Not a bad little kit for the price. If you are looking for a small portable dual light kit on a budget this could be it. plus with the right adapters and a small portable battery, this could be mounted as a camera light. I've been looking at these lights on and off for a month now, gonna pull the trigger and get them. Lucky for me the price has dropped $20 since you posted this too
Like you, I frequently wear a cap when I'm doing a ZOOM presentation. I was interested to see if these lights would do a good job of neutralizing the shadow from the brim of my cap, and you answered that pretty well at 7:13. I like the fact that these lights have a slider control to adjust the intensity, and the color panels may turn out to be an added bonus. By the way, I did a little stage lighting for the public access TV channel in my city several years ago. My initial thought was that it would be a good idea to use the red filters to bring out the pink tones of the people appearing on camera. To my surprise, I got the best results (and a lot of kudos) when I used a combination of yellow and blue filters. One question for you or anyone else viewing this comment: If you use this type of lighting for a video conference that lasts an hour or two, do your eyes feel any short-term or long-term effects?
yeah not too bad. plus very affordable. pretty sure I'm gonna use them as my portable kit. keep them in one of my bags just in case i need to run and may need some light.
Hey..........I have that EXACT stick............it was cheap and I love it. I have had it for almost a year now and I've had no issues with it. I is a great product for cheap.....therefore......awesome value!!!!! You need to adjust your lights left and right. Seems like your left is brighter than the right side, you must have another light shining on your left. Turn up the right to get rid of the shadow there. Awesome lights though!
@@gregtoope I have to say im pretty impress with the lighting although the tripod is very cheap quality i even swap one of them with a extra tripod i had for cameras.but for 55 bucks you cant go wrong .Defitnly will need a 3 direct above light to remove my shadows for the greenscreen although this is very common in most setups .Im very happy overall for the price.
@@gregtoope for sure! just ordered 3 Neewer 1320 lights last night for my office and will see how those look first before going on a buying spree lol. Trying to adequately boost the brightness of a smaller room that has a glass whiteboard - my bigger lights with softbox dome are just a clutter/pain in the butt to setup/tear down every time plus the reflections are really noticeable on the whiteboard it's self. Love how small and portable all the Neewer stuff is.
Thank you for this review/demo. I've been trying to figure out a new lighting set-up for my own videos, found these lights on Amazon and then found your video. They are currently "in the cart" awaiting purchase. :)
These lights are cool for starters but they can't be run on high for too long or they will burn out. I've had 2 sets burn out after running at 100% for an hour or less. I had them at 100% reflected off of a wall in front of me to diffuse/ soften them a bit more. Each set lasted approximately 5 months. I no longer use these as my main lights.
you could if you were on a budget. You just need to watch your placement. But any light will help. Also depends on the camera you are using and how much control you have of that. But it's a great beginner set. I have a friend that uses these for her recordings and the results are quite good. She just uses them to enhance the natural light that is coming into the room that she is shooting in.
Thanks for the informative review. I'm trying to improve my techniques so I can get more professional looking videos and increase my subscribers and views.
@stevo playz I just got done streaming for 4 hours with the new lights and let me tell you......... game changer. The lights light up the green screen so good. It’s improved the green screen on screen so much! 100% a buy.
@@PwnagexProductionsx Seriously? Okay I'm definitely gonna purchase these as I already have a green screen and have lighting issues. Thank you so much!
I use 2 sets of these for my videos. Some tips: 1. Make some sandbags so the littl tripods dont tip over. 2. I made some extra diffusers to double up the white diffuser out of computer paner. Looks way softer! See how they look here... 3 behind me one in front! ruclips.net/video/IRtJf59PmI0/видео.html
Why don't you just do videos in sign language? You're hands move in an unnatural neurotic manner. Makes me nauseated for sure. I'm wondering if you just want us to see your cute little finger rings.

Do you know what good mounts I can buy tht are much taller then these
Do these overheat? I have a cheap ring light which overheats a lot. I'm looking at these to replace it

I ordered these and they are arriving today.... can't wait to test them out and thank you for doing an "unpack" so now I know what to expect :)
Hope you enjoy it!

Great video, no stupid long intro or hard on the eyes graphics - great job.
Appreciated. Thanks.

Good to know! im constantly moving them around, but limited room to the left and right of me. May look at getting a diffuser to help with the light.
I just bought this exact same set for $41 - Free shipping off of Amazon!
nice. good price.
That is a really good review. Definitely buying these in the UK. Liked and subbed thank you
this is way highter quality than i would expext a channel with your subs to have
Thanks. All channels start out small. We are slowly gaining traction!
Is this a compliment? If so, you are bad at giving compliments.
it's not, I'm just saying

55 bucks in the US My arrive today , Ill have to see if they will do or ill need a brighter solution to remove shadows from my green screen
i would think it all depends on the size of your green screen. Let us know.

They should be fine. For the price its hard to complain about them. I personally use much bigger lights, but also much more expensive.

Hello and hi ya'll. I am interested in the lights. Would the set of three lights properly light a 4'x8' green screen area?
very good video man i was just wondering if these would be good for streaming.
haven't tried, so sadly cant answer. Hopefully someone here knows the answer for you.
