I prefer to quarter instead of harvesting guts with the hacksaw. If the wind picks up you can keep your progress when you cancel, and then drink a tea or two to finish. Plus you get the hide(for free on a doe but it does cost 15 extra minutes for the buck.)
True! I hadn't taken into account that it takes the same time to quarter as it does to harvest 2 guts! I guess quartering the ravaged carcasses is something that never really entered my head, for obvious reasons :p
