I very well enjoyed this video and learned about how desperate the corporate side of Chuck E Cheese to destroy history. The whole Billy Bob just being taken home is a funny thing to me. Kinda reminds of how there is a place here in West Virginia called Billy Bob's Wonderland which basically straight up refused to do concept unification. Instead just changed the name.
its a shame Billy Bob's Wonderland then stopped giving a damn about maintaining their animatronics for a very long time. I've heard that recently they're in better condition cosmetic wise, not sure how well they are mechanically though, but it sucks that it took them this long to bother fixing them.
@Makaponpon recently went, they are starting to need repairs, for instance, Rolfe's mask had a crack in it, and billy bob's eyelids are too far down where he gives a pissed look.
Its really sad that they're doing that. Animatronics cost so much and they're so cool. For them to just destroy them like that is CRAZY to me, such a waste
you're very well spoken and your comedic timing is nice - im glad people like you care enough to try to preserve this odd but fascinating niche. it truly is a fascinating world i wish i were born slightly earlier to truly enjoy!
Get the whole band back together and then record a few shows! These old robots are a national treasure. It's horrifying that the rich show a lack of respect to them.
One of the first videos i ever watched on RUclips was a Chuck E Cheese training video and 15 years later, wow someone finally has the animatronics saved.
Im personally thrilled to see you rescuing these from destruction. If i was rich i would do the same. I collect vintage toys and comics and save them from destruction as well. I have hundreds of mint sealed figures from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Oh i also have dozens of halloween animatronics 😎
YOU'RE THE ONE WHO BOUGHT THEM! I called about that showbiz pizza animatronic set the day after you bought it. I saw the listing on craigslist...My mom grew up in that place, we still have tokens floating around from there, I'm sure. I'm so glad they're in a good home! As i was watching i saw them come up and was like "Damn I almost bought a set just like that" Then you said in the Topeka Kansas area, and I about spat my drink out!
You guys got Hannah Banana’s, which had a Creative Engineering show made up of Billy-Bob, Birthday Bird, Loony Bird, and the restaurant’s mascot, Hannah Banana.

I just recently a few months ago left my amazing job at Chuck E Cheese. It was the best job I've ever had, but during my time there, we went from a Studio C to a Dance Floor. While I wasn't able to save the animatronic, I did something I shouldn't have. With the help of the contractors in charge of 2.0, I was able to save a sign that once hung above the registers. It is Cool Chuck in his yellow sweater and red and green hat. It is one of my most prized possessions and it is currently hanging up in my home game room.
A company deciding not to use something anymore and spending so much money and time uselessly making sure no one else can use or will never cease to be funny and depressing

dude those animatronics you have are sick, ive always been super interested in the history of these guys and Im glad people are taking matters into their own hands to save and repair them
... So Corporate wanted to get rid of the animatronics as a cost saving measure, and saw people trying to buy or salvage them for large sums of money... and thought to destroy them rather than auction them off? Like I get it may not be a large sum of money compared to their typical renvue and it being a niche market of collectors, but at least some profit could be made or even just reduce the cost of destroying the animatronics by only destorying the ones that weren't sold in an auction or something
Yeah I’ve never understood this. Whenever they take the animatronics out, they put in a dance floor in their place. I feel like if they’d auctioned off the animatronics, they could’ve used some of that auction money to help cover the costs of the dance floors, but I guess not. 🤷♀️

I heard this story over a hundred times from diffrent pepole on this platform, but you still menaged to catch my attention through the whole video, also I belive that Billy Bob was not used during Concept Unification just to piss Aaron off
What you're doing to ensure the survival of these parts of history is just amazing, I look forward to seeing them restored and refurbished, so all generations to come can remember these animatronics for what they are.
Hello GSully ! To correct a bit of misinformation, Robert Brock was not a founder of CEC. He signed up to be the largest franchisee of CEC's Pizza Time Theatre stores. This was a year or two after PTT incorporation. Robert had also been the largest franchisee of Holiday Inns previous to signing up for the PTT franchise. But when Bob attended the annual IAAPA trade show, he saw Aaron's animatronics, and chose to break away from CEC franchising. Thus began the lawsuit and counter-lawsuit. I know this information because I was the 7th PTT, Inc Corporate office employee after Nolan bought the assets from Warner Communications in 1978. -dale
Funny how the tables turn, showbiz wanted to bankrupt creative so they could have free reign over the rock-a-fire explosion but after that brilliant idea failed years later they’re trying to stop people from having any part of their precious pizza time players band, despite the fact that over half of them were just rock-a-fire bots skinned and turned into the chuck e cheese gang
from what i wathced today the north ridge la chuck e cheese will still have them. they had a "live press comfrence" today on the offical chuck e cheese resturant. they said they will have a perment home for the band and might go to other places i dont think this is the end just yet

There allegedly is a museum that has acquired a Rockafire Explosion band and is trying to form an exhibit out of it. @@Ashley-vc2gy
Chuck E. Cheese animatronics: goes to the collector's prompt hands
Corporate: I HOPE YOU DIE IN A FIRE!
lmao i never knew how accurate fnaf 2 was to reallife
imagine some fazbear employee just dragging a whole fukin withered bonnie into their car tho 😂
Not everything needs to be associated with FNAF, dude. Its annoying.
Its really sad that they're doing that. Animatronics cost so much and they're so cool. For them to just destroy them like that is CRAZY to me, such a waste
This commentary was absolutely amazing! You deserve more views for the content you make! 👍
you're very well spoken and your comedic timing is nice - im glad people like you care enough to try to preserve this odd but fascinating niche. it truly is a fascinating world i wish i were born slightly earlier to truly enjoy!
Your restoration of them look REALLY well done. Nice job!
Get the whole band back together and then record a few shows! These old robots are a national treasure. It's horrifying that the rich show a lack of respect to them.
One of the first videos i ever watched on RUclips was a Chuck E Cheese training video and 15 years later, wow someone finally has the animatronics saved.
brilliant video! thank you for saving these animatronics from becoming nothing more than scrap metal. It's truly nice to see them in a better home.
I'd love to get a Rolf animatronic at some point, these old bands are so interesting (We don't have animatronic bands in the UK, never did)
Hard luck bears show at gullivers got fixed recently
You guys got Hannah Banana’s, which had a Creative Engineering show made up of Billy-Bob, Birthday Bird, Loony Bird, and the restaurant’s mascot, Hannah Banana.
hannah banana shut down ages ago after a lady found glass in her pizza@@erikhill356
@@erikhill356the show got destroyed after owners changed and the guitar is the only thing left of that show
Holy cow, great video, it was very well put together and that ending was icing on the cake.
2:28 brock was not a founder of pizza time theatre, brock hotels was supposed to franchise pizza time theatre locations, but broke off when he saw the wolf pack 5 at IAAPA
Looking forward to your inevitable follow-up video about how Northridge and another location have gotten/are getting a 2.0 that keeps the animatronics and some classic decorations!!!
This video was just so good. Loved the jabs by showing your collection. This was really informative and learned some things I didn’t know.
A company deciding not to use something anymore and spending so much money and time uselessly making sure no one else can use or will never cease to be funny and depressing
I couldn't have been prepared for that outro and he's my favorite one - finally some happy tears about all this. 😭Maybe one day we'll be able to see a "short" of him boppin' around doin' his thing.
Great video! You covered the history really well, also live that ending lol
Holt crap I never realised how big beach bear/jasper was. Amazing video!
from this video we can gather the following information
- you're a rare gem, I hope you can save as much animatronics as possible
- scott cawthon nonstop watches similar videos and writes everything down
- CEC is stupid
The wait is finally over, I can sleep more peacefully now that this video is out. Thank you for educating new people about CEC and the RAE.
As someone who also loves animatronics I must say this video is awesome! Wishing you luck keeping these animatronics alive 👍
It’s awesome that you own a Jasper animatronic!
dude those animatronics you have are sick, ive always been super interested in the history of these guys and Im glad people are taking matters into their own hands to save and repair them
They could've made a few million at least
Yeah I’ve never understood this. Whenever they take the animatronics out, they put in a dance floor in their place. I feel like if they’d auctioned off the animatronics, they could’ve used some of that auction money to help cover the costs of the dance floors, but I guess not. 🤷♀️
Never thought to see Shattered Chucky. Reminds me of the Shattered animatronics in Five Nights At Freddy's.
Just be careful about them moving around at night. We don't need a 3rd bite for the lore.
MatPat will have a whole field day with this one.
“Uhh… the animatronics do get a bit quirky at night” Sully: “TURN ON LIGHT CLOSE DOOR OPEN DOOR TURN OFF LIGHT TURN ON LIGHT CLOSE DOOR TURN OFF LIGHT…. AHH THERES ONE IM HERE! ❤all the credit this guy gets 👍👍two thumbs up! 😅
I’ve been obsessed with animatronics since I was a very little girl-I remember my brother being absolutely terrified of Chuck E Cheese. He wouldn’t go near any of the animatronics. Meanwhile I’m trying to figure out how they fucking work. Now I’m 27 and my obsession hasn’t died-only grown to encompass Halloween animatronics and a weird affinity for FNAF
Nice job Sully, I'm glad that other popular RUclipsrs are spreading awareness of this.
THIS PART WAS CRAZY!!😂 11:04
0:47 I love the defunctland/yesterworld refrence(I get confused about the two😭😭)
Man just casually has a 3 stage Jasper in his house and i love it
Did he went dumpster diving to save him?
I only really remember Rock Afire. By the time our local Showbiz turned into a CEC, I only cared about pizza and games and didn't really sit and watch the shows.
I heard this story over a hundred times from diffrent pepole on this platform, but you still menaged to catch my attention through the whole video, also I belive that Billy Bob was not used during Concept Unification just to piss Aaron off
outta all the people i met, i never expected you to be a fan/aniamtroinc collector! congrats man!
Would be 10 times better for the company if they just sold those animatronics And didn’t destroy them That would be a huge revenue stream for them
What you're doing to ensure the survival of these parts of history is just amazing, I look forward to seeing them restored and refurbished, so all generations to come can remember these animatronics for what they are.

1:00 You can hear the Fnaf one theme or the Finnuff seem the most iconic theme
Funny how the tables turn, showbiz wanted to bankrupt creative so they could have free reign over the rock-a-fire explosion but after that brilliant idea failed years later they’re trying to stop people from having any part of their precious pizza time players band, despite the fact that over half of them were just rock-a-fire bots skinned and turned into the chuck e cheese gang
I don't think I've caught on to why they want all of the animatronics to be destroyed. They could of made thousands if they sold them.
7:24 HA! My arm made it in the video!😂😂
What?

@@TroublesomeJunction MAN! YOUR LUCKY!
It's so crazy how they're getting rid of all of this history. Especially with the popularity of FNAF you'd think business would go up a bit.
from what i wathced today the north ridge la chuck e cheese will still have them. they had a "live press comfrence" today on the offical chuck e cheese resturant. they said they will have a perment home for the band and might go to other places
i dont think this is the end just yet
Everyone watch out. Sully is slowly gonna start wearing purple clothes and speaking through a rotary phone
im just praying an engineer with way too much time on his hands will somehow recreate the animatronics.
Didn't chuck e cheese literally file for bankruptcy a few years ago?
why would they be so against selling the animatronics when they NEED MONEY!?!?!?!
As an animatronics fan I'm glad you finally made this video
did you seriously drill holes into a 1980 mech for jasper cosmetics.
Im so glad that u have an animatronic it’s means alot man! #SAVETHEANIMATRONICS!
