Haha I was on the phone with Brian today, and l asked him how his 6 swap was doing lol..now I see haha
Perfect exhaust note and tone, the possibility of having 08+ drivetrains available to mate really motivates me to want to get back into a GC/GF. I do miss my RSTi, but the timing wasn't quite right. This is giving me mid-life crisis dreams of building an oem+ GF8 USDM STI Wagon
Welcome back OGrsti!!
The bestt
The ever elusive Frank.
Keener!
One car to rule them all!
This is great! Congrats!
Well done! So clean, so jealous.
Woohoo I can't wait to see that in person 😉
Keep up the great work
Well done guys congratulations
It's alive!! Sounds so sexy.
Sounds sooooo gooooooood
This thing is SWEET!
Are you guys running different rails for the STI seats? Mine seem to sit higher than yours in the vid.
We are running the GC seat rails which you can do on the V7 seats.
@@iwiresubaruwiringsolutions5538 awesome info, thanks! V7 STI seats are the bee's knees yo 😂
I was prepared to write a hate speech for you, lance and bucky...however...i will agree on the simplicity and how great a stock turbo car feels. So no hate speech for now lol #H6forlife
I also need a coolant overflow mount. I have an OLD TurboXS overflow bottle, similar to that Cobb bottle, and it just has a piece of angle steel that was notched to fit under the bolt... not even around it, it's just a V-cut in the middle so the bolt can bite it a tad =P Tempted on the MAF adapter, as the 08+ MAF has higher resolution than then 04 I'm on. I'm Speed density now, but would be nice to have a MAF that can handle my Dom 1.5.
We'll be doing something with this shortly so keep an eye out. As for the MAF adapter it's something we could make but I'm not sure how well it'll play with the stock GD ECU even with the calibration.
Hi bro I need help with paint my car is same blue as you
Rally Blue Pearl has the paint code 74F
Can we all have the amazon code for that remote?

I’d love to get in touch with you guys, I’m on my second Subaru, first one being an 04 sti, now a 15 outback 3.6r. I had a baby lol. I want to find out if any sti transmissions directly bolt up to the 3.6r. I’ve already replaced the cvt once. Second one is also slipping. I don’t want to continue to deal with this and if I can manual swap the car. I’ll be much happier with it. Any advice helps. Thanks!
Most of the 3.6R come with an auto trans so the ECU doesn't like the manual sti trans. We'd recommend the facebook group Six Swapped Subarus to find some solutions to your project.
Did you guys ever get the OG through BAR?
Not yet, still working on the finishing pieces so we can go through the process
I'm wondering if I just want to do the engine swap do I need all the other stuff?
short answer - yes. You need the other components to get the engine running in the chassis :)
Whats with the dual clusters?
Due to the immobilizer system running through the cluster we have to run 2 but this will be fixed soon.
I wish yall left the flat-6. Much more unique build. STi swapping isn't anything special. Full twin-turbo build the 3.6L....push it to 1000+ hp & give us the dreams we actually want
The stock H6 was too slow LOL. Built H6 would be super expensive and we'd have to cut up our beautiful chassis which we didn't want to do. Plus CANbus research is way better :)
People definitely don't quite seem to grasp the momentousness of integrating 08+ CANbus engines into an old school harness.
