    They may fit a 66-67 gen 4, but if it is a gen 6 engine ( 427, 454, 502) will need the headmen headers designed for the exhaust ports 1.44 by 1.79. The primary tubes will be 1.75 in O/D. Fit great to block, great on driver side, may need to grind bottom rear lower arm mount point. Great room for oil filter and steering column. Remove steering rod, oil filter, slid in from bottom just fine. Passenger not so much, again need high torque small starter and shorten rear A arm mount location forward to allow room for header tube , ( cut slots in corners of mount , heated and bend toward bolt hole. Bend and weld one or two inches, while making sure clearance remains arm is bushing able to fit to new sizing of said controll arm pocket. ) This will keep a little dimple to header tube, best of luck., my 1967 138 chevelle motor is a gen 6 427 and the headers designed for this engine tuck up nice and high with great clearance just like manifolds and 2 1/2 exhaust.

    I only get about 5 good hard stops off drilled & slotted rotors on my 06 g35 coupe. A cat or squirrel in the road 5 times then the rotors are fully warped usually about 3-6 months since I’m very careful and pretty much never brake hard unless it’s to save a life/my car.

    • @OldGuyzGarage
      @OldGuyzGarage 4 месяца назад

      That’s pretty unusual. Usually vented, drilled and slotted rotors last way longer and warp less frequently so I’m thinking you may have bought some cheap Chinese ones. What brand were you using?

    Hello, I am glad I found this video. I have been having a terrible time trying to figure out which disconnect switch to buy. I don't have a nice hot rod like you guys do, I only have my little 2006 Chevy HHR LT 2.2 and it is giving me fits with a parasitic draw. I know absolutely nothing about mechanics, but I am learning about this anyway. Can you tell me what would be a good disconnect switch for my vehicle. I wanted a remote switch, but they seem complicated. my battery is in the boot also, so that would have made it nice to be remote, but I am tired of dealing with it. My battery says it's a T5 Cold cranking 650 craking 800. It also says some other stuff (EN LBN 2) and (BCI 90) what ever that means. I like the disconnect switch you show here. What kind is it, and where can i buy it, if you think it will work in my car? Thank you in advance.
