麦元滨 What kind of kimchi did you make? If you use chinese cabbage, firstly, sprinkle a lot of salt. Then the osmotic pressure causes the water to drain out a lot. Then rinse well in water, drain and make kimchi. If I make a small amount of kimchi, I put a very simple recipe on my channel. The original kimchi should be made according to the above statement above👍

I made this and now it has fermented! And I also made another batch of the regular vegetarian kimchi, for maybe fifth time since spring. I love your recipes, maangchi! Now I don’t even look at store bought versions.
I prepared this dongchimi , and ate it. The broth is really delicious. Crunchy radish is good. It's help me for the digestion. I feel my stomach better. thank you Maanchi .
I made this with windfall apples, and radish, and it is soooooo good. We have some as an appetizer every lunch. So now the apples are ripe, I made some more and it is even better! I put the spices in the jar, because they sink to the bottom and the soup remains clear.
Although I just started to follow Maangchi's cooking few weeks ago, from her lovely smile and style of handling food, I can sense that she cooks with full passion. I truly enjoy her cooking and it bring joy to me as well! Maangchi, 잘 했어요!

But I'm excited to eventually try the cold soup, I need something refreshing to cool down. I'd love to serve this with some kind of noodle too.

I had boiled chicken ( can't remember the name of the dish but it was soo yuumm, full of flavours! ) one of the side dish they served was this white raddish, chopped like thick match stick, I love it! By the way, the beetroots first need cooking. Usually, we do not peel the beetroots, just good wash, and cooking... After peel and then prep...
