The video was done in the early 1970s. At 1:05 you could see the old lower south side stands at Lansdowne Park in the background before the upper south side stands were built in 1975.
The boats still operate on Dow's Lake but you don't see anyone swimming in the Rideau Canal. No Rideau Centre back then and the Pretoria Bridge was a pedestrian bridge.
With Terry Bush on vocals! He also recorded the jingle to the Eaton Centre and the theme to Littlest Hobo. It's floating around the Internet somewhere. My grandfather used to sing the song but I don't ever remember him going to the zoo.
@walkertexasranger33 I was going through this, what you said was very true.. Yeah I was born to immigrant parents but I love if it remained like those time, and yes I love that culture. You guys were the ones to accept them in large amounts, atleast now if immigration comes to stop!! ..
