What a life and journey bey has lived!!! She is beyond blessed
Maaaaan!!!!!!! I was in Jr high when this aired! It was such a good time in music! Prince, icon! Beyonce now an Icon and legend! She was always so humble and eager to work hard and push and look where she is now! I love this!!!!! Take me back to this time! 😫
OMG YESSS TO EVERYTHING YOU SAID!!
She really met his energy!!! 🥵
Prince wad a true artist, writer, composer, producer and played every instrument.
The real DEAL!
Prince has to be in heaven. His music has a gospel, sanctified, take me to church rhythm in it.
I agree with you. :-) He sings with angels. He is The Angel.💜🌟
Check out his straight gospel. Dawn of the morning comes and walking in glory. He only wrote and recorded gospel songs on Sundays. He kept that day dedicated to God he said
Beyoncé throwing off Tina Turner vibes 👌🏼 I love their chemistry 🔥
Prince hated other people singing his songs.....but I guess Bey gets a special pass!
U might wanna reconsider that observation. I think he was perfectly fine with how Sinead O Connor did Nothing Compares 2 U. And he wrote songs for plenty of people
@@a.taylor8294 He wasn’t.
And Jennifer Hudson too
@@nisha5669 he wasnt please with mariah and shes his friend . He said do you want me to cover butterfly
@@hamzaelaloui2070 mariah never covered his songs
😃😃😃 I like how they was each other back up singer.
And dancer
Right? Two superstars without ego enjoying each others artistry.
2:06 Prince is all....give me that mic little girl😜😍
I miss prince so much ! Beautiful soul ❣️
Beyoncé was very nervous and when she's nervous, she forgets the others around her. lol Prince was so magical, he kept her together.
You can't mess with James Browns goddkids. That's Prince, Michael, and Bey
Hèracles Pirena is that sexism? Or who else should be included???
@@manduul_bat No one. Beyoncé, Prince and Michael are legends and the music speaks for itself. They're God's at what they do.
Tobias Burrell & beyoncé isn’t ?????
@@boob2307 Isn't what?
Tobias Burrell wait this is embarrassing i didn’t mean to reply to you 😭 i meant to reply to the one comment saying beyoncé isn’t one of the best performers & shes insulting to james brown lmfao i’m dumb my badddd
OH so much diva on that stage and I love it!!
Prince was a genius and his vocals omg I love this song and nothing compares 2 you love paisley park aswell and him and beyonce really smashed it with this performance i was lucky to get to see prince in Edinburgh Scotland and the hole concert was fricking great and love the way he always highlights his musicians rip prince xxxx
Beyonce, struttin around the stage with that tambourine like she was at the Holy Ghost Tabernacle Southern Charm Missionary Baptist Church. 💃🏾🎶🎉
Let the church say, "Amen". 🤣🤣🤣
Bahaaa
Hahahhaha
I admire the guitar arrangement over Beyonce´s song! He is the ONE!
Go back to Mexico
I know Prince would be proud of Bey for Renaissance :')
3:20 Beyonce getting strudy😂😂😂😁😁
His presence on stage is so classic. He is pure confidence♡ .... i miss him dearly💜💜💜💜💜
bey the only artist admired by both Michael and prince
When MJ admired bey?
Deniz Yüksel Do your research... Michael is the main one who always admired Bey
@@denizyuksel6600 bitch the shade lol
"admired " is a strong word. They were older, she admired them
Stacy Robinson well both of them were fans of beyonce that's why Prince asked bey to perfom with him and she was shocked
Two icons on level playing fields. Both just doin their thing. No one trying to upstage the other. Prince thought thec world of Bey and was even infatuated with her. JayZ had a bit of a jealous steak and was there during rehearsals...lol. This was the most talked about show among his band.
He could have stolen her from JayZ in a second that's why and JayZ knew a real threat was present.
@@irishcountrygirl78 she couldn't.
Unfortanely Beyoncé loves Jay z too much and it's too loyal to him
Man, I could listen to this forever, what great talent. Feeling blessed to have been part of these two generations.
Beyoncé was so nervous she forgot she was supposed to share the mic with Prince 😭😭❤
Nervous? Where???
What!?! She didn't forget, lol. She yanked it away & hogged the Mike 🎙️
Monie Luvs shut up she was nervous people do things when they’re nervous
And he forgot to share the mic with her at 3:13 for her initial exclamation. I dont think nerves was the issue for Beyonce, it was more she was just caught up in the rush and energy of the performance
@@dawudjibreel6075 no she even stated that she was nervous
During purple rain, Prince like “ bih, you know your gonna hold the mic for me.”
This comment the goat 😂😂😂
Lol
Haha I’m sure it was rehearsed or at least agreed upon.
Corece Smith she never showed up to practice real talk
A man 5’2 that could steal your girl. 🥵
Beyonce did that 👏👏👏👏 Damn I miss Prince 🙏
I know it was memorable for Bey. People can critique it all they want. When you can perform with Legend, it is life changing. I enjoyed it. R.i.P. Prince
Still gives me goosebumps. Prince. THE. LEGEND.💜
The Prince and the Queen Bee! Great medley, poppin' performance! Love you, Minneapolis's own. R.I.P., Beautiful One.
Keep on slayin', Beyonce!
Charlie Murphy said it best.. Prince was incredible..
Legends being legendary
The end was spectacular...❤❤❤ they were great together..😍💜
I'll always say that it was a true testament to Prince that he knew she was really trying to take over the performance, but he was so gracious, such a professional, and gently guided her back to center, and then let her shine. 💜💜
That’s a lie. Where did it say that? He continued to love her even after this.
@@squarcircle2254 what are you talking about???? This is MY perception of the interaction on stage as one who was a performer as well. No one said there was any interview where he said this. Chill out.
Very obvious 🙄
@@HeartofInspiration it is from “personal observances” like yours that people make building falsities about someone.
Damn I didn’t know they performed together. 😩✨
Where have you been?!
utbr01 😎
SWEETIE...GUESS I BEEN LIVING UNDERNEATH A ROCK ALSO 😹MEOW😹
@@phillipswatson3452 WHAT?! Just THE BEST Opening in Grammy history!!! It was hot!! Beys dress from this performance WAS in a museum, don't know if it still is. They were GREAT

OK... I'M AWAKE KNOW 😇DO YOU REMEMBER WHAT YEAR?
I've seen this in 2004 at the Grammy Awards. I'm sure did remember this.💯💜👏🏾👍🏾
Bruh. He just threw the guitar. Legend!
Prince didn't give notice unless real talent. B is Blessed to sing with him.
Always Loved and Remembered ❤
3:20 How the heII was she doing those so quickly and effortlessly
