comes through. What a line up. Thanks for putting this on RUclips.
Just beautiful and fresh - totally groovin, tight & digging the set list. I think of Jerry (RIP) every day; especially today and August 1st. The Music Never Stops
Voodoonola you are like an angel from music heaven. I thought the Archive was the limit, now you have added full color to an already full cup. Love you
happy YouDay Bob Weir, you are Loved! thx for shining..
I missed this on Saturday; didn't know it was happening. Thanks much for posting. the trumpet playing lead lines is really cool. great recording.
holy shit. this is so good.
Very well done - I love these TRI Studio epic get togethers. Excellent My Brother Esau. Also just saw Dead & Company for first time 06/24/17 @ CitiField (NY mets-Queens)-they were tight and I was impressed ( saw Dead 4/82 - 5/95).
I would like to thank VOODOONOLA2 for taking the time to post all the videos he or she has posted over time. I have enjoyed everyone of them.
Especially the shows I know I attended. It's like a flashback into time, Trying to think what was I doing at that moment?
I know that almost every show just before the drum solo I would get up from where ever I was and talk the guard into letting me sit down by the stage. I never was turned down. It was great watching from there. Thank you V.
Even if I knew nothing of Weir's history, this show is fantastic. Great, great sound.
This is dedicated to Susu. Long may you run Boo.
Long time listener😢
Absolutely wonderful stuff, Most Of The Time at 1.03 is superb
probably my favorite post grateful dead chinacat rider, the amount of times ive listened to this i cant even count
Thanks for posting. That encore singing together was very touching... yes it was from the past but sometimes it is good to visit all the days gone by. I loved it...but it was tinged with a lot of melancholy for me. Thanks for the memories guys. You have earned the right to sing anything you want in any way you want. I am happy you are still truckin in your own way.

by far one of the best post jerry music events
Thx again NOLA
Two great things that go AMAZING together! Bravo.
And here I was just turned onto The National this Tuesday. Had NO idea they'd jammed with Bobby. Thought they were just influenced by the likes of Joy Division and Echo and the Bunnymen. This makes them even cooler.
hay sis seen further do this live 7 15 2012 my legs still hurt it was so cool it was like going home had great summer so far i hope yor well peace&lots of love
I never really liked LLR. I always kinda saw it as the first Bobby Cheese song, but this is really nice. That's the wonderful thing about the Grateful Dead. You can listen to them for decades and then suddenly hear a version of a song, and decide "hey, I like this one now".
Bobby is rockin it!!!!
I am unfamiliar with The National but they seem like fine young men, and they did a most admirable job. I'm quite looking forward to the Day of the Dead tribute album. I woulda like to see them do 'When I Paint My Masterpiece' as Bobby always did that one really well. Saw him and Rob Wasserman do it at a SIVA benefit once and it still stays with me.
Amazing show.
totall awesome.
Dang. What a bittersweet "El Paso." Gorgeous.
this is amazing
sweet, thanks for posting this. Best post-GD stuff yet. Makes Furthur look like amateur hour.
would love to see them tour together!
Groovy if I may use an old espression. I always admired Bob Wiers rythm guitar back in the days with the dead.
Weir
Shahrokh+This song breaks my hurt
So hot! TRI and Head Count & The Nationals
Cassidy sounds so good
Two comments, 1) Bob, You must know what Moses felt like leading his children to the promised land. 2) The only things lacking for the last part, a beach & a firepit. Thanks for posting this session.

Farghin brillant.
As usual.
Go Ace!
Thanks. I want to watch Sam jam with Bobby! At the risk of sounding complainy, I with this was in HD. I won't truly complain. Thanks for the share.

My favourite China Cat Sunflower along with the most versions of the GD
And from 1:45:30 I eventually know where I am. - At "San TRIstudio" with brothers and sisters in mind gathering around "Padre Bob". - The scene has something like "holy".
Love :-) Peace
There is that rare fourth verse. Does anyone have the print out on that?
and oh ya brother esau :-D
NICE
I guess I'll have to look up some of the National's stuff now.
lol if nobody caught that at the end, where bobby goes 'this is what we're gunna do' and somebody goes 'take a step back!"
bob and the nationals on tour summer tour 2013! (-:
Check out the TRI Studios web site it's great.
LOL funny how the times change the face of the beholder
I swear I heard Jerry's voice coming through the music during the encore.
It's like this one fell out the sky ?
Good vibes! I would love to buy this!
Can you find it anywhere? A live Album?
