The scope of supply of the high-performance intralogistics facility for the online distribution centre includes: the complete automated small parts warehouse, the entire container conveyor technology, the numerous picking and packaging workstations as well as the warehouse management system including system visualisation.
The 24 m high and 145 m long Multi Access Warehouse consists of two aisles. Each aisle is divided into 51 levels in which at least one, sometimes even two shuttles store and retrieve the containers. 106 vario.sprinters in total are used in two different versions: shuttles for a fixed container width of 570 mm and shuttles with closing actuator for a container width of 800 mm.
The racking system offers a storage capacity of 63,000 large containers with double-deep storage. The containers are transported to the requested storage level via six integrated container lifts per aisle, i.e. 12 in total.
Two groups, each with three high-performance rotapick order picking systems, are available for order picking. The target containers are located in the three discs of the rotapick, each disc accommodating 12 containers. The source containers are moved to the side of the picking workstations via a feeding conveyor system.
The extensive intralogistics is completed by 40 combination workstations at which goods can be stored and the customer packages can be prepared for dispatch. The type of use can be changed flexibly depending on the capacity utilisation of the system.
