0:39 Koniciwa! RUclips sent me your channel and I am pleased to follow you on your travels. Japan holds a very special place in my heart as in my previous life I worked for a Japanese company headquartered at Moriguchi city, Osaka. Japan is definitely on my bucket list for touring and your videos are making me yearn to return to Japan to ride. Thanks for sharing your travels.
Gotta always have rain gear! I normally always have my Columbia rain coat and pants in my bags… not for motorcycles… but if it starts raining.. a quick pull off and it’s large enough that it fits over my winter and summer gear.
Yes, totally right. With this new suit though, no rain gear needed. The Kushitani can practically go through a hurricane, better for how much it cost 🤣.
I did a little tour around Shikoku last October with a friend on a BMW F800 and Honda CB500. Awesome trip! Have so much fun! Looks like you have a lot of riding ahead of you and you've probably seen your fair share of Japanese valleys but... the Iya valley was a highlight of our trip. Incredible.
I'm with you bro! I had the same experience with my gear... I thought my waterproof Alpine Stars Andes V3 Drystar jacket and pants could hold me dry, but heavy rain soaked through. Now I do have a full Goretex Rev' It jacket and pants which keeps me dry and warm in all weather conditions. Well, we all learn the hard way, so to say... part of the adventure experiences. Keep up and ride safe. Looking forward to the next episode!
I wish I had another motorcycle🤣. I’d like a 600-700 platform and a small 150-250, but I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of this bike. It makes me smile too much😁.
I've suffer for upper back and neck problems since 2016, give up long touring for that reason. Had Transalp for many many years.. The key with this kind of problems in my opinion is to not have weight on your shoulders and the back must be vertical and no off-road 😀. .. Cruiser bike is a good option in my condition but i've switched to e maxi scooter and it is good enough for me.
Good idea 👍. There are two solutions to what happened to me: 1) you can simply carry rain gear with you (cheaper alternative, but inconvenient), or 2) spend the money to get really good gear (expensive but much more convenient). I went with 2 because I already have so little space in my luggage. And I don’t want to have to pull over and put on rain gear.

@@advinjapan yeah… I need to lose 20kg to fit into anything from them! lol.,
@RenManinJapan I was shocked too, I’m a M in Japan usually. Had to by LL🤣
A cold / rainy day and a high end bike shop at a service stop.........it was meant to be! ;-)
Hehe, yeah that’s one way to look at it 😉
Looking forward to episode 2. Hope the weather clear up.
Thanks a lot!
Off to a wet start. Looking forward to how your trip continues.
Yeah, it was totally my fault, no rain gear was a no no.
I want to thank RUclips for recommending this video to me, because I totally loved it. Amazing riding vlog. Subscribed and thanks for sharing sir!
Thank you so much. Share the love, that’s how more people like you can enjoy 😃🙏

I have heard of that, beautiful place!
I think it worth it though. Great high quality company

You said it, some things you just can skimp on. Thanks brother!
Great video again. Thanks for your time and the effort you make to put these journeys for us all.🙂😉
Thanks Guy for the support 🙏
@advinjapan No thank you. A glimpse into your life and history of the country. 🫠😉🙂
I watched your video for the first time. It is really good and interesting 😂I’m looking forward to the next video.
Hey, thanks a lot! If you enjoyed this, please watch the Hokkaido series.
Awesome video, thanks bro! Question, at any time did you wish you had a different motorcycle?

Man I’m so sorry about that. Right now the pain is minimal for me but it will get worse. At some point I will be joining you friend, until then? …🤟🏻😈
Good video and subscribed! May i know how do you make the route animation? or which editor you use? TIA!
Hey thanks a lot! For the google maps animation I use Apple Motion. For the other 3D map I use Relive, great app, and cheap too!
After seeing this I think I am going to upgrade my gear.
