Yep, this is a "smart" portrait of downtown Princeton. I'm a big fan. Really appreciate places like this that have a lot of history and preserve the architectural styles and the ethos of their colonial past. Well done!
I loved being born in Princeton and raised in Princeton and because of the way I was raised I could stay and retired fromClemson. Plus I got married at the PU CHapel because my Dad Robert Sinkler was an honorary grad of e PU classes. My hometown grad PHS 1968
Lol, I never lived in Princeton, but when I was in high school I was there for speech and debate (national level). The Princeton kids were stuck up at the time and were like introverted nerds. The town had some good restaraunts, but's that's about it. It was way too liberal, cold, and depressing... like the Hogwartz of the Ivy Leagues...
I dont think the students at PU, who are by and large career minded, quite conservative and self absorbed, care to ponder this much, but its not merely that the University is a drag on the Town financially, as PU is a nonprofit and as such pays no taxes. The real issue is much larger than the Town's lack of property taxes due to PU. The real issue is that PU and elites generally are unraveling America financially as the prime backers of 50 years of federal deregulation, income tax inequity and the siphoning off of discretionary spending for the neocon's military empire. The elites that back PU and the PU trains are driving this massive nationwide wealth disparity. But you wont see any hint of this in the Princetonian.
Yea, I was 18 years old on a high school speech and debate trip there.. my friend and I randomly asked Princeton students whart their SAT scores were... every single one of them ignored us... I mean.... get over yourself... it's just two dumbass 18 year olds visiting your university... give them a break.

no one smiles no one says hi or knows where anything they took down everything from Einstein kids look self entitled boring dorky tourist and those are the good parts
Any comment on how a mentally ill man was murdered by the police at Panera right on Nassau St., and the highly educated community chose to pretend that nothing happened?
His family and friends declined to acknowledge it as well, and you're going to peg it on strangers in town? Not to mention, HE HAD A GUN, you dolt. Your generation is so obsessed with blaming EVERYONE else for actions of one individual, yet does NOTHING other than point it out on social media, and that's about it. Get a life.
@@Anthony_2100 He _was_ murdered, and do you mean to suggest they didn't have to care 'cause the victim was from out of town? I am fully aware, by the way, where he was from.

This type of thing is alleged to be the case around the globe, as you know. The world is a hierarchical place, to put it mildly.

They do, they're just not interested in saying hi to people like you. Cope. Or just stay in the Bronx.
