I witnessed everything evolve in Minneapolis. We would play his piano together in his room down at his mom's. Love reading all the beautiful comments about my cousin Prince. Thank you-
"Prince simply was that dude" every woman wanted, every man wanted to be
This was the times when you had real musicians playing real instruments and a real singer singing their song .No need for a backup recording. Real artists got this down pack..
Its easy to see why Rick James was jealous of this little Mf'er... Prince was a powerhouse!
I don't care how many times i watch this - the intro gives me goosebumps every time.
Who wouldn't love to goback and relive the 80"s again? Be a Prince fan all over again and just feel the vibe.
250 million galaxies and we got the one with Prince.
People don't understand how difficult it is for Prince to scream on records and it not sound bad or out of pitch a distinctive vocal range for sure. His lower and upper registry on full display.
his falsetto switch up is lethal.
Never get tired of this song.. I am glad that I lived in the era of the man Prince
Can we all just take a moment and salute our brother Prince for his contribution in this world! RIP BIG BRO!
I still can't believe he's gone.
My mom & dad were 16 year old in highschool when this song came out. I still have the pictures of my dad with makeup on & his hair was like Prince. I'm so glad Prince touched so many lives, even from the early years in his career.
The piano is what I imagine you hear when you're ascending to heaven
OMG!!!! Dez Dickerson and that damn guitar!!!! I swear I watch the intro 10 times over and over again! So damn sensual. ❤️❤️❤️
Mark & Dez are killing it on the background vocals
5 years gone. The musical void he left was staggering.
The sexiest performance ever!
When they announced that he died, my whole world seemed to stop. He came on the scene during my high school years. I love him from the moment I began listening to his music. This song bring back so many memories. The music is timeless. What a pleasure it would have been to meet this artist face to face. Rest in peace, cause you have earned it!! 😭😭😭 What a SEXY man. Performances were on another level. There'll never be another artist of his caliber to come.
Still listening in 2022. Thank you for sharing. I just loved Prince. The man really was a genius.
