Great short session Hugh , good angling fella . They were certainly on that bait and well up for some munch . Congrats on the PB Roach too Shaun , well done mate. Steve M
Question for the both of you & any viewers Recommendations for a day session chair ? The old low one I’ve gots range is 30 to 40 cm in height adjustment…….. very muddy , slippery banks & I’m getting on in years
I've had a bad back the last couple of years, struggled to get out my chair..Been using 2 bait buckets with a pillow just for height, not ideal but helps me stand up.
That does sound rough, I heard that noise when my gears were going on a reel I had...But also sounds like the line is extra tight or struggling to come off the spool.
Not all of them, only if there is a need to treat them. A good hook hold is just a small pin prick mark, no need to add a foreign substance to them just because an industry tells you too.
@@TheFishingBloggers I'm just saying because we all now the need to look after the fish because that's what we all go fishing because it doesn't matter what size they are I do it on every fish I catch so it's in good nick for the next person who catches it
@ if the hook mark is just a small pin prick then removing a fish from the water and applying a foreign object to its mouth is more likely to cause more harm than what the ‘carp care’ is actually going to prevent. I’ve stuck many hooks in my hand before and never used an antiseptic to treat it…. If the mouth of the carp is torn or damaged more than expected, then yes the treatment would be worth using. Every fish does not need ‘carp care’ to be applied, each situation should be assessed on its on merits.
Cracking Session Hugh, some lovely fish and good banter all around, what it's all about 👍

Question for the both of you & any viewers
Recommendations for a day session chair ?
The old low one I’ve gots range is 30 to 40 cm in height adjustment…….. very muddy , slippery banks & I’m getting on in years
We both use the Shakespeare SKP lightweight compact chair, mainly because it’s ultra light!
I've had a bad back the last couple of years, struggled to get out my chair..Been using 2 bait buckets with a pillow just for height, not ideal but helps me stand up.
@@NeneValleyFishing that’s not good. We travel as light as possible so our kit is not likely to be suitable for your needs.
Boys thanks for the reply chair looks nice & light but too low for me to jump up out of especially on muddy banks
@@andym5900 yea it’s a low chair, we use it because it’s so light and staying mobile is are main focus
Great video as usual and we'll fished - Shesrwater by any chance?
Yes it’s Shearwater 👍
Don't know what line u use, but yeah sounds like wire🙈😜I use Gardner GT. HD18lb👌very smooth, anyway great angle of the danglers 👍
It’s probably the carbon reel making that noise, doesn’t sound sexy, but it’s ultra light and smooth!
Na, when you cast
@@Apocalyptic656 oh fair enough
That does sound rough, I heard that noise when my gears were going on a reel I had...But also sounds like the line is extra tight or struggling to come off the spool.
@@NeneValleyFishing brand spanking new reels, but the line is off another set of reels so might be the line.
So you don't treat the fish you catch with carp care kit
