@@jhpfdijtuiweruot you can have a thoughtful well measured answer when asked about a rival team. He goes out of his way to big up Liverpool and shite on united. It's just pathetic from a professional pundit and comes across really childish
Man United at their peak signed just above average players among superstars and those average players stepped up to another level. That was because of club culture and leadership. Don't tell me Teddy Sheringham, Roniie Johnson, Dwight Yorke , Oliie GS and so many others were world class, but they delivered and became great.
Souness is bang on in most Man United supporters eyes! How long have you been watching football? Myself I've been watching Div 1 and the Premier League since 1976 when i was 9 yrs old. Souness is a well respected pundit on any team, a brilliant former hard nut player that denied United alot in the 80's.
It's hilarious how Sourness said united should have kept Ronaldo because he was a "top professional". He refused to come on as a substitute and stormed off down the tunnel. He was on £600k-£700k a week. What's professional about that? Can't argue with his achievements and how he's looked after himself but you're well paid to do something, do it.
I agree with what Souness said about Pogba. My issue with it is that he gives Bruno the benefit of the doubt but not Pogba. If Bruno played for City or Liverpool, we would see a totally different player. The same can be said for Pogba. We saw him at Juve, and he was a totally different player.
Mr Souness knows what it takes to make a winning team. Pogba, for me, didn't take enough initiative, and if he's unwilling to do that the talent never gets applied. Rashford would have been a sub on the bench in the 1999 side. Again it's mentality with Rashford. Martial? Huge mentality problem! Man Utd under Ole were killing it until Ronaldo joined. It upset the balance of the side because others had to do his pressing work. And Ronaldo realised the low quality of the players around him and it annoyed him.
Souness is spot on... he was a great player.... Pogba tells himself he is a great player... however Pogba cannot do the basics well .. Run .... find space ... tackle.... all the things required when your teams not playing well and need to stay in the game... lucky for him he had the outstanding Kante to do this for him in the French National team... Pogba loses the ball cheaply in the wrong areas and puts his backs under immediate preasure... He saps energy and enthusiasm from all his fellow team mates. The worst thing is we could all see this before he signed... as with Sancho Martial plus 60 million on a chelsea flop who at the time couldnt even get on the first 11...and the other prima Donna's.... so why did we sign them. Give our youngsters a chance instead of wasting all that money... We could have at least tried Ronaldo mixed with the younger generation to see if we could move forward. What Utd have now is woefully inadequate and theyre not a team.
these 2 guys are amazing : @simon Jordan - used to really dislike him - but he does talk sense @graeme Souness - what a unbelievable man - listen to him all day : WAWAW -
Today Simon said he’s not sure about the new CEO from City not sure what he will bring to United and is no different to Ed Woodward… after last week saying United should go for best in class Make your mind up Si
Did Salah try and run off with Simon's missus at some point? He has a real problem with him and throws out this "diving" thing which can't be thrown at him for about 3 seasons.
I know, Simon's like a stuck record half the time. He's too ignorant to understand that actually Salah never even used to go down but he'd get kicked a lot and if you don't go down, then the ref won't give a foul in most cases. This forces players to go down and then it looks unnatural. This is all Salah did anyway, it's not that he was a 'diver' per se, he just learned that he had to go down when fouled or he wouldn't get anything. Most footballers do the same thing. This hasn't even been a talking point about Salah for around 3 seasons anyway, like you say, but Simon gets an opinion in his head and then sticks with it forever, seemingly.
Everything u say about pogba u can say about rashford x10, He’s the glazers biggest asset ( assets reduce interest payments and have to play to remain at the set price). He knows it , lord rashford needs selling now
At France, Pogba had Matuidi & Kante. At Juventus he had Pirlo, Marchisio, Vidal(in his prime, not the old Barca one). At United he had... Mctominay & Fred 😂
Great players are able to develop and evolve their game so that they are not easy to figure out. Rashford has not done that, which makes him average at best.
Rashford had a good half season where he proved himself after the World Cup in which he had limited play time. However, he has not shown much consistency in terms of assists or goals, which is important for a wide or inside forward. As a United fan, I believe they should have taken the money from PSG and used it to sign much-needed players. I respect Rashford's charity work, but it may have been a distraction for him.
I’ve never seen or heard Paul pogba going around saying oh I’m a World Cup winner this and that he’s just making things up he might of had 5 English top flight winners medals but he’s acting like he’s zizou knowing everything

sounes named salahs clubs correctly, hoilands goals, eriksens interview and simon just said ronaldo played for inter milan. one is a student of the game and the other is just making a living from it.
Simon's glasses remind me of the Knight Riders car Kitt😅😅
If you had a podcast of Souness critical of anything liverpool it wouldnt be a minute 😄😄😄
I luv listening to sports by souness
Can’t wait for the next one.
After the Katt Williams interview it would seem that everyone is revealing ALL lol.
When i see people say Bruno irritates them it makes me laugh, he does exactly what other players do
There isn't one player on my team who acts like Bruno (thankfully)
hey Simon....Ronaldo didnt play for Inter Milan.....that poor from somebody who thinks he knows the lot
The Ronaldo did
He was on about Cristiano
@@lesbaxter7652 oh cr7 not Ronaldo then , don’t ever refer to cr7 as Ronaldo there is only one Ronaldo
@@lesbaxter7652 Simon's football knowledge is poor. A few months back he kept referring to the Barca manager Xavi as "Alonso". He doesn't even know the difference between Xabi Alonso and Xavi! He did this a few times but someone must have corrected him in the end as he's stopped saying it now.
Is Simon Jordan trying to look like a Wallace and Gromit character?
He only won the world cup because the rest of the French team were excellent and N'glo Kante covered his lack of work. As we all knew Kante was worth two players.
So with that being said. United didn’t have a great team around him to flourish?
One player can’t carry a TEAM! Hypocrites.
@@Permethrin08 One player can't carry a team? Well done for telling the world that you weren't alive when Maradona played
Maradona couldn’t play in this era. So there’s that.
@@jhpfdijtuiweruotthanks for proving my point.

As a United fan, I respect Souness a great deal, great player-tough as nails and says it as he sees it. He is well within his rights to not like us and be biased. You have to go past that.
The guy is a biased clown and it seaps though every time he speaks
@@hestereeen164 Oh dear, someone's upset. Dry your eyes, princess.
@@hestereeen164 All opinions are biased. He was the captain of LFC and arguably the most successful British captain in world football history. Why on earth would you expect him not to have a bias against Man Utd or for LFC? Lol. What an embarrassing thing to be CRYING about in public
@@jhpfdijtuiweruot you can have a thoughtful well measured answer when asked about a rival team. He goes out of his way to big up Liverpool and shite on united. It's just pathetic from a professional pundit and comes across really childish
@@FractalchemysticalNice one
Man United at their peak signed just above average players among superstars and those average players stepped up to another level. That was because of club culture and leadership. Don't tell me Teddy Sheringham, Roniie Johnson, Dwight Yorke , Oliie GS and so many others were world class, but they delivered and became great.
Graeme is right - Souness and Simon scans so much better.
I’m downvoting the lighting, it makes Souness look 43
How bitter are you
I am a United fan of 50 years, and I made Graeme correct on the issues discussed here.
Que?
Sourness commenting on Man Utd is as accurate as me commenting me on the hadron collider.
Pogba hasn't done anything decent for about 10 years.
Bruno has performed to a high level, i loved pogba but after winning the europa/world cup, not the same player
What has Bruno won?
@@taduuuma But he won all those titles
@@Fractalchemystical and Bruno has done what
Mr Souness knows what it takes to make a winning team.
Does Simon have LED lights on his frames?
Souness is spot on... he was a great player.... Pogba tells himself he is a great player... however Pogba cannot do the basics well
.. Run .... find space ... tackle.... all the things required when your teams not playing well and need to stay in the game... lucky for him he had the outstanding Kante to do this for him in the French National team...
Funny I remember Simon saying last week that united get talked about too much 😂
Whenever I hear Sour-ness talk about Pogba, I get a "You should be grateful you were brought from the field into the house" vibe.
give him a truth pill, youd hear far worse. I suspect white retired greats despise most black players today. Due to "the work ethic".
Every show is a United special.
these 2 guys are amazing : @simon Jordan - used to really dislike him - but he does talk sense
@graeme Souness - what a unbelievable man - listen to him all day :
WAWAW -
Graeme ‘i’ll go back to it’ Souness
Round and round the mulberry bush! You could also be talking about Anthony Martial (except for the latent ability).
The media love Man United …❤
Souness And Simon
The farmer from shaun the sheep"ehhh uh eh"
Pogba was like the boxer Riddick Bowe
“I played the game”
WE WERE MASSIVE.........!!!
If pogba had the work ethic of Bruno he would of been world class for a lot longer
Man Utd special 🔥🔥🔥
Pogba needed a world class "mopper" next to him, such as Kanté or a Rice perhaps, so that he could then shine forward.
Pirlo and Vidal made him look like a superstar. Pogba was phenomenal at Juventus but in retrospect…
@@MammaZizouTeamwork, right? No one is an island.
No great player "needs" another great player next to them to help make them look good. Great players lift the team up by themselves.
Today Simon said he’s not sure about the new CEO from City not sure what he will bring to United and is no different to Ed Woodward… after last week saying United should go for best in class
Make your mind up Si
Ed Woodwood got Ronaldo in for 1 reason … SHIRT SALES.
Good podcast this one
That's a nice choice of words😂
Great show
Did Salah try and run off with Simon's missus at some point?
Hojland will be a great striker if he gets the players around him to give him the service
“Our Football” 90% foreign players cheers for the insight Graham
Everything u say about pogba u can say about rashford x10, He’s the glazers biggest asset ( assets reduce interest payments and have to play to remain at the set price). He knows it , lord rashford needs selling now
At France, Pogba had Matuidi & Kante. At Juventus he had Pirlo, Marchisio, Vidal(in his prime, not the old Barca one).
At United he had... Mctominay & Fred 😂
If Souness played today he'd be 300 million ,pure class as a player and the best talker of the game around .
True. Pogba is the original De Bruyne
Hindsight is a wonderful thing…..
Why do you respect Rashford's charity work? You're being played.
Good show. 👍
I’ve never seen or heard Paul pogba going around saying oh I’m a World Cup winner this and that he’s just making things up he might of had 5 English top flight winners medals but he’s acting like he’s zizou knowing everything
