You demonstrated your practical skills in achieving the desired outcome, which is why I clicked, without wasting my time telling me what a genius you are. How refreshingly humble! Entertaining to boot!
I just bought a 92 f150 flareside in amazing condition with only 80k miles on it. Unfortunately the previous owner installed snaps directly into the the bed like yours and of course the cover is missing. I've been going over options from body shop to spray on bedliner to making my own. Thanks for the inspiration.

God told Noah, make that Tonneau cover before it rains....
This turned out great man, deserves more views
Dude, showing a material list will make your video more valuable.
I really like the drum in this music
By "patterning" I think you mean "templating".
Yo that was great.
Awesome

It would be wonderful if you put a project material list with your video.
Great video but I'm not not sure how you actually fastened it to the bed. Riveted snaps?
I did not understand how do you stick the cover to the truck at the end.. What did you use?
And by pattern you failed to say say what the pattern was made from. And most of us do not have a commercial grade sewing machine.
Will you be able to make a cover for a truck that has a sport rack ??
Where did you get the button tool? My truck has a few missing. Thanks!
someday maybe I will be brave enough to try this. love your sewing machine too. will have to share this even if I am 2 yrs late to the show. lol

donde las ases??
Is paterning a word? Idk about that one guy? "
And yet you have no structural support
Is this really secure? A simple pocket knife would defeat this?
It's not meant to be secure, it's meant to keep out rain
How about you slow down a little, this vid didn't help me much, but I can tell you like to sew
This isn't meant to be a step by step guide. It assumes you have some knowledge of sewing.
