Stelena was such an epic love. He saved her before he even knew her. Damon only let her live because she looked like Katherine. Damon spent 145 years obsessed with Kat and then Elena comes along and he thrusts those feels on her. Stefan loved Elena for Elena. She never wanted to be a vampire. Also Damon only did stuff for himself. Stefan sacrificed everything for Damon time and time again. So many people said the Elena was Stefan’s epic love. That kind of love doesn’t just fade. She would always love him and he would always love her. They were soulmates. They had a love that anyone would kill for. The show was ruined when Damon and Elena got together. Damon was so jealous over Stefan because Katherine choose Stefan over him. Idk how Elena could even look at Damon. He killed her brother. Idk about you but if anyone touched my siblings there would be severe pain involved. Stelena deserves better, for all the hell they both went through.

In 8 season the siren Sybil appears , which enters in Damon's beautiful head and replace Elena with herself, BUT Damon again love Elena!!! Is this enough to prove that their love is epic and REAL!!! By the way Stelena is the worst couple EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Damon does anything to protect Elena, but doesn't think about others. Stefan would always protect Elena but he always sacrifices himself so others don't get any harm. Stefan is a really genuine and pure person. On the other hand, Damon does anything for the girl he loves he doesn't care about anyone he breaks hearts, he does everything to be bad. Stefan deserved better.

I hate that everyone likes Damon more because of his bad boy attitude or his hot body. Stefan was pure, sweet and just didn't even pay attention to his looks. He payed attention to Elena cause she was..well Elena, not some copy of Katherine. Lets remember that Damon was, and still is addicted to Katherine. And i DONT understand Steroline (Caroline and Stefan), I think thee writers payed attention to what the fans wanted, not what Elena and Stefan needed. They were soulmates and they had true love, and you could see that in the last episode. If i had to describe their love in 1 word, it would be:"epic."

He tried his hardest for her, he resisted an original vampires compulsion because of his love for her. It was the perfect relationship. Stefan was the perfect boyfriend. Their love was real. Stefan did everything he could for Elena. Everything that Elena needed / wanted she had. Because of Stefan. It was clear Stefan was the better option. Their relationship was based on happiness, love, kindness and all these other things. Yes they had their ups and downs but every relationship does. Damon and Elenas relationship was based on anger and violence. Stefan was pure. They needed to be endgame. I don’t even want to watch it anymore because they broke up. She made him a better person and he did the same to her. He was pure. As Katherine said “Stefan is the better man”

When they were airing TVD I was a Delena shipper. But now I watch it again I realized Stelena should have been the end game. Damon was the cool bad guy that audience were pulled to. They had passion. But now that I am older I see what Stefen and Elena had was something more pure that transcended every barrier. They were done dirty. Stefan especially. They should have been together.

This is how the book went tho just tweaked they did the whole delena thing longer because the fans forced it I’m guessing Julie wanted to keep the ratings high because of that if Nina never left Selena would have been endgame gotten back together and end how it started an epic love. Julie said it herself plus kinda forced it since you can tell delena was kinda epic at some point because they dated in real life.

He sacrificed everything for her, over and over again. He sacrificed himself for her, by dying in the last episode cause he wanted her to see Damon. exactly. she loved damon but she was still in love with stefan when she died as human. vampirism heightens feelings and she was sired to damon. so it heightened her feelings for damon becos of the sire bond. but it did nothing about stefan because he wasn't her sire. when she chose stefan over damon before she died, she chose it because she loved stefan more. even when she was in the cells, about to die cos she didn't feed to transition, she chose stefan, she told him she came back for him because she loved him over damon. but once she fed, her sire bond activated and she suddenly wasn't into stefan as much as before. and when she fed from damon (disgusting cos damon knew how deep that is and how it can ruin stelena and he still made her feed from him) it got worse cos she was now more connected to damon than ever.
Stefan literally went into a cave he couldn’t escape where his nemesis was so he could save Jeremy, and what did Damon do? He killed Jeremy. But Elena still chose Damon, despite how much she loves her brother.
And it’s also sad because Elena lost so much family and Jeremy was the last family she had.
I missed her season 1 and 2 of how pure she was after that I hated her with damon

Even when Stefan and Elena were together Damon was constantly hitting on and flirting with Elena and had no sense of privacy and one time tried compelling her to kiss him and that time when he did compel her and was trying to constantly kiss her and didn't care for his brother's love life and his constant encroachment and his selfishness and the fact he kills people in cold blood when he gets upset or when Elena upsets him. I love Damon as a character but he just wasn't right for Elena. He was a good solo character.
One of the worst decisions these writers made was splitting these two up. This couple had everything: passion, angst, intimacy, chemistry and quality writing. They fought for each other, challenged each other, made each other love and appreciate life. It was truly a beautiful ship.

Knowing that they aren't going to be together anymore, and that the show is no longer continueing anymore episodes. It makes me so sad that they were not endgame, and I know that everyone says they should've been endgame. But the truth is, they really should have. Stefan and Elena's love was so pure, kind hearted, real, passionate, selfless, and epic. They were soulmates, they changed the other for the better even if they went through lots of bumps in the road. If they were not soulmates they wouldn't have changed one another the way they did. Stefan and Elena really made the whole show worth watching. It's disappointing that they producers couldn't carry them to the end. Stelena's love, forever and always

Damon and Elena together in the end makes no sense, in so many ways, I just finished the show thinking that’s eventually Stefan and Elena or at least Katherine would end up together... but he ends up with Karoline. This could’ve honestly been the greatest show I’ve ever watched if it didn’t end the way it did

I don’t know if it’s because Nina and Ian dated and it was more awkward doing scenes together? But even while they were dating in the first few seasons, the Stefan and Elena scenes were just so pure and beautiful to me. I couldn’t believe the fan base shipped Delena more than Stelena, I was actually shocked. The writers even said they only changed it for the fans. It was never supposed to happen, especially with how the first few seasons were written. You could FEEL the bond between Stefan and Elena. And even after the writers tried so hard to make it seem like the Stelena relationship never existed. They tried to make all of these heartfelt scenes between Elena and Damon, and then they threw Stefan and caroline together. None of it convinced me. None of these couples had the chemistry and the love story like Stefan and Elena.

I can not get over the scene where Elena was on the phone to Stefan when he rang her. (This was when he went on a rampage with Klaus) When she answered the phone even when he didn’t make a sound she knew it was him, she reassured him that it was going to be ok and that she loved him.
She kept on looking for him and he told her to go away but she never gave up on him. Their love was epic, if she hadn’t been turned with Damon’s blood then her and Stefan could have worked out.

stefan's love was pure and from the heart, he would've done anything for her and respected her. he loved her so much that he did everything in his power to make her happy even if it meant hurting her or himself in the process. that is the kind of love that never dies. the kind of love that even when ur broken up and both have different significant others u still would do anything for each other and still put each other first. the kind of love that didnt need physical touch to keep on burning. the kind of love that broke through any obstacles it faced. a flame that kept burning through centuries. the story started with Stefan and Elena pulling each other out of their own emotional black holes. they showed each other how to live and love again. they gave each other purpose.

I watched entire 1st Season nonstop without break because I fell in deep love with Stefan and Elena. During 2nd episode of Season 2, I searched for who Elena chooses and it broke my heart. I shut down video and deleted Vampire Diaries from my Lappy. I will never imagine any one but Stelena. I love them.

I will always be disappointed on how they destroyed Elena’s character. I think she sometimes was annoying but vampire Elena was so shallow so obsessed with Damon and didn’t car for anything else at all, they really didn’t gave Elena the character development she deserved. I love Damon but after everything he did and what Stefan did for Elena to be happy, she chose the wrong Salvatore and us and the whole show knows it.
