  • Hi everyone! In this video we are going to test the classroom scene using Blender 4.1 alpha to see how the ray tracing option works in real-time. Many of you have asked about crashes when switching to RenderView. This is because the program is still under development and some builds may be unstable. I'm currently using the build released on January 12, 2014, which is working well for me. If you want to try this feature, please use the preferred version. Thank you!

    I hope one day Blender achieved the real-time rendering quality like in those Unreal Engine and Twinmotion. ❤

      By the time it happens, UE probably already invents a whole new 3D feature that changes everything again. So I guess there's no reason not to go to UE if you're into realtime

    Use light probes for light bouncing like Cycles

    Quite nice ..if you adjust some settings,
    Tried with nishita sunsky texture, unfortunately ..no sundisc so you can not get a realistic sunglare, and light intensity in the sunlight doesn´t add to the scene, so you would have to fake it with an
    Additional light, and that is a bit tricky to match.
    Further more, tried to add a volume cube ..for catching sunrays, but won´t work, I believe volumetrics isn´t there yet, though settings are there for it.
    So getting that stuff abouve working, I would be happy :)

    Starting at 1:17, you can see a weird fuzzy light effect. It's the same in UE5 with Lumen. Everything is good, except for this annoying light issue. Hopefully, it gets fixed in the future.

    I just tried this and it was a horrible experience. It kept crashing and in eevee next viewport was too noisy. like dots was everywhere. I couldnt use my prewious works because it crashed when I try to open my works. There was no problem at rendered image but viewport was awful. Did you have any problem?

    • @VFXMastro
      @VFXMastro  8 месяцев назад

      Yes.. in latest build have that problem. Some previous builds works fine for me, and don't use it for projects it's not stable, still under development, use it for experiments..

      @@VFXMastrocant wait to have a stable version of eevee next. Ray tracing actually works great. It is very useful for users who has a bad pc like me. I dont want to wait for hours for a few second animation.

      To be expected, it's still in alpha state
      Plus there's only like 3-4 people working on eevee next
