If I had to guess, either late 1988 or early 1989 for when this aired originally. Barrymore's apparently opened in 1978 (10th anniversary party), though I think CJOH debuted that particular news set in 1989.....
I used go out a lot to live music, and sometimes I had to walk home to Blackburn Hamlet if I missed my last bus from St Laurent Shopping centre because I stayed a tad too late from watching live music at Barrymores, I even did it once in the winter.... not smart LOL
