A trip down south for some python? Now that sounds like adventure. There was a big fire in half of my hunting unit and the other half got too crowded. Better luck next time.
The thickness and the tenderness of that jerky is perfect for me. I've got some deer in the freezer and need to break out and make some. Usually my go to soy sauce is Kikkoman. How does the Aloha Soyu compare?
Aloha Shoyu has less salt and the taste isn't as bitter (at least to me). It's easy to find in Utah because we have a large Polynesian population. I bet you could use your favorite soy sauce and have it turn out great.
Goose jerky and deer jerky are by far my two favorites.
Nice! I got a deer tag this year and hope to make some in October.
Nice tips. I haven’t had wild game jerky yet, however I have rifles and I’m a great shot, I may need to take a trip. Lol. Thanks for sharing

Grill Top Experience Snake is Excellent. If you ever get a chance to eat it, I highly recommend.
Mmmm wild game jerky!
It turned out well. Thanks Glen!
Thanks Mr GTE, great video and information. Love what you do.
Thank you for the support. I do it in hopes that it helps people in their own bbq journey.
