  • In this video, I install an OER Rear Spoiler on a 1968 Camaro. The Spoiler did not come with a pattern or template, so I had to create my own to make sure that the mounting holes that needed to be drilled, would be in the correct location.
    This is one of many videos to come on my 1968 Camaro named, The Mistress. This video along with a few more will be published close together as these are a few upgrades that I am making to this car in preparation to my son and his bride, driving away from their wedding.

    I just bought a spoiler for my '67 Camaro and I was wondering how to install it. Your video showed me the right way. Thanks from Brazil.

      Glad you found it useful. I think that the rear spoiler is the greatest visual improvement that you can make. Mike

      You know it feels good. I have also taken the tub off the frame and am working on getting the axles removed on Rowdy. Still trying to work on that one as well. Should be more focused on it soon.

    Always love your video’s! Very greatly appreciate them 🙏🏻 Aero Kroil! Best stuff out there! It’s not cheap but, my 2nd cousin told me they use they stuff out west on the railroads.

      Thank you Kerry. Yea, I really like the Aero Kroil. It does a great job of penetrating because it is so thin. It is pricey, but that can has lasted me 4 years and I believe it has another 20 in it. Appreciate you Sir!!! Mike

    That is a great idea with the washers. I wish I had seen this video before I did my spoiler. I butchered up the holes a lot.

      Was very pleased that it worked as I had hoped. Love the result. Cheers!

      Like a true Mistress, this one is costing me an arm and leg.

      @@UCanDoIt2Mike well a true mistress might cost you another body part, too! Better stick to this kind of mistress.

    Are you going to put o rings on the studs between the spoiler and the body?

    • @UCanDoIt2Mike
      @UCanDoIt2Mike  2 года назад +1

      I didn't but that is a great idea. Even now, it is not riven in the rain, but I do like the idea. Thanks!

      @@UCanDoIt2Mike i have a 1990 mazda rx7 that had a factory spoiler and it rusted the holes out. Im just gonna weld over mine primer and paint.

      @UCanDoIt2Mike  2 года назад

      @@goodkill1 I did dab some primer on the holes, but an o-ring or gasket of some sort is brilliant. Thanks!

    What happened to project rowdy?

    • @UCanDoIt2Mike
      @UCanDoIt2Mike  2 года назад +1

      I am still working on Rowdy. I needed to pump out a few updates to my Camaro so that my son could drive away from his wedding in it. I'm going to push out a couple more Camaro videos and then will have a Rowdy update. Just removed the Tub and working on getting the Axels off to complete the dismantle. Thanks for watching and following Project Rowdy. Cheers to you! Mike
