    For Sevendust, I’d go for Black, Denial or Enemy.

    the song that really made them big was "Praise," off their 3rd album. I love the 3rd album, which came out in 2001 (my junior year of HS) and still think it's their best, even though they have 14 albums out now (including one that just came out this year). I'd suggest anything off that 3rd album, Animosity, but my favorites are "Trust," "TOAB (Tits on a Boar)," and "Shine"

    My guy, I've been listening to 7d for 20+ years and I can tell you with certainty this is not peak Sevendust. If you're willing to put in the time to listen the their evolution over the years you will be rewarded. It's a treasure trove. You can only lead a horse to water though...

      @@matthewjakubowski9020 I'll admit I haven't listened to the last couple albums in full, and never really listened to the stuff they made when Clint left.

    Waffle came from something Sharon Osbourne said to the band something to the extent waffle on!!!! And the band used that for the song.

    Man, that is so sad that you feel they already peaked with their second album. I would possibly say Animosity or Seasons. Still, they've stayed relatively consistent.

    I’m gen Z and this happens to be one of my favorite bands of all time🥱
    And honestly I believe they outgrew Nu-metal for the most part. Just listen to the album they just released.
    And I wouldn’t generalize metal and say it’s all angry. Nu-Metal isn’t like Deathcore, Deathcore isn’t like groove metal and so on.
    I’m still waiting on another sevendust reaction. Let them hear something like dead roses or even something from AISIW. even the most recent.

    Sevendust is not Nu Metal. The have more in common with metalcore than they do with nu metal

    • @nerdingoutwithrickshaw7817
      @nerdingoutwithrickshaw7817  Месяц назад

      @@joshuanewman2477 is this just an opinion? There’s definitely a lot of influences but metalcore is the least associated with sevendust

    • @headabovewater
      @headabovewater Месяц назад

      The only thing that sevendust has related to nu metal is that they came out during that time frame. They even have guitar solos, which are definitely not a nu metal thing

    • @nerdingoutwithrickshaw7817
      @nerdingoutwithrickshaw7817  Месяц назад

      @@headabovewater there first 3 albums were definitely born in the nu metal era and nu metal was definitely what they were considered. Sure, since then they have went a little more heavy rock, but to say they aren’t nu metal at all is ridiculous. Even down to the clothes they wore and the fashion choices they made. Drummer with braids, singer with dreads, baggy jncos (back in the day) Google it and out of 3 genres they are labeled under Nu Metal is always one of them.
