The only thing that I don't agree with is giving so much Praise to the Chiefs. They had to play the two most injured defenses in the playoffs. It's easy to round back in the form when you play a Miami team with no pass rush and a Bills team with no linebackers. Oh and both of them were missing their top cornerback. This is the first real defense at the Chiefs have had to play since either the Bengals or the Patriots.

As a Lions fan, I will watch you guys again after not because I just didn't think you guys were capable of objective review (Cough Bears fan) but Brett talking about the Lions front office redeemed this show for my future time and viewership. Fair review of what is happening on the Lions team requires a seriously deep review of the team from the top to the bottom of the organization. The Lions have a Team Culture that is honestly the BEST in the entire NFL. The Lions have the talent - they may need another year to develop it as the Ravens are very very tough... Ravens vs Lions in the Super Bowl is my prediction. Ravens will probably win the Super Bowl game unless they make mistakes and or the Lions can cause them to make mistakes. Either way - these two teams will use these 49ers and Chiefs to sharpen for the main event.

@@F5BOTD Nope. Simply sick of style over substance or in this case narratives over facts. *Especially* on analysis channels. Besides I'm player-loyal, not franchise. I'm hoping the Browns make a play to get Justin Fields.
Fields is a Perfect Example Of how a team does a player wrong & You The Fans _KNOW_ it! If Joe Burrow stared at instead of threw to open receivers they'd be running MRIs after the 2nd time. So how effed up is it that the Bears _every coach on the Bears_ simply does not see him doing this? Something is up.
The Browns meanwhile are trying to win & can't keep this roster together forever. They're stuck paying Watson if he *dies* & no one knows if he returns to form ever _or_ if DTR will be NFL-ready next season.
You say "thanks for your service" to Flacco & P.J. Walker (or package them in a trade if you can), get Fields & force Watson to work to earn the starter's spot. Future draft picks mean nothing if you don't use them to win a championship.
They might be unstoppable with Fields & the Bears will eat 'dirt' if he succeeds anywhere, but that's the most likely place for him to succeed.
Notice I _didn't_ say the Vikings. It would be an okay place for Fields but I think that at the very least Poles would not want to trade him to a division rival. The Bears have screwed themselves here. If Fields succeeds _anywhere_ they look inept.
But they seem eager to replace him with "Their Choice" at Any Cost so if they want that _AND_ be able to trade for picks to help them, Fields needs to go.

People are sleeping on the Ravens defense. The chiefs defense is really good and is still an ocean away from what the Ravens are doing. Ravens are better in all 3 phases of the game, are way more tested with 15 games against winning teams anyway. The Ravens are already 2-0 against conference finalists by a combined score of 71-25. The chiefs just beat up on severely injury-depleted defenses, they have no idea what they're walking into at the bank.

I'm sorry but Lamar as MVP makes no sense. Lamar has had 3600 yds and 24 TDs this season. He played elite in Dec but that was it. Lamar is a below avg passer, there's no way around it. He makes plays with his legs but for as long as people keep thinking he's elite, he'll keep proving people wrong. This season he wasn't consistent and he wasn't delivering the goods. And the ravens simply forgot how to run against a not so good running defense. If you think the ravens is great because of Lamar your picks will be wrong almost every time. If anything he's a liability.
At the other game, a similar thing happens. If you think pressuring the best QB this season under pressure is the best way to go about it... It isn't. If you think cmc is the best offensive player of the 49ers, you'll keep making wrong picks. Every time a defense underestimated Purdy this season they got knocked out. Spags is not making this mistake.
It's just like madden, if you put the wrong numbers in and run a prediction it'll give you a wrong prediction. If your premises are wrong, your conclusion will be wrong 100% of the time.

On paper the Ravens are WAY better than the Chiefs. Both QBs elevate their offenses & are amazing at scrambling for extra yards. After that, the Chiefs are stronger where? Maybe the o-line? & while we'd all still put Kelce above Likely and Andrews (assuming he even plays) there's no comparison on defense. The Chiefs have Chris Jones & an above average roster. The Ravens have The Best defense.
Same thing in the NFC, just different details. Both Purdy AND Goff don't play well under certain stresses. Then it looks equal everywhere else but the o-line: Kittle, LaPorta, Run-CMC, Gibbs-Monty, St-Brown & Co., Aiyuk, Samuel & occasionally McCloud (but I don't think I've EVER seen McCloud have two good games in a row).
But the defense? Aiden Hutchinson is not an entire team. Yet on any given Sunday... plus how while Shanahan does it way less often, he _still_ clenches up & focuses on the defense when stressed. Even when behind. (Hence his terrible record when down in the 4th quarter).

@@Enfield14 Mahomes has that Brady factor in him. Everything can say he should lose and he'll win anyway. Betting on the Chiefs just because of Mahomes is a pretty smart bet these days. And I'll take nothing away from you. If you're into coexistence you go for it.

People are sick of seeing the Chiefs in the Superbowl and are just using Taylor Swift as the reason. Only Chiefs fans want to see them in the Superbowl AGAIN. Everyone else is sick of it
Mahomes was lucky to play against practice squad linebackers last week.

My only hope is that Deebo Plays, because if he doesn’t and the Niners end up losing, I know all well hear all offseason is “if we had me we would have wiped the floor with yall” just the same as last season, hope the Lions can shut him the hell up

If the Chiefs play like they did against the Bills, they are going to get blown out.
They went into that game with extra rest, super favorable ref crew, and yet again going up against a team that was missing 6 of their key defensive players, and KC barely managed to escape with a win thanks to a timely relaxation of the PI rules.

Lmao KC would’ve won by 10 had it not been for a fumble in the endzone 😂 and way to sneak in the refs, despite there being very few calls on either team

When, not if, Kyle chokes it will cost the 9ers. He tried to give it away last week with the way he managed the end of the first half. Campbell plays to win. Kyle plays to not lose and this will be another wasted season. Oh, well.

How are the 49ers the evil team? They’ve gone through heartbreak over and over and over. Lions players have been dirty and talking trash but everyone treats them like a baby

    • @173jaSon371

Oh no, those poor 49ers fans with only 6 nfccg appearances since 2000 and 5 super bowl victories in their franchise history. And multiple super bowl appearances since 2010. The Lions have sucked for basically forever and the media is too busy hyping up a QB with the fewest pass attempts and best weapons in the NFL. And here are their stupid fans crying about "heartbreak" as if the Lions aren't one of the most cursed sports franchises in the country. This is why they are "evil". Their fans are dog shit and whiny babies.

Welcome to Human Nature. Does the child want to learn to read, or to have Daddy read *to* them? People want A Narrative. & they get horribly upset when they don't get the one they want, while they are 100% willing to ignore all reality that doesn't conform to this desire.
No need to read further if that's the only answer/narrative you want, because this gets dark. People Want To Believe that some Great force looks out for them but the concept of the Christian God is too distant. So people seek to hang that hope onto some easily-identifiable physical form(s). So 'politicians' "ARE" 'Government Itself' even though this is obviously Not True.
The belief ignores all reality. Lobbying _IS_ illegal & is bribery. D'uh. If you saw this arrangement in a movie you'd _KNOW_ everyone involved to be The Villains. But in real life? People actively refuse to acknowledge this just like children would.
