#1: 0:39 Don't overspend on too much house, car, or entertainment
#2: 1:40 At the start of marriage, live off of one income and save the other.
#3: 2:33 Always buy your cars with cash.
#4: 3:32 Set out a spending plan, not a budget plan, to figure out your monthly discretionary sum.
#5: 4:16 Make one extra monthly mortgage payment each year to pay it off 4-5 years sooner.
#6: 4:58 Never take a job just for the money. Factor in the money, but choose work that is more rewarding than the paycheck.
#7: 5:45 You are never too poor to give.

I really want to urge people, especially those who are young, to live on the one income. Buy a house on the one in one. Being a stay-at-home mom doesn’t just benefit me or the kids. It benefits my marriage in ways I cannot even enumerate, the list is so long. It’s the best choice I ever made.
This life is but w blink. You’ll never regret making a house a home, raising your kids, being fresh and vibrant for your spouse, and doing God’s Will through it all.

I'm 100% into the financial markets and all my trades are being handled by a SEC licensed expert trader Noud Mikan, his ingeniousness and experience are the reasons I'll keep earning consistently from my investments, I'm earning around $14k weekly and that's from binary options and stocks alone. Even while in retirement I've successfully been able to grow a 5figure portfolio, I think the best insurance anyone can do for themselves is to own multiple streams of incomes because they tend to be very burgeoning and supportive, and I'm totally grateful to Noud for a profitable partnership.

I’m a 54 single no kids woman living in Melbourne Australia. Just before I turned 30, I bought a brand new 25k Toyota Corolla for cash that I am still driving that has just clocked over 200,000 kilometres. She is still going....in the same month, I bought an old 100 yo house 4 kilometres from the cbd for $145,000. It was so run down but it was home. Paid it off before I turned 40 and I saved for 8 years 200k to renovate.....I had to borrow 250k to rebuild and extend the house. I am now 73k ahead in my mortgage and have a house worth 1.6 million. I’m a social worker by trade. I plan to down size and retire at 60 all going well. I will also inherit approximately 2 million in cash and property from my parents. I would rather have my darling mum back than the money. Brings security and choices but life is horrible without my mum.

Joshua, I’ve been following your blog and your posts for years. What an amazingly beautiful job you are doing for so many people. I cannot call myself a 100% minimalist, but I am trying to keep my home as clutter free as possible. There is a less fortunate family who takes all my old sweaters, books, houseware and every other week I bring them the stuff I don’t use or no longer use. So many things were given away. Last week I gave them my old suitcase - I bought a new one during my travels. And they were so pleased to have this suitcase because they needed one and could not buy one. The other thing is that I do not own a car. At all. And I am happy without it - no need for a garage, parking, I walk over 10, 000 steps every day. My city is convenient for just walking and there is good public transport. I sometimes wish my city was car free.. but anyway, a lot of things I am doing were influenced by your articles and videos. Thank you and God Bless you. Greetings from your fan in Russia.

My husband and I have been married five years. We're not financial gurus by any means and we make a very modest income (i stay home with the kids.) But we've done every single of these. 🤓 While life can often seem like an uphill battle we are debt free (except for our home which we paid 20% down payment on two years ago), have one reliable vehicle we bought outright (after selling our previous less nice vehicle) and are staying the course.
It's nice to see that these things small changes can lead somewhere really sweet and we're not crazy (because in this world it seems like we're more frequently the minority in our life choices.)

It sounds obvious, but every car will need some amount of maintenance. I try to choose a model that typically requires less than average and then find a used one that's been taken care of. There will always be repairs and maintenance, but a year of those has always totaled far less than a year of car payments for me.

It's always so straightforward, yet not so easy to execute. And seems none of these are taught in our education systems.
    -Don't become house poor
    -Live off of one income
-Cars are a waste of money, pay cash
    -Have a spending plan
(I love the 50/30/20 rule here)
-Make an extra mortgage payment each yr
(Add 1 month payment / 12 to each payment)
-Never take a job solely based on money
    -Always give back
    Thanks for the tips

I’ve been driving an older Honda Accord (that I inherited and paid nothing for) for the past 15 years & just recently got rid of it. Never had a car payment with it, low insurance, no major maintenance issues….that was a steal as far as I’m concerned. And I sold it in the end and made a little $. My next car will likely be used, 1-3 years old. I’ve always felt that buying a new car is *usually* a bad idea.

  • @anaalves3658
    @anaalves3658 3 года назад

That first rule is definitely where most people go wrong. If you have the fancy house, then the car needs to match the status symbol and so do the clothes and the vacations. I know that there are a lot of companies that let you pay for your holiday over 12-24 months with interested, if you can't afford to pay for it upfront don't do it! I also really like the second rule to live on just one income, it is a huge safety net if one of you loses their job. Great advice all round.

    * Just came across your video by accident. You must be really a nice 👍 soul for sharing such solid advice to help others!
This is something that can be used by anyone regardless of who and/or what ever background they come from.
When you do good, you’ll receive good.
By giving to others without any expectations, only seeking the pleasure of your Creator, it’s an expression of gratitude for being blessed in the first place 🥇.
What’s to expect, He the Most Merciful will do?! The more you give, the more you will receive!
    You must have beautiful parents!
If I may make a suggestion, on purchasing a home 🏠, try not to put it all on down payment.
Instead leave it to be placed in principles only after the purchase which will build equity faster and if you need to move, you would have some equity.
Thanks for the upload. I’ll share your video with my friends and family. Wish you the best, take care.
