Here is the original intro of Gran turismo 2 Pal Version
I use the original intro quality and upscale it into 4K using AI upscaler and adobe after effect.
It was converted entierly into true 60fps !
The original music was used as well keeping the quality to the maximum.
There will be other video in the future, if there is any request don't hesitate to ask me.

This is a masterpiece. I've started playing this game many years ago, and that intro is one of my favorites, especially the EU version, l enjoy the music. I really appreciate the remaster. One of the benefits of AI.

@@Kev27RS as an American, this intro was a thousand times better than the OG version of My Favorite Game by The Cardigans (The only GT theme to actually get a Suggested by copyright holder snipe. Thanks Universal... f them). But, GT4's North American intro still reigns Supreme, because Eddie Van Halen is MAGIC and Nostalgia is a powerful weapon. However, GT2 does have that Project A spec mod that's a banger to check out.

I do the pal one because there was no proper remaster for it yet. I should be able to do the other variation later but it's not my priority at the moment. It's curious how japanese gran turismo always use the same music on all their intro, while american and europe had different intro and vibe.
For me this hit home on all levels, probably because it reminds me of being three years old and waking up 7am Saturday morning just to play my favourite game literally
When this intro came on I cranked the 7.1 so loud it rattled the windows and woke my parents until they got used to it
I can totally see what you're saying though, after all this game brings us together for a reason - nostalgia but still a brilliant game to this day

I always wonder with these old games if there's an actual development/finished version that they were running on PCs before tuning it for console release. Or maybe it's just CGI with post production.
I'd be really, really grateful if u upload a 4K 60FPS of Shutokou Battle 01 (TXR3) intro, that shit was intense specially the corvette part (though the opponents team names are really weird when translated lol)
