- Here is the original intro of Midnight Club 3 from original XBOX.
The original video had some quality problem, such as intense blur/bloom, i couldn't do a lot about it sadly since the original source is "made this way".
All was upscale into 4K using AI upscaler and adobe after effect.
It was converted entierly into true 60fps !

NO game has ever had the amount og freedom that MC3 gave. Just a remaster of this would literally be the game of the century. Absolute goosebumps.

SAME, it became my fav genre.
Wow really? I don’t remember this game having a strong dnb presence for me it’s just 2005 hip hop and some Detroit techno. Forza horizon 2 on the other hand really introduced me to dnb and how good the genre is.

Holy crap this is magical! I’ve watched the intro a lot in the past decade, and nothing comes close to the detail in this video. I’ve never noticed the cars parked on the left/right side at 0:41 and the background at 0:46. This upscaling technology is truly insane. Thank you so much.
Thanks ! Sadly rockstar when they render the video made it with insane amount of bloom and blur (for give a style/effect i guess ?) which is why the video don't look as sharp as other video i made, but i did what i can for upscalled them :).
@@whitecharisma1460 Yeah, the actual game loves blur/bloom to give like a speedy feel (NFS and Burnout games did the same back then), so it makes sense that the intro has the blur I guess. But it looks soooooo much better either way

@@whitecharisma1460 I'm guessing because the cars aren't even fully rendered themselves for example the yellow murcielago having messed up back bumpers and the evo having no engine

I have a question: So, you know how in Tokyo Xtreme Racer: Drift 2, each course's boss has their own intro scene? Would you consider taking the time to upscale those as well?... The first one, on Hakone, Mr. Mitsu's intro...it always gives me goosebumps, even after all these years. I'd be the happiest person alive if I could see it in high quality. Most of the other boss' intros are fantastic too, but Mr. Mitsu's just stands out for some reason... I love what you've done so far with the series' intros.
It's entierly possible, if i remember i had the raw files of it, but still need to check. It's not my priority at the moment but I guess make a compilation with all the boss scene will be there in a near future :)

I plan to make a video in the future explaining everything, sadly it's require a really powerfull computer if you want to render the frame fast, which is why not lot of people do it

Heyyyy, i was wondering, would you be willing to make more of these for the whole MC3 Remix game of all cutscenes? I have a project I want to do which is making a new mod for the mc3 community that changes all the old cutscenes into the beautiful one like this here you have made! I don't have the time or hardware to upscale all these videos, but I do know how to convert this back into a .pss format for the iso disk. I want to try and figure out how to do this. If you would be interested please let me know sometime!

There is lot of stuff wrong on the original rendering from rockstar, feel like they hided the mess since i guess it was rendered straight from the 3D software or their own engine.
