I can't stop watching these vids. When I was a kid we had a neighbour that was an Italian family. The smells that filled that house was unreal. Their grandma made enough food to feed an army and we could always just walk in and she would feed us. I'm getting nostalgic. I remember going into the basement and there were huge tables with pasta drying on them. So good.
Oh I whole heartedly agree. My fiancee passed away from breast cancer. She and her family were first and second generation immigrants from Sicily. She brings back wonderful memories of the love and food. I love these videos because her recipes are really good too! I've tried some of them and they're really good.
I love seeing this beautiful woman passing her recipes to the younger generations. Even more special is the support of her family filming, helping and narrating this video! What a wonderful family!!! It is now 2018 as I watch this and I’ve grown to love Grandma Gina. Her legacy continues....
My husband picked this one today for me to visit Gina. He says I am always in a good mood when I watch you and he comes home to a Italian meal that I learned today. God bless you and thank you for being in my life
Watching today with my grandmother (96 years old) she says "she's doing it right"!!! Looks delicious, we are all fortunate to be Italian Americans and loved!
Gina, I did it! I made these. It's the BEST ravioli I've EVER had! You are a treasure Gina, and an inspiration to me. These ravioli will now be a new holiday tradition. I made them this time for my husband's birthday dinner. So amazing. They came out fantastic. Thank you again! I love you! XoXo
Jennifer Shen boy ain't that the truth Jennifer. I would have loved to have filmed my Italian grandmother and also my Ukrainian grandmother. These people are going to have wonderful memories
I’m adopting your grandma, she reminds me of my mother & grandmothers who have been deceased for many years. I miss times in the kitchen and wish I had paid more attention. I am now learning all over again with you (our) grandma. Please make more videos........ thank you grandma
Grandma Gina - I LOVE YOU!!! Tonight I made with my 20-year old son, home from college, the cheese ravioli. We can't thank you enough. We have made them a couple times before, but this time we used many of your tips and tricks and they were phenomenal! Not only were they delicious, but we created some wonderful memories working together and cranking out the dough. Thank you for sharing! You are a gem to be treasured. I only wish we had thought to make video's of my grandmother, she has been gone many years, but I try to keep our traditions alive through food. Love watching you work in the kitchen, such a pleasure to see such a strong woman who loves her family so much! xoxoxo
Hello Nonna! Our US Marine Corps troop loved watching you in our last deployment to Afghanistan, we are home safe now, for a while. My wife and I are attempting to make your ravioli and gravy tomorrow for Sunday dinner after Mass. I hope you can show us how to make your canned tomatoes. Is it Roma tomatoes skinned and cooked down with a stick of basil? Your videos have been such a blessing. It's so relaxing and teaches us your skills. Sometimes I put it on to fall asleep sleep to (I have PTSD). Thank you! Wish I could come give you a big hug and kiss, Nonna. God bless you! Peace be with you! Xoxoxoxo.
Thank you for watching, and may God watch over you and keep you safe. I will keep you all in my prayers. Keep watching, I plan to show you how to make my jarred tomatoes later this summer
Hey, James-- thank you so very much for your service, sir. I have a few friends who came back with PTSD and got help with therapy. I hope your road is smooth and straight. If you're interested in handmade pasta and authentic cuisine from the various regions of Italy and you need an outlet channel then let me know. I have created a lot of handmade pastas over the past couple of decades and mill my own flours, etc, so if you want to communicate on the subject feel free to contact me off-thread. I don't know RUclips's policies on posting email addresses in comments, but I'm really easy to find.
Wow, what a kind thing to say. I was just doing my job and think it comes with the territory. Hopefully the worst days are behind me. What works the best for me is to do the opposite of what VA therapists have said, and find things to pre-occupy my mind. I never thought I'd get into cooking, but it's been really enjoyable. I've found you on Google and will be in contact. Blessings to you!
James W. Smith ... to you and your buddies, and to all servicemen and women, active or retired; to those who came home, and those who live only in our memories: Thank you for your service and sacrifice; we are eternally grateful, and forever in your debt. Welcome home, and God bless
My wife is a fantastic Italian cook but we have watched all of your videos so far and love your mom. We spend a lot of time in Montemiletto, Italy and the style there is very similar to your moms. She is a jem and i hope you cherish her as you should. My wife is making your pepper biscuits today from your video.
Loved the video. My great grandma came from Italy when she was 19. Married and raised 3 girls. She lived to 107 and died in 1989.i never got to cook with her. Brought great joy watching this video. My Gramma Sarica spoke broken English, so I really picked up on everything she was saying. My grandma who was all Italian too lived to be 92, but she liked taking shortcuts later in life. What I wouldn't give to learn from them. I am so excited I can learn with your Grandma!!
Thank you so much for sharing your amazing grandmother with us. My grandmothers are in too poor of health to cook, and my great-grandmother has been gone 13 years now, and unfortunately i was too young and immature to care to learn from them when they were still able to teach me. I value being able to pass along these family traditions, thank you for sharing yours.
O my goodness. I've came across her videos and started watching. I love to watch her in the kitchen and learn how people from Italy cook. She has the sweetest accent. I love watching her. You are blessed to have such an adorable grandma. I just love her!🥰
She is so sweet. I enjoyed her so much. Loved it when she said "You listen." That was a gift of love. Kneading that dough is hard on your hands. wrist and shoulders. I know because I use to bake. God bless you Nonna.
Absolutely fantastic lady..Made me smile for the whole video..The TLC that went into making this was so natural and genuine...Thank you for sharing this wonderful grandmother with us all.
I love watching your Grandma cooking, she's a real sweetheart!! You are very fortunate to have these videos of her cooking! Keep them coming & I'll keep watching & saving them on my Pinterest. God Bless Your Heart Grandma :-)
God bless her. She's great, reminds me of my nonna. This is great you guys recording all this I wish I would have done this with my nonna I can't stop watching her this is best thing ever God bless here and your family
This is the first and only RUclips channel that I have ever subscribed to. How lucky we all that you share your cooking skills with us. This shows the true value of RUclips and the internet in general.
I have been making pasta for years with less than perfect results...i see now what i have been doing wrong! Thank you Nonna Gina! I love your videos and the generations of skill that you share with us!
Your Grandma is so awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just found this channel and love it. I've watched all your videos..... please make more! And tell your Grandma she is AWESOME!!!!
Gina your amazing.. that’s a lot of work and you make it look so easy because you enjoy what you do with love. You are Blessed with a wonderful son in law. I must say you have become a RUclips star. I enjoy watching you. 🤗😃🇨🇦
Robin Cassidy RN agree!! I am so amazed with what’s she is saying and gestures - I came looking for help before attempting my first try at pasta from scratch and I literally will need to rewatch for the actual recipe comments lol. This really is you tube gold. ❤️❤️❤️
Grandma....I love you...you remind me of my Grandma when we used to make bread. I already tried your bread recipe. Loved it because it made so many. Now I’m watching ravioli video. I’m making these for Christmas. Thank you so much for sharing all of these with us. You’ve made all of us very happy and grateful💕
I just made these yesterday, and even though I dolnt have a pasta roller, they turned out lovely. I'm so thankful for Gina and her cooking! Now I can bring a small part of Italy back into my home.
Sorry I'll have to watch the video again as I couldn’t concentrate on what she was doing. I don’t have an ounce of Italian blood in my body, but at one time I too had an amazing grandmother and her husband, my grandfather was the only hero I’ve ever had. My grandma was born in the English Midlands in 1900, a time when country living was make and make do. She was by far the best cook I’ve ever known, and I was a chef for over 25 years with massive Italian influences including my greatest mentor. To this day I have great memories of my grandma chasing my grandad out of the kitchen, a man she totally adored and spent over twenty years missing. I read the description for the video and right down to the church you could have been talking about my grandmother. I bought her an electric mixer once, she never took it out of the box, but nor would she part with it as one of her grandchildren bought it her. It seems trite to say thank you for this very special gift, I hope your mother/grandmother is in good health. Thank you, very much indeed.
Hi Mark, i loved your little message to Gina, my granny was born in 1901, in oxford, she spent a childhood on her dads small holding with her 8 brothers and sisters , many of whom she lost during the wars, she moved into service at the age of 13, , she met my grandad and married and had her 1st of 3 boys in 1933, she then moved up to Yorkshire, old for her times huh, anyway we never had anything growing up, and what we had we relished, she taught me the basics and i remembering asking her how long this or that to cook, she cooked with anything she could find, from pigeons she shot at with a catapult and rabbits to nettles she stewed lol she died in 1984 and i married in 1985 aged 18, i miss her dreadfully, but like you, i thought she was the best cook in the world, ive learnt so much from the little time i had with her , and now my family refuse to eat out because apparently i do it so much better lol god bless you
Watching from Handsworth Wood Birmingham UK, am of afro caribbean decent but this type of love was no colour. i feel it, i know it it is so familiar reminds me of my mother. Bravo!
I wrote down your grandma's recipe and made the pasta dough and filling tonight. I shaped the pasta into tortellini for a quick tortellini en brodo for dinner and it was the best I have ever tasted. The pasta was so silky and delicate and the filling was sublime. Tomorrow I am going to make her ravioli. Thank you so much for posting this video and give your grandma a big hug and kiss from me!
Thank you so much for your videos. I love watching you make Italian meals from scratch. My best friend is Italian. Her mother arrived at a young age from Sicily. When we were young girls, we would go to her grandmother's house and watch her cook. She made her own pasta, sausage, and cheese. We would go in the basement and see all the hanging meats or pasta drying. Her grandmother spoke very little English so there was not much conversation, but I loved to watch what she was doing. You remind me of her. Again thank you.
I love watching Nonna's videos. My Mom moved from Italy in 1966 with four kids in tow, so I love hearing Nonna's stories. I have made some of the recipes and they are delicious. Mostly I watch for entertainment, and to pick up pointers. God Bless Gina and her family.
What a great personality and disposition. She reminds me of my own Grandmom. Working her heart into every step of the process. Cuts no corners, wants it to be perfect. A true labor of love.
This is just priceless. thank you! I just happened to stumble upon this video and now my heart is full! as another commenter said , it is so important to capture these moments and preserve these precious parts of culture. Again, thank you !
Your Grandma is awesome , she reminds me of my Grandma . They are both AWESOME , I thank you for all your videos , they bring back good memory's . I thank you very much .
Oh my goodness, this is the best video I've seen in a long time. I can watch her cook all day long! What a lucky family you have. I am most definitely going to make these ravioli for my family today.
I started searching for roasted cauliflower and I ended up with your Italian grandmother videos! 😁, I don't know how I stumble upon these things. But I was sure happy that RUclips decided for me as I also had a Nonni and Nonno. I sat and watched about four of your videos in a row because the memories just were unbelievable watching your grandmother and reminding me of mine. We didn't have the luxury of video cameras back then so we have lost out and so glad that you have brought some of that back to us. These are going to be treasured family videos for you and your grandchildren. I noticed in the manicotti video that you started adding the ingredients on the screen and printed the recipe at the end of the video. Since you are retired haha (and you sound very young to be retired), have you thought about going back to the other videos and doing the same thing? And why are you so silent in the manicotti video? I actually kind of liked listening to your interaction with her. Reminds me more of a family video instead of something super professional and dry.
I just recently discovered this beautiful soul. Italian Grandma makes me happy just watching her. I and my 75 years young father have really enjoyed watching her but we both want to know where did she get her large boards that she kneads the dough on? I think my Dad and I are just a tad bit jealous of her boards! Please thank her for sharing her recipes as well as a little part of her life.
I love food. This is a great demonstration of how we used to be connected to our food, our family and our culture. As she points out, "we didn't go to the store to buy pasta". Seems fitting that during a time when homogeneity threatens our uniqueness, this vignette shines through. Thank you.
What a fortunate family to have this beautiful woman cooking for them with love! How blessed you all are. Gina, I love your videos and your work ethic. You truly show how being a woman can be so fulfilling! Thank you for your channel & thank you to your family who were aware that the world needed a glimpse of the old-school Italian ways. Brava!
beautiful!! god bless her and all that energy.i miss my grandma every day and all the wonderful things she used to make.havent had homemade ravioli manicotti cavatelli as good as my grandma made in years!!
My granny is full German and she loves to cook like you. But she hasn't cook as much cause she has just got diagnosed with skin cancer. Thanks for your videos reminding me of the fun times we had cooking together. I pray there will be more cooking together in the future.🙂🙂❤❤
I can't thank you enough for sharing this wonderful woman with us ! She brings us back to what is REALLY important in this life ... love of family and the tremendous joy of feeding them ! Feeding our family should not be just a chore , but an act of love !
Love watching her cook and make her recipes. I just made some minestrone soup yesterday. Had to use dryed pinto instead of white beans, but followed her recipe and my grand kids loved it. Gina, your awesome. ❤️
This is the perfect RUclips video. Don't change anything on the production end. Keep the slow relaxing pace. These Grandma Gina videos are the antidote to all the modern neuroses. I'll pray for those who thumbed down.
I'm left with a huge smile and a warm heart! What a lovely grandma!! Incredible to see the process from start to finish too! Thank you! I was actually eating raviolis when I watched this as I was curious how they were made! Maybe I'll venture into trying it myself in the future! :) Thank you for taking the time to share! Grandma is a gem!
Unfortunately I never had a Grandma but if I could it would be Mama Gina. Thank you for all your videos they bring me peace during this time of uncertainty. God Bless you and your family! 🙏❤
Thank you for sharing this! I've tried to make ravioli before but it never came out quite right. With Gina's instructions my ravioli today was amazing! Can't wait to try more of her recipes.
Hi gina thank you so much for what you do for your grandchildren. I am a daughter of italians i also make my own pasta every time i watch your videos i think of my mother, you sound so much like her. i lost her 11 years ago, so you can imagine what you do for my heart. They came from a small town called san marco in lamis Foggia. We are in australia and i love watching your youtube once again thank you. ciao
Thank you so much for sharing this gift! With the exception of the little ravioli cutter, this is EXACTLY the way we made ravioli with my Nanna. We spent all summer making ravi's, gnocchi , and tortellini to put in the freezer for the holidays. A lot of work, but cherished memories! I don't know what happened to her wooden board, but I have the 'ravioli table' and her treasured chef knife of hammered steel. Grazie!
I love your video's, they're very inspiring and well done; making it easy for even a beginner. I plan on making this with my 5 year old grandson and 8 year old granddaughter. I'm going to have them play hookie from school when I have them with me while their mother is on vacation. Going to be great memories with them! Thank you, keep the video's coming, Italian Grandma is so adorable!!
Thank you so much for these vidoes! She is absolutely wonderful and adorable, and I am learning so much from her!! Watching her cook is a pleasure, and every recipe i’ve tried has been delicious!! And her accent is so cute 🥰 🥰 God bless her and give her health and strength ❤️❤️❤️
Nonna ends in an a, so that's female; Nonno ends in an o, so it's male: Grandpa. And salmi is an actual food, a stew of wild meat and a lovely rich sauce. You don't need to be correcting people--it's rude and shows what you yourself don't know.
Your grandma seems so sweet and her kitchen is so warm and inviting! Thank you for sharing her and her recipes with us. Grandparents are such treasures! I made ravioli tonight for the first time and it was better than store bought.
This video was bittersweet to watch. Brought back memories when I was a small boy watching and helping my grandmother (who has long passed away) make ravioli on the dining room table. I still have her big rolling pin. Great memories. Thank you for letting me relive them. Cherish yours.
I would buy her a food processor and show her how to use it for her next birthday. When I showed my mom she was amazed that the results were as good if not better and it only took 2 minutes to make a batch of dough with no elbow grease. Saved her a lot of work! In her 80's she was very grateful that that machine she was able to do what she loved doing for her family.
Oh no!! You would be taking away all that she savors and loves about preparing food for the people she loves. It’s all in the tactile “old school” techniques that make it a labor of love for her! I know because I am 70+ years old and some things are best just left alone. I have a food processor that I often use but when I make pasta I use my hands and a hand cranked pasta maker. It’s my meditation...
I1 have a strong feeling that the food processor would stay in its box. The food is prepared with love. She completely enjoys what she is doing. It makes her happy. There is nothing more this woman wants other than to show her family how much she loves them by doing what she loves to do the most - cooking. Because cooking does not feed just the body - it feeds the heart and soul - of both the cook and the people for whom she labors.
She doesn't use a recipe. She works in the amt of flour, and kneads the dough by feel until it is done. Flour can absorb moisture, so a machine & recipe can't adjust for this variable. Experienced judgement by tactile sensation.
I absolutely love this! Thank you so much for showing me how to make raviolis the authentic way. I am Italian and my grandma does not cook but all her sons cook and have restaurants. I’ve always wanted to know how to do this. I can’t wait to keep watching. You’re amazing and God bless you and your family.
Such an adorable Grandma. We have made the pasta that she has shown ans it turned out fabulous. Her skill is a treasure to all her generations. A lady was so rude to comment "OMG, whatever' at minutes 21.00 ish. that is such an idiot saying that. Hope she is not a family and just a bored spectator, and yet have no rights to disrespect Grandma.
She is a funny ,contented, beautiful person in and out. She has become my favourite.I love this lady I am getting addicted to watching her videos. Her family is so blessed to have her.
I can't wait for your next video ! My husband says she is like watching his own grandma (60 years ago) making homemade pasta. Your 9 ? grandchildren are very lucky indeed.
I think, there's no grandma in the world, who can't cook like some young goddess. Unfortunately in my family the "old generation" took all the knowledge of the recipes into their graves with them. You will probably recognize maybe in 20 years, that these videos are pure gold.
Kosekans my grandmother couldn’t cook at all. Like, gave the family food poisoning multiple times, my Mom burned water so badly the fire department was called twice... my brother and I joke we learned to cook in self defense!
This video compared to the recent videos is absolute proof of the strength and resilience of some of the greatest generation. You are a treasure! I'm thankful that you share your heart with us.
I've been watching a couple of videos and honestly, this world needs more Italian grandmothers.
Maltese have many of the same cuisine. My neighbours are Italians, and always asking me what that beautiful smell is , coming from my kitchen :D
I had one! Watching Gina brings me right back to my childhood.
My grandma was italian ❤❤I love your videos god bless you always ❤❤
The best part of life is when you become one. ❤️❤️❤️
I can't stop watching these vids. When I was a kid we had a neighbour that was an Italian family. The smells that filled that house was unreal. Their grandma made enough food to feed an army and we could always just walk in and she would feed us. I'm getting nostalgic.

I bet my grandmas house smelled just like hers
I am so happy the world has a video record of this wonderful woman and her fantastic skill. Every bite is filled with love!

Hi Mark, i loved your little message to Gina, my granny was born in 1901, in oxford, she spent a childhood on her dads small holding with her 8 brothers and sisters , many of whom she lost during the wars, she moved into service at the age of 13, , she met my grandad and married and had her 1st of 3 boys in 1933, she then moved up to Yorkshire, old for her times huh, anyway we never had anything growing up, and what we had we relished, she taught me the basics and i remembering asking her how long this or that to cook, she cooked with anything she could find, from pigeons she shot at with a catapult and rabbits to nettles she stewed lol she died in 1984 and i married in 1985 aged 18, i miss her dreadfully, but like you, i thought she was the best cook in the world, ive learnt so much from the little time i had with her , and now my family refuse to eat out because apparently i do it so much better lol
god bless you
Bless you!
Wonderful!!! Bravo!
Watching from Handsworth Wood Birmingham UK, am of afro caribbean decent but this type of love was no colour. i feel it, i know it it is so familiar reminds me of my mother. Bravo!
Valeshia Matthews, you are so right -- she touches all of our hearts with the love she shows by cooking.
Thank you so much for posting this video and give your grandma a big hug and kiss from me!
where did you find the recipe?
beezy0 n
What flour did you use? AP, semolina or 00?
@@jaymartin85 I used AP. I followed her recipe exactly. :)
How many cups flour in the ravioli dough recipe please
Thank you so much for your videos. I love watching you make Italian meals from scratch. My best friend is Italian. Her mother arrived at a young age from Sicily. When we were young girls, we would go to her grandmother's house and watch her cook. She made her own pasta, sausage, and cheese. We would go in the basement and see all the hanging meats or pasta drying. Her grandmother spoke very little English so there was not much conversation, but I loved to watch what she was doing. You remind me of her. Again thank you.
This is a fine record of culinary history! Thank you to Gina and her son in law for being kind enough to let us see all this.
Thank you for sharing Gina and the true Italian way how to make ravioli. I really enjoy watching and listening to her talk too. What a gem!
I love this lady her videos are very easy to understand and she has some major skills
I love watching Nonna's videos. My Mom moved from Italy in 1966 with four kids in tow, so I love hearing Nonna's stories. I have made some of the recipes and they are delicious. Mostly I watch for entertainment, and to pick up pointers. God Bless Gina and her family.
I don't know why I kinda tear up watching this. She is so precious, I wish her amazing life and good health!
What a great personality and disposition. She reminds me of my own Grandmom. Working her heart into every step of the process. Cuts no corners, wants it to be perfect. A true labor of love.
Watching your Nona cook is so relaxing, thank you for documenting this amazing woman.
Candide Thirtythree Yes I totally agree relaxing and comforting.
Beautiful beautiful lady you could tell us more details such as ingredients love this video God Bless her 💕❤️😍❤️
Hey man, it's "nonna" in italian not "nona" 😉
This is just priceless. thank you! I just happened to stumble upon this video and now my heart is full! as another commenter said , it is so important to capture these moments and preserve these precious parts of culture. Again, thank you !
Your Grandma is awesome , she reminds me of my Grandma . They are both AWESOME , I thank you for all your videos , they bring back good memory's . I thank you very much .
Oh my goodness, this is the best video I've seen in a long time. I can watch her cook all day long! What a lucky family you have. I am most definitely going to make these ravioli for my family today.
So honored for you to share your family and recipes with us, you have a new subscriber. Thank you 🙏
I love this grandma! I wish that she had been in my life to teach me old school Italian cooking and recipes.
I love that board she uses for mixing and grandma
I love food. This is a great demonstration of how we used to be connected to our food, our family and our culture. As she points out, "we didn't go to the store to buy pasta". Seems fitting that during a time when homogeneity threatens our uniqueness, this vignette shines through. Thank you.
Thank you for this... For a minute in my mind my Grandma in Brooklyn was alive & talking cooking in her kitchen 💔😊❤
Are you Brooklyn born and raised? I was born and raised in Howard Beach, Queens. Howdy neighbor!!!
Brava!
beautiful!! god bless her and all that energy.i miss my grandma every day and all the wonderful things she used to make.havent had homemade ravioli manicotti cavatelli as good as my grandma made in years!!
make them.....she'd be proud
Same
My granny is full German and she loves to cook like you. But she hasn't cook as much cause she has just got diagnosed with skin cancer. Thanks for your videos reminding me of the fun times we had cooking together. I pray there will be more cooking together in the future.🙂🙂❤❤
I pray for your grandmother, may God watch over her and bring her to good health.
Thanks. Love your shows and accent
Many Thanks for sharing this. Your Grandma is truly amazing. What a wonderful sole
SOUL. IS THE SOUL THATS GOD GIVEN.
SOLE. IS WHATS ON THE BOTTOM OF YOUR SHOE.
It is so wonderful that your family will have these videos forever to keep your recipes and you making them. What a great gift!
This is the BEST pasta/raviola making video I've seen! Thank you so much.
Grandma is a gem!
i love you nonna, you are an inspiration for me. i hope to one day be half as talented and loving as you are!!!
LOL. found one of those tools in the kitchen drawer, and had no idea what it was. Can't wait to make these!! Thank you Grandma!!!
Unfortunately I never had a Grandma but if I could it would be Mama Gina. Thank you for all your videos they bring me peace during this time of uncertainty. God Bless you and your family! 🙏❤
I could watch her every day. She's a good cook. yum
I love how your Grandma shares her Italian and English directions! Love to hear both!
Thank you for sharing this! I've tried to make ravioli before but it never came out quite right. With Gina's instructions my ravioli today was amazing! Can't wait to try more of her recipes.
What a wonderful way to have generations of your family learn Grandma's wonderful recipes!! God bless this woman! She is beautiful!!!
I'm absolutely fascinated by these videos.. I can't stop watching!
callmecristal I know I watched about five in a row when I really should be doing something else haha
I love watching her hands! She is an artist and a treasure!! Bee blessed Danny and Rita in TN
Love that this is all documented on video!! My grandmother used to cook like this too so it's so lovely to see these recipes again
We are in australia and i love watching your youtube once again thank you. ciao
"you aska to mucha question" is what she wants to say to you.lol
OH My, this lady is very special. I would love to hug her someday.. Thanks Gramma, and good health to you and your family.
Your Grandma! She made love-filled ravioli! This is really slow food at its best.
Brings back memories of my childhood! I can smell it now! I miss it! And them! Nono too! He made all the wine, oil,
sauage and salmi!
Jeanie Delgado It would be a she, and it is spelled salami
Nonna ends in an a, so that's female; Nonno ends in an o, so it's male: Grandpa. And salmi is an actual food, a stew of wild meat and a lovely rich sauce.
You don't need to be correcting people--it's rude and shows what you yourself don't know.
Your grandma seems so sweet and her kitchen is so warm and inviting! Thank you for sharing her and her recipes with us. Grandparents are such treasures! I made ravioli tonight for the first time and it was better than store bought.
She is absolutely awesome. Too bad she had to work so hard! But, I bet that ravioli was incredible!!
This is not work to Gina ,this is pure enjoyment.
So much history without having to tell too much: mixing, kneading, shaping, cooking, serving. I love this grandma ❤️
I never had a grandmother in my life 😞 its nice to pretend she is my italian grandmama ❤
I find her channel comforting in this nutso world. I also like to think of her as my Gramma.☺
WVA Moviemaker ii
Love everything, but especially the way Grandma cracks eggs! Brilliant!
