A point of correction. Carroll's signature with the two dash marks is his original signature. Since his passing, if you get his signature from the Caroll Shelby Foundation, you will get an autopen signature with 3 dash marks along the bottom.
Can’t see spending $40K for these upgrades but everyone of us is different. I do like the seats. Wish our recaro seats were all leather instead of alcantara. Excellent video 👍
Half that can make you push well over 800 loll, you can pay 30k tops here in PA to make a gt500 1000hp, 30k may be pushing it too just depends

I got carbon fiber mirror caps and door handle caps but the sun faded them , does a person have to have them clear wrapped or something , so they don't fade , ???.

I'm not too sure about the 3 stripes under the Carroll Shelby signature. I have a dash plaque on my Shelby with 2 stripes that was signed by Carrell.

I like the package, color's, the hood, and the sound of the GT, it has its own sound, great. But, I don't like the warranty deal, Ford is not covering any motor, tranny, drive train issue's? Bummer, deal breaker.
I think the cost is a bit extreme for what you get especially considering your pissing your warranty away.
Notice the ford vs Ferrari hood. Does the gt ring a bell?.

The owners of the company I work for has 2 of the signature edition gt500's. He actually was the first to do the full raw carbon fiber package in magnetic gray without stripes. #12 of 100 and his wife has the cruise for a cause edition 1 of 100 and 1 of 1.

I like the look but without the oem warranty, this could be a 140k paperweight if it breaks.
I would get the regular trackpack instead.

Love the car, but I love having a Warranty. I don’t have the ability to Trade/Shuffle Cars as you do. I’m 67.5 and not in the best of health. However, I have a 2009 Crystal Red Tintcoat Z51 and a 2022 C8, Red Mist 2LT, GT2 Seats, Z51, Mag Ride, Front Lift, Battery Protection, Contoured Liner Protection Package, Tow Hook (Hopefully never needed) Carbon Flash Painted Mirrors & Spoiler, Standard Wheels.
IMO, it is to date, the GOAT, but soon to probably be replaced by the 2023 ZO6…..
The whole C8 Production Run has had it’s share of issues/problems.
I assume there will be some “growing pains/issues/problems” with a first year production run.
I’m sure the Engine and Drivetrain will be tested by many and it will be interesting to see how the Carbon Fiber Wheels do on the street.
Perhaps you can answer my most puzzling question? Is the ZO6 bottom end “quick, powerful, throw you back into the seat nasty” or is the power band coming into it’s stride at above 5,000 RPM?
I guess I’m asking if I want to take a step up from the 2022 Stingray, is the E-Ray more to the liking of an “Old Straight Line, 60s & 70s Street Racer” over the ZO6 since I most likely will not track the ZO6.
Or, should I be Happy with my 2022 HTC Stingray: Is 495 Horsepower Sufficient for the average getting older guy? Only 758 miles on it.

Rather have the carbon wheels then the Forged. Ford has been building better mustang's then Shelby. This does look really nice I have to admit

@@camonly849Buying a real 'Shelby' never comes cheap. The Shelby GT500 SS, 1000, SS are over 100k new.
Shelby America makes fantastic looking body kits and cosmetics but I'm starting to question their "performance enhancements." It seems like they aren't what they used to be when Carol Shelby was still alive and are charging crazy $$$ for his name instead of the complete performance package.
Firstly I agree with you. He also would roll in the grave to see the GT500 in an automatic. I love the car but I can't get behind this automatic gt500 especially after owning a 2014 gt500 and a 2020 gt

So ya the intake only Jailbreak Charger is barely slower in a straight line. Mustang would dominate everywhere else but at a way higher price and don't invite your friends along. Charger is a better value.

Never, after the 2024 redesign. Expect EV mustangs. The S650 gen will most likely be the last of its kind. Especially with ford investing billions into a EV division aka Ford Blue.
V8s for it will end when the cycle of the s650 is over.

@@redsiifu But it is the basic SAME PRICE as a Tesla Plaid, which has now gone an 8.77 @ 162.5 MPH with a simple computer hack done by a company in Canada. I like the looks of this Mustang, but for performance you would think for the extra $40+K they couldn't find
enough power to pull 1000HP (run exclusively on E85, pullies, even a different cam, drag radials like what came on a Dodge Demon) and it would have to weigh less than the 4800+ pounds a Plaid runs at. BTW, even Dodge now has 807HP in their new wide body line! Bragging rights are still a long way off, although they certainly left the Chevy Camaro in the dust!
I agree, a lot of extra $ for not much more HP. For 42k extra should be 1000 to the wheel!

You'd have to be foolish to void your oem warranty for a Shelby upgrade without them standing behind there upgrades. I always assumed Shelby had some sort of warranty on there work. Rip off anyway...
Is it worth the Price ? As a current S550 GT owner I have to say it’s absolutely 100% not worth a penny over $65K. Folks, no vehicle unless your looking exotic is worth over $65K.
Hey Phenom, You got that Carroll Shelby signature thing totally backward. Genuine HAND Signatures have the TWO hash marks in the line under the signature. Auto-pen mechanical signatures have THREE hash marks on the line under the signature.
In cases like the emblems on the side of the car, that is obviously not a hand signature, so it can replicate the real thing. Why would the replicate a replicated signature? Come on. You should know better.
Bad Ride I can’t Lie, But the Base GT 500 cost over a 100K is way overpriced, so this EDITION pricing is IS INSANELY RIDICULOUS. The Pricing totally killing it for me..

Shelby are the biggest ripp offers and hold no value that you would expect from a such a name! A pully for extra hp costs near to nothing and carbon hood 2k some badges and some seats a set wheels 3k and some suspension 3k for how much? What a rip off! You sell it you won't get a dollar back of that money spent! And loose warranty 😂🤣😂🤣 who in there right mind would spend all that cash for 50 extra hp and loss of warranty!!!
