If Another angler wandered past while you were out of the swim , they'd of been convinced that the borrowers had taken up carp fishing. Good fun Shaun and a great looking camera ready common for any session. . I saw a really good film somewhere on here recently where a couple of anglers gave themselves an hour to forage the kit they had to use to fish for a two hour match . They were given line, a hook and a landing net but everything else had to be scavenged from around the pits they were at. Biggest surprise was one of them using mud with ant lava and grubs in it as ground bait and working maybe better than what you'd usually use. Loving these different type of films to mix it up.

i laught so much when you put the bobbing on both the rods at 9.20 you could of just use a washing up bottle top.. next funny video you can do with those rods.is. float fish the margins and watching you plumbing the depth ..and probley you might need an extension on the rod just the find the right depth at the margin and 18..00 nice carp 10 pound carp
Commercial? It’s an old reservoir at the bottom of a valley, across two farmers fields, quite far from a commercial venue. Also, you missed the point of the video. I’m testing an ice rod for fun, not proving if I can or can’t catch from the lake.
There are enough prepared pegs to make it a well fished spot and not the natural setting your trying make it out to be . And what would you have done had you hooked a good sized carp and your 12 inch rod had snapped in two?
@@Stewbo1 there’s a big difference between a commercial fishery and a mixed fishery reservoir, platforms are in place for anglers to use a seat box when targeting bream and roach etc. The rod wasn’t going to snap, it’s an Ice fishing rod designed to catch Muskie, Pike and big Trout through the ice. It’s a fun video, stop living life negatively and open your eyes!
I’ve fished the lake for 30 years, there are no snags for the fish to get into. I had open water in front of me so the fish could swim freely until it could be netted.
