@@klaystels6559 yeah they become stronger and stronger as a couple and time went by. Stelena had so much overwhelming chemistry it was unbelievable. Even in the first episode. Most of all they were happy. Most of Stelena's iconic moments Elena is smiling which she didn't do that with Damon. It was more fighting and sex than anything with a few actually cute moments sprinkled in-between. Imagine how powerful Stelena would have been as a couple of they pulled through to the end. Imagine how powerful Delena would have been as a best friends. In my opinion although it was teased Damon liking Elena and Elena possibly liking Damon also the whole Elena chosing Damon kinda came out of nowhere.

He's definitely make me laugh more time that I can count or say for Stefan and I do feel bad that he waited and loved Katherine for so long only to find out she never loved him and "it was always Stefan". Katherine and Elena did that the same day and I did feel sad for him. Playing second fiddle to your little brother all the time must be annoying but he should have just let go of his feelings for his brothers happiness. The writer's had the best opportunity for Damon's character development if he had let go of his feelings for Elena for Stefan instead of forcing Stefan out of the picture. Which he was heartbroken and lost for so many seasons after. I'm just glad when Silas was pretending to be Stefan and kept making comments about Damon stealing Elena, Damon never tried to defend himself. He sat there a took it. If I had it my way Damon and Elena would have been the best of friends. Stelena would have pulled through till the very end and Damon would have found his happiness romantically in someone else.

Fun fact: no one hated season 1-2 Elena. That was when she was with Stefan. Season 3 Elena was getting worse, but she wasnt completely hatable yet. That was when she was jumping between Salvatores. Season 4-6 Elena is who we hate. That was when she broke up with Stefan and got with Damon.
people always hate a woman who date brothers. it's part of the story that she dates both of them, and part of her character to be morally challenged. dislike of her character and elena's own dislike of herself was bound to happen as no one likes the fact that her feelings caused a rift between the brothers. it's not her fault that she felt the way she did for both of them and she tried so hard to keep it from happening and to do it in a way that hurt them the least. in the end a strong woman must choose to value her own happiness. it's sad people fail to acknowledge the point that elena ever since she arrived till the very end is what drew the brothers together and kept them together, healing their hundred year family trauma

She slept with Damon, but angry at Stefan because he was hanging out with Rebekah, she insulted Katherine for being involved with both of the Salvatore's, but later on she did the same thing, Caroline mom was dying and she made it on herself and kissed Damon while Caroline, her supposed to be best friend, was crying, she was angry with Rebekah cause she killed her (to save her family tho), when she did the same when Bex thought they were actual friends, she said Damon that he was trying to bring Bonnie back because he wanted to win Elena back when Damon and Bonnie were besties... I mean, she is an hypocritical, self centered and annoying character to me.

Elena slept with Damon, her ex's brother the day after they broke up, she got close to Damon when Stefan was away with Klaus to save both Damon and Elena's life, so meanwhile Stefan was losing everything, Damon is the guy who killed Jeremy, who abused Caroline, who killed Lexi... I mean SHE'S NOT in the position to judge

@@jasmine62997 elena certainly judges but she also sympathizes as well, (she sympathized with rebekah) she has sympathized with pretty much everyone on the show which i really like about her, unlike anyone but perhaps bonnie. you can sympathize with people but that doesn't mean you have to want to be near them when they've abused you. there are characters like caroline, for example, that judge all the time instead of sympathizing, in denial that they are judging what they have in themselves. elena had been clear to stefan beforehand how much she didn't want to be a vampire, and did express it after she turned, but wasn't hellbent on trying to cure it the way that stefan was. i didn't see her crying all over him about it. once she fed she accepted her fate and stefan just refused to let go of what was his fault. i saw stefan trying to push his way of feeding on her over and over and forcing things to be the way they were, in his typical 'nice guy' stefan way of course so it doesn't seem that pushy to an undiscerning eye, but i definitely can see elena risking her own life to please stefan and do it his way. she loved him and didn't want him to feel more guilt than he already did. this was her fault of course but i can empathize with her feelings. of course she told him she didn't want to hurt anyone, but he wasn't able to explain to her that she could feed without hurting them as he didn't know how to do that himself. also stefan chose to keep working with klaus after he was set free, and even states himself that it was purely for revenge. i will never jump on the bullshit pity and enable stefan train when even he himself would not stand by that.
For Elena to even fall for Damon...it goes completely against her character and doesn't even make any sense. They had to change Elena for even that to happen. It was completely annoying and useless. It came out of nowhere as well because episodes ago Elena clearly CHOSE STEFAN. She said "I was coming back for you Stefan". Why even make that scene in the first place if she was going to "fall" for Damon after?? The writing was all over the place

This is what infuriates me so much. She fought for him through all of season 3. She had to choosd and she choose Stefan. "It's always gonna be Stefan" . "Choosing you was the best decision I ever made." And then a few episodes later she started dating Damon. 🤦♂️🤦♂️ Julie Plec ruined it so much.
It will never make sense to me. There is no morsel in my brain that could find the life math to dictate why Elena Gilbert would leave the most endearing and perfect man for a toxic dark haired man with mommy issues.

When I first watch TVD Stefan and Elena's romantic chemistry was overwhelming. I felt it flooding through the screen. I felt their love and connection with each other in my bones.
Halfway through season 2 first watch I ended up finding out that Elena chose Damon over Stefan and I was in pure shock. When Delena first were together I did feel any chemistry. I wasn't feeling anything. I was just reading between the lines at to what I see on the screen.
than the end of season for when Elena chose Damon and they kissed I felt their chemistry for the first time and I felt so bad because I don't like them as a couple. Then it showed Stefan crying I nearly balled my eyes out but I think the only reason why I started to feel their chemistry is because I knew due to the internet that Stelena (sadly) never gets back together. Like don't get me wrong. I get the whole Damon look. He's funny and has made me laugh more times than I could count or say for Stefan. He definitely is one of my favorite characters of the show but Delena I don't get at all.
no matter what it was always inevitable seeing how obsessed Damon was with Katherine at the time of hanging around Elena a lot by virtue of Stefan's girlfriend but I like Delena better as friends. They are so much more powerful as friends. A lot of fans started shipping Delena when Damon danced with Elena at the miss mystic falls but I didn't see it that way at all. I was thinking of the cool parallel that Stefan got to dance with Katherine the last time and now Damon gets to dance with Elena (the look a like Katherine) doing the same dance at the same event.
Damon's character has already opened up and shown his soft side many times before and Damon's character deserved the character development in which he would have gotten if he let go of his feelings for the sake of his little brothers happiness. Stefan absolutely loved Elena more than anything aside from Damon and Damon and Elena shouldn't have forced Stefan into months of heartbreak.
I've never seen Stefan so happy and in love than he was when he was with Elena. And the sad parallel to that is I've never seen him more sad, and heartbroken and hurt and lost for so long than when Elena chose Damon. Yes, it was Stefan who chose to walk but he didn't really exactly have a choice.
Stefan Salvatore deserved better. Stefan Salvatore was the better brother. Stefan Salvatore was a true hero.
If I had it my way Stelena would have never ended. Damon and Elena would have been the best of friends and Damon would have found his happiness romantically in someone else.

when i see stelena fans open up about their reasons when not in attack mode to pull down delena (which is almost the only thing i ever see from stelena fans), it seems like the 'who has best chemistry' thing is almost a difference in what turns you on personally. because you started to like d/e when you liked the way they kissed in 4x22 and i didn't really feel the 'chemistry' there as much as their other kisses. i think most people can admit, regardless of what couple you like, that stelena's kind of chemistry was a lot more sweet, more fairytale-like and more young love and casual type of vibe. some people absolutely love that and perhaps that's what they want in a relationship or how they like to kiss and date. i'm a delena fan and i can see how me preferring their vibe/chemistry over stelena's makes sense with my personality. i have never been in to stelena types of couples, or stelena type of kissing or dating even in my own life. i intentionally look for couples that have banter and friction in media and i am attracted to people with whom i can have intellectual banter with who question my beliefs. i think it's kind of a personality thing and depends on what point you are in your life

I have watched romance show after romance show and I've never been in a relationship before but whenever I watched all these romance show I always ship them with the one she met first that's something that's the main lead. Yes it was discovered that actually she met Damon first but I'm talking in terms of watching. I think over time I learned to accept them as a couple. At least isn't as Delena isn't as nearly as weird as Caroline and Alaric. 😂 Also I may be a little jealous that Delena got the iconic romance scenes in any movie or show. 😂 Kissing in the rain, on the other side of the same door with hand on the same place, and dancing in the street. You pointed it so perfectly and said everything perfectly❤️ I absolutely agree with everything and I am a die hard Stelena shipper and Damon is a selfish dick for falling in love with his younger brother‘s girlfriend and giving him pain and heartbreak. That was so disgusting and gross of Damon. Damon should have found his happiness in another woman. Stefan and Elena should have been endgame no matter what. Stefan was and always will be the better man. It‘s so heartbreaking but Stefan deserved so much better. He got the worse ending of everyone. It was so unfair and annoying I can’t believe they did that to Stefan…he will always be my comfort character and my absolute favorite fictional character of all time. Damon and Elena had more chemistry in the first 3 seasons. She had chemistry with both brothers. And the idea of Damon hopelessly looking at Elena and messing up constantly while yearning for her was lowkey sad. But the way the show made them get together was badly executed.
The sire bond? Really? And they make damon sleep with her knowing she was sired? They make Elena say stuff like "Do you think Damon and I will ever be able to talk like this?" And everytime they "broke up" and had sex right after was...goofy. I blame Julie Plec honestly
This is the reason why I don't like Delena. They had to change Elena's personality for this. Her old good girl like personality had a way better charm and appeal when it comes to Damon's character.
And how Elena didn't realise bonnie was dead and Damon didn't know his lil bro was suffering and drowning because they were too focused with each other.
That irks me. It was so unnecessary and portrayed the relationship in a bad light.
Elena didn’t even remember when Damon killed Jeremy, she forgave him for killing Aaron (dahec), and how he allowed Enzo to walk over everybody. Throughout the series I tried giving Damon a chance to be ok with him, but the final straw was in S6 when he killed a PREGNANT woman. Also, killed Tyler, Vicki, and gave Aaron and Sarah miserable lives, what the hell was Stefan thinking letting him live or not telling Klaus to mess with him after Damon let Enzo do the same, so glad Stefan killed him btw. This whole drama began bc Stefan had more game with women and Damon was ungrateful of getting supernatural powers, jokes on him Stefan still got married earlier than him, I was ok that he and Caroline hooked.
Also guys, a Delena fan made an article called “22 reasons why Damon was the better brother and I was laughing at how stupid it was.”
u forgot Lexi...Damon killed lexi infront of his brother's one and only best friend and that on his birthday...and said it was part of the plan...then in s5 i guess,writers forced us to think that he was a good man when damon said she was a walking talking reminder of how horrible person i was...so i killed her...like seriously?? and then he kept simping for elena...and eventually got stefan's gf...

If we really want to be precise, Stefan didn’t actually stalk her. Damon did. Stalking is, according to the internet, “to harass or persecute someone with unwanted and obsessive attention”. Stefan never once harassed or scared her off, neither did he force her to change her routine because she felt threatened or persecuted. Damon was the one to stalk her, not Stefan.
Stefan was so humble to her throughout all the seasons. Infact I actually loved them after the break-up.

For me, the two really unforgivable things Stefan and Damon did to Elena were:
- Stefan pretending to drive off the bridge where her parents died
- Damon killing Jeremy when she rejected him
And guess what?
- Stefan would have never actually drove her off the bridge, he scared her and it was f up but the situation would have never created any permanent harm to Elena.
- When Damon snapped Jeremy's neck, he admitted to Elena he didn't know he was wearing the ring in that moment, which means he would have killed Jeremy and he would have caused permanent damage to Elena.
THAT'S who Damon is. They tried to redeem him to appease fans but they never actually pulled it off, because at his core, Damon is, as he loves to say time and time again, selfish.
Not to mention he killed her friend tried to kill her brother again

To be fair, scaring the hell out of Elena and making her relive her trauma DOES cause permanent damage, just not that obvious. I actually don't wanna compare those things but killing her brother because ... I don't know, he was bored or annoyed or something (I can't remember) is ... a different level. Thank u! At least someone agrees with us Stelena fans! Stefan is the better man, the better boyfriend, and the better brother. This is why I would choose Stefan over Damon any time, any second of the day. If I was around their age, acting in this show too, I would have the writers keep Elena and Stefan together. Well stelena is a true and cute epic love and sweethearts, but they broke up that's how people move on everyone got mad when elena cheated on Stefan and I got mad to but damon cheated on elena and nobody said anything so nobody is perfect or away meant to be

Elena and Stefan were soulmates and no one can ever tell me otherwise. Their souls and goals were the same and human Stefan and human Elena were perfectly made for each other. Stefan was always very selfless with Elena and respectful and cared for her feelings deeply and loved her unconditionally and would have done everything for her. They both had the same personality and values in life and aligned each other. Unfortunately as selfless and loving and protective Stefan was he sacrificed himself to Klaus just so that his brother could live. He did everything so that Damon could live but had to sacrifice his soul and values and humanity for him and gave himself up for Damon. Meanwhile Damon took advantage of that and kissed Elena and he also ALWAYS came between Elena and Stefan, kissed Elena, flirted with Elena and even killed ppl bc he wanted Elena. What type of brother does that?! Stefan was an amazing and beautiful soul despite him being a vampire he was the best character on the show and everyone truly loved Stefan. Elena backstabbed Stefan too which infuriates me so much. She gave up on Stefan when he needed her the most. I understand Elena‘s hurt and that she can‘t keep waiting for Stefan to become human again, it was also Stefan‘s fault since he didn’t fight enough for Elena too and gave up so easily and pushed Elena from him which was a great mistake. They both gave up but never once did Stefan stop loving her. They had such an unfortunate love story and Damon was a big reason of Stefan‘s pain and horrible life. Damon really made Stefan‘s life miserable and as a big brother he was a terrible guy. They did Stefan extremely dirty and Stefan and Elena should have ended up together meanwhile Damon should have died. It was Stefan‘s diary. It was his life with Elena and they made a terrible mistake of killing him in the end. It was so unfair and I am still very heartbroken about it especially since I am rewatching the show currently and my heart hurts so much for Stefan. Stefan and Elena were soulmates but unfortunately to many people kept getting between them and destroyed their lives. In another life they could have been happily ever after…He deserved the world, Stefan was a beyond wonderful and kind and loving selfless person❤️

Elena is not someone who would be head over heels to someone that she would sacrifice and risk her relationship with everyone for a guy. They really did her character dirty just to force Delena because the fans loved it. But watching seasons 1-2 gives you the real Elena, the compassionate Elena who is objective and who would always choose her friends than her bf.
The only argument Antis have against Stelena is the bridge scene and him “stalking” her. But, did you forget that your fav stalked, scared and harmed her in the process? Not to mention, y’all antis TALK sm about the bridge scene yet, it slips your mind the amount of crap Damon put Elena through. Oh, and him being “morally grey” is 0 justification periodt.
I honestly think because the actors dated in real life VPD capitalized on it. In the book I think Stefan and Elena end up together.
Either way as I keep watching it just seems like after they broke up in real life the writers still had to continue the love story, like no backing out now.

Thank you for making this video! The way Delena's story unrevelled is so unsettling. And being with Damon is literally against Elena's character and values. I mean, I enjoyed their chemistry but they worked only as those flirty pals, not as an actual healthy couple with a future and shared worldview. That's why they killed her in her human (reasonable) form and even made her sired to Damon to make her "choice" to leave Stefan and be with Damon at least a little bit plausible. I really enjoyed a few first seasons but starting with season 4, it's just a downfall. I watched scenes from later seasons and Elena is so different there. Their relationship with Damon is 90% kissing and having sex and 10% arguing while her and Stefan were so aligned in their core values and desires. Such a shame to kill a beautiful pairing with mutual respect and great support for each other and create a one based solely on passion and longing for "adventure and danger". And the way Damon put Katherine and Elena before Stefan is so disgusting. Stefan literally sacrificed his freedom for him in season 3 and Damon cared more avout Elena than helping his brother. Not to mention how he constantly tried to win Elena over while they were together or how he slept with her literally a day or two after she broke up with Stefan. He also terrorized Stefan for over a century because Katherine was into him and made him a vampire even though Stefan was compelled throughout their relationship! Like, it's your brother, not some random dude, how dare you treat him like that

In Damon's defense, he DID save Elena's life at least twice while she was with Stefan. Once when she was in the car and the other vampire made her crash the car and tried to attack her. Damon saved her and took her to Georgia to keep her safe. He saves her from being shot by taking an arrow in the back for her in the second season. Damon is the one who saves Elena from the hospital when she is being used by Klaus for her blood. All of this BEFORE she turned into a vampire and fell in love with him.
Damon snapped her brothers neck in front of her. Walked it off with ease.

Stelena will always have my heart. They were literally the definition of pure love. Not gonna lie delena did have passionate moments but for me that was just it only. Elenas personally completely changed when she got with Damon. SHE LITERALLY kept defending Damon when he made bad choices. Season 1-2 Elena would never allow a guy to change her morals and beliefs. Instead of elenas character to develop within the series she just kept getting worse and worse...
I was most of the way through this when I had an epiphany Elena was a massive hypocrite in season 3 whenever she criticized Jeremy for wanting to retain an attachment to Anna who was dead, when she in season 6 was taking hallucination witch herbs so that she could love a ghost herself.
