    I really like the wire guides on the valve covers like that can you tell me where i can find those?

      Hi ZMScott thank you for your comment, they are cool, never seen them anywhere else. They are aluminum welded on to the valve covers, they came on the motor when I bought it.

    How are your plug wire looms attached to the valve cover

      Wow Steve thank you so much for noticing this is Franky your host of OGG, this is one of the things I love about our motor in the CHEVELLE! These Valve covers are very common except the plug wire holders are actually welded to the valve covers. Not so common but really makes engine look clean! I bought them like that with the motor but I have never seen another pair like them! That’s a great question! Please Like & Subscribe if you haven’t already! We have some new videos coming up starting and driving the CHEVELLE for the first time! Wait to you hear it! It’s CrAzY! Sounds just like a RaceCar! 😎👍 496 Stroker 650hp!!

    I put 68198's on my 66 Chevelle SS. Fit PERFECTLY on my 396. Problem is I lunched that motor and ordered a Blueprint Gen VI 496 that has .3" raised exhaust ports. Anyone have any input as to whether the 68198's will fit?

      Sorry Anthony I am not sure! This is Franky your Host of OGG! Let me know how it works out for you when you get your Gen VI 496! What a beast of motor you are going to love it! Way different then the 396!!!

    Good vid guys! I'm installing a new full exhaust on my '67 chevelle. Only had header mufflers on since I had the car. Question is, where are the original locations for the hangers on the back end? I can't seem to figure it out! Thanks!

      Hi Mr. Jackson thank you so much for your comments and watching our channel!! 😊👍. That’s is a real good question we haven’t installed our Exhaust yet either. How soon are you looking to get yours done? We have a few steps on Chevelle before we will be tackling the exhaust to the rear. I believe the original hangers we after the rear end axles extended from the frame. Stay Tuned as we will be getting back on Chevelle Build soon! Thx for watching and Subscribing we really appreciate at It! 😎. Franky from Old Guyz Garage! Happy Building!!!

    Great video.....On the driver's side, did you lower it in from the top, or feed it up from the bottom?

    • @OldGuyzGarage
      @OldGuyzGarage  2 года назад +1

      We put it up from the bottom had to disconnect the steering shaft to get it in !

    I'm facing header clearance issues on a 66 right now. Passenger side. I've tried 2 different headers and still can't get them.

      Hello Derek, what motor is in your 66 and where are you having Clarence issues. Usually passenger side is the easiest since the steering linkage is not over there. Feel free to DM me on Instagram with pics if you like. You may have to get headers specific for your A Body. I got my Heddman Headers at Summit Racing and they fit perfect only issue I had is we added tubular A arms and welded additional mounting brackets for lower A arms which made a little contact however if our build wasn’t a ProTouring Build the Heddman Headers would fit perfect with a big block.

      Can you send a picture of your ground clearance? I have a big block Chevy mark 4 and I got my headers installed but right now I only have 2 1/2 inch ground clearance. Also what is your tire height in the front?
