TFS are true fans. They are perfectly happy with pointing out stupid stuff: "Do you know what a minute is?" But the Great scenes - they have made better, with Gohan's SS2 Transformation being the single greatest change they have ever written/voice acted.
"And besides Jimmy what did I tell ya? It's all just a bunch of tricks." I love this line and I feel it gets overlooked because of everything else being so good this episode
There's a line he says in the next episode that makes him even an even better character Jimmy asks him what's going on and he says that cameras busted right and the cameraman goes yeah then he says I have no fucking idea 😂 Man is a showman first and a regular dude 2nd
The music and delivery, to me anyway, implied that he knew for a while it wasn't tricks and he was just trying to calm Jimmy, Larry, and the world. But I'm also a sucker for that heroic subterfuge so I'm maybe I'm reading more into it than is there
Exactly. The point is that while yeah, it’s awesome (top 3 DBZ moments of all time level awesome), it’s not merely supposed to be that. On a deeper level, even TFS noticed this because Gohan voices this portion of Ep 60. Why? Because his childhood dies when he snaps. His innocence and ideals of pacifism officially die here (before apparently unlearning this lesson but that’s a spoiler for another time). It’s supposed to be a coming of age moment and while you’re happy that he’s now transitioned into being more mature, you gotta be a bit sad that he was forced into this by having people get hurt and die.
@@WafleEnterprises and there's even more to it than THAT haha Goku was never actually the MC of DBZ, it was Gohan. "Day of Fate ~Spirit VS Spirit~" has been a permanent addition to my playlists since this episode dropped, it's so fucking good and just makes the SSJ2 transformation scene perfect.
I bet Cell giving speedrun birth in front of a bunch of people and then sending his children to fight against the planet's strongest fighters in order to get a child angry enough to fight him seriously wasn't on many people's bingo cards. But here we are.
That song during Gohan's transformation is the same one used in the original series, and I'm so glad TFS did that. Such a powerful song for that moment.
The best thing about Gohan's scream is all the work and takes that poor Masako went through to get it just right. Apparently they just went with the first take but it shows how seriously they take their craft and how dedicated they were. And it was amazing.

The quit while you are ahead line is one of my absolute favourites in the series. Was fun to see you appreciate it so much too. Most react channels seem to either miss the pun or just not find it funny, as they mostly just ignore it
One of the coolest details of Gohan's SS2 transformation is his tears flowing upwards and dissipating into his aura. Gohan in that moment reminds me of an old excerpt that reads; “The most terrifying force of death comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. The moment the Men who wanted to be left alone are forced to fight back, it is a form of suicide. They are literally killing off who they used to be. Which is why, when forced to take up violence, these Men who wanted to be left alone, fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives. They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror. TRUE TERROR will arrive at these people’s door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy… but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the Men who just wanted to be left alone."
I love how after telling goku off piccolo takes off his kape and turban. He's getting ready to jump in and save his boy knowing damn well he stands no chance 😢

Gohan, as he was at the start of this episode, was certainly no coward. He just hadn't quite internalized that there was no way to resolve this peacefully, because Cell really was going to kill just to kill. Gohan wanted there to be some other way, and with 16's death he finally understood there couldn't be.
One of the best episodes of both versions of the show. Gohan ascending was a massive moment and I would highly suggest listening to the full version of the song that played, its an incredible cover by the 4* group.
I think the reason Gohan just broke when Android 16 died, is because he knew that the Dragon Balls couldn't bring him back...ever. He's pure machinery. He's not organic. And the fact that 16 was actually the only one who could get through to Gohan in that moment made the implication all the more impactful. A true tragedy that practically destroyed Gohan...and most likely, given the boy's sweet nature...he probably thought it was all his fault that he never did anything to stop it. You could actually see 16 was represented by a glowing bird in Gohan's eyes, as he realizes all of this. And now that Gohan finally and truly broke, Cell's not going to like what's going to come next. Trust me, guys, it's going to get disturbing next episode. I truly feel sorry for our poor boy Gohan.
Goku has a fair point, he’s not going to be around forever, there might be a fight he won’t come back from and someone needs to carry on when he’s gone.
The gohan transformation is the best anime moment ever. Its him losing his innocence and becoming a man. The tears washing away and him getting intense is exactly that.
Yeah, Goku acts the way he does not because he is stupid or an idiot, it's because he just does not care. If it's not having to do with fighting or getting stronger, Goku will not go out of his way to learn anything or gain any social skills. If it wasn't for Bulma and Yamcha, then Roshi, then Chi Chi, Goku would have never learned any social etiquette or book smarts at all. Goku is a extremely intelligent man. It's easy to forget he is because of his carefree and childlike attitude, but his planning and outsmarting is what has kept him alive against so many stronger opponents. His plans have a near 100% success rate.
I think most people are taking that word "coward" in this instance the wrong way. Gohan is a kind soul with unimaginable power all things placed on him from the day he was born. He knows he can hurt and even kill someone but he would just rather not. 16 was pointing out that he gets it but it's the fear of becoming everything he hates that frightens Gohan right up to the point that he would allow someone like Cell to run free. That's where his cowardice comes from. Goku's belief in his son (yes Goku truly did believe in his son) wasn't enough because Goku didn't understand that passive side of Gohan 16 had to point out the hypocrisy that Gohan had on display. Gohan is by far the most relatable character in the entire series. Sorry for the long comment 🤣🤣🤣.
Love your videos so much! Gohan's transformation is the most memorable event in all of Dragon Ball for me. When I was just a kid, it took me by complete surprise lol. I still rewatch the scene on RUclips from time to time.

Guys. It’s called an opinion. Learn what it means. If you prefer the original, that’s totally fine. I prefer this version. Which doesn’t mean I think the original is bad.
Good God some of you don't know what an opinion is. If the person says they think it's better you literally have no say in the matter. So yall saying no the original is better is worthless. That's what it means to have a subjective opinion 😒
16s speech is a bit different in the original. He is less targeting, like calling gohan a coward, etc. Instead he appeals to gohans love of life more. It's interesting because he's literally an unfeeling android, but he would do anything to protect the life around him. 16 is motivationwise the closest character to gohan, but polar opposite when it comes to initiative. The dichotomy is why his death has any emotional weight at all. We basically see a proto gohan crushed to death unceremoniously and that's why it's so powerful
Those cosplays are beautiful. Edit: I haven't seen anyone point this out, but in Episode 38, when noticing that 16 is a ginger, 18 says "There's a soulless machine joke there, but that's beneath me." And then Cell makes that joke.
Can’t believe it’s already been a little over a year since this video came out. Feels recent when I was enjoying this reaction after it came out. Time sure does fly by.
To this day, gohan going ssj 2 still my favorite scene, by far, in both the original and the abridged. They really did a great job at both making it funny and keeping it amazing
Gohan is a Born Healer. Who doesn't Want to hurt. But if you know how to Heal, you know what it takes to Damage. "This World has Hurt me. Therfore I will hurt others" Cell "the world has hurt me, I'll make SURE it hurts No One else.." Gohan.
Fun fact: While it may not be obvious, Gohan has just unlocked a brand new transformation called Super Saiyan 2. It’s the next level fully above Super Saiyan. While Super Saiyan multiplies the user’s base power by a factor of 50, Super Saiyan 2 multiplies the user’s base power by a factor of 100. This is a huge increase in power for sure, but it wouldn’t be the last transformation in the series. Not by a long shot.
You two are just among my favorite people on the internet. I don't think I've actually made sure to watch every episode of DBZA with any other reactors. Can't wait to go onward to kai
To be honest, Cell's speech and then 16's speech is the thing I liked least in all of DBZA. It makes zero sense. Since when has Gohan EVER been a coward? Afraid? Yes. But coward? Never . He literally volunteered to fly to an alien planet to bring his friends back to life. Gohan has ALWAYS been willing to fight to protect the people he cares about and for what he believes in. It's true that he doesn't like fighting but that doesn't mean he won't when he has to. Gohan's great fear is losing control, that if he lets go he'll become a monster. It's true that he doesn't want to kill, even Cell. That doesn't mean he won't if pushed. and he isn't afraid to fight, he's afraid that if he's pushed too far he won't be able to stop fighting. He's afraid of himself. That's a completely different idea to what Team Four Star presents here. Also, for the record, I know I'm probably in the minority here but I prefer Gohan's Anger to Day Of Fate. Sue me. 🤣
Also, part of why 16's death triggered Gohan: 16 was a thoughtful philosophical creature, had no interest in harming anyone (EXCEPT GOKU!) and was completely incapable of hurting anyone at the end. Cell destroyed him simply because he could, for fun, and as a rejection of his gentle nature. It's one thing when fighters die in battle; they're dying as they lived., and it's sad, but it's fitting. But murdering an innocent just to show contempt for innocence ... ? I get why Gohan snapped.
Man TFS really do love DBZ. You can tell in moments like when Gohan let's loose. That's love. So my only problem with this plot point, and it exists in the source material, is that Gohan has never been a pacifist or afraid to fight. In the Saiyan Saga, he was willing to fight Nappa and Vegeta by the end. On Namek, Gohan literally attacked Dadoria to save Dende. He fought Recoome despite knowing he couldn't win. He fought Freeza. You can argue that he was forced to fight in those situations, but how is that any different from now? He's being forced to fight. Up until this point, no one can beat Cell. This is the first time he's been the one that everyone was depending on. If the plot point was that he was faulting under pressure, that would make sense. But he's basically refusing to fight. Either because he's a pacifist or because he's afraid of his own power. If memory serves, Mistare Fusion brought up how this comes out of nowhere. Even to the audience Gohan has never been unwilling to fight since the Saiyan Saga. Don't get me wrong. I love this part of the story. It's a highlight for Dragon Ball. But that doesn't mean it's perfect or that I don't see problems.
When you both check out the official Dragon Ball series after you finish DBZA, I hope you watch OG Dragon Ball in addition to finishing DBZ and watching Super: OG DB has a comedic tone more in line with DBZA (though less adult humor, obviously) and a LOT of people skip it despite it and DBZ originally being written as one narrative. Of course, it makes sense to go from finishing DBZA to resuming DBZ from where DBZA ended first, but after DBZ, you should consider OG Dragon Ball before starting Super (or watching Battle of Gods, rather, since Super's first two arcs are just worse retellings of the Battle of Gods and Revival of F movies)
Even though Team Four Star makes it a joke, Goku isn't a bad father. He was dead and Piccolo trained Gohan for a while as a kid, that's all it stems from. Piccolo is only like 3 years older than Gohan so he's like his older brother in all honesty
"It's just the Vegeta talking baby!" That line you said for some reason made me laugh harder than it probably should have lol. We (royal) have been waiting for this! So excited we're here and this rollercoaster is going to be bananas!
In the original, Sixteen says (I'm paraphrasing this): "It is not a sin to fight for justice, it is a good deed. Remember that will be enemies who won't cease by talking them out of it. Gohan, protect the all living things in this world that I came to love so much. I leave it to you." but this speech in my opinion surpassed the original.
It is not a sin to fight for the right cause. There are those who words alone cannot reach. Cell is one of those. Please Gohan save the world I love. You have the power, my computers sensed it
Just a fun fact in the original goku knows what gohan likes. Its just he never realixed gohan dislike fights. Goku grew up fighting..so whrn gohan did the same without complaings goku imagined it was the same. If you look back Goku almost was never at the moments that gohan panicked while fighting
Gohan's fury appears brings with the new phase of the super syajin phase 2 this phase is distinguished by having an electrical aura and slight increase in musculature
The talk at the end really hit hard for me. I’ve lost my relationship with the person I’ve spent other half of my life with, and we lost ourselves through the lack of communication. I feel empty without him, and he’s moved on to another, but now after hearing what went really wrong has shown me what I need to work on in my future. Also beautiful opening, I’m so excited to watch the next 2 parts with you guys.
Piccolo's "Gohan..." is basically the exact same as the English Funimation dub. TFS always does such a fantastic job hitting the serious points just exactly right.
The tone of 16's speech to Gohan was very different in DBZ. It was much more empathetic to Gohan's point of view rather than the verbal smackdown shown here, though it still carried the same core message: sometimes, you just have to fight for what's right.
Something I genuinely love about reaction channels like yours and Blind Wave for example, is that you don't just react and leave. You discuss it afterwards. It's so much fun, and interesting even, to see you pick up on some of the moments from the video.
For those of you in Highschool back in 2003, the Linkin Park references are from all the AMV’s synchronized to Gohan’s transformation. Some of the better ones use footage from Bajak Unbound which also has Gohan epically turning SS2. Great now I’m at work so gotta fire up Tenkiechi 3.
It's crazy cuz I for some reason went really hard at the gym today, and I actually set a lot of PRs and reached my limits and went even further beyond them, surprising even myself and had fun doing it too and everything was perfect, sure regrets I've had a few but then again too few to mention, but I was just feeling really pumped up and hyped for seemingly no reason, and I'm rarely that way these days. It all started when I put the music player on my phone ln shuffle, and it played Unmei no Hi(look it up if you don't know what that is you're welcome btw). I downloaded that song a while ago(the original Japanese version), and this is my first time listening to it in a long time, and it was just a surreal experience. Then I come home and take a shower and get lunch and just before I go to sleep I see this video in my recommendations. Absolutely incredible. The rest of the day wasn't that great, but I mean it wasn't really that bad either. It's just that this and the latter half of my day went so well(and it's been a while since I've had a good day, I actually can't even remember, now you might think this guy's going crazy over trivial stuff, but hey man, it really is just the simple things in life y'know ), so the latter half was so good to the point where if everything was a movie and we were all the characters, today would be my episode.
May be controversial, but Gohan’s transformation at the end of this episode is my favorite version. Even more than all of the official versions. Masako’s scream, the song, 16’s speech, all of that combined made this version Perfect(pun intended😉) for me.
I really like the lines from Jimmy Firecracker about the Cell Jr's, he keeps using the same letters to start each word to define them and I love it.. Chilling Children, Terrifying Toddlers!, Prepubescent predators!
When this episode first drop, long time DBZ fans lost it at the transformation scene, as TFS did something some of us had never thought would happen. Funimation did their own score for Gohan's transformation to Super Saiyan level 2, but what TFS did was create an English translation version of the original Japanese score for the scene, which is a really emotionally moving moment of the series. TFS played this whole moment really close to the original, but somehow gave it even more heart.
One of the most awesome parts about this episode is that they got someone to sing a english translated version of the OG song used in the Jpn episode of Gohan's transformation into a SS2. Augh and it was done so so so well

TFS are true fans. They are perfectly happy with pointing out stupid stuff: "Do you know what a minute is?" But the Great scenes - they have made better, with Gohan's SS2 Transformation being the single greatest change they have ever written/voice acted.
note both Bulma and Goku perfectly guessed the screw up. Both are the oldest members of the group
"And besides Jimmy what did I tell ya? It's all just a bunch of tricks."
I love this line and I feel it gets overlooked because of everything else being so good this episode
There's a line he says in the next episode that makes him even an even better character
Jimmy asks him what's going on and he says that cameras busted right and the cameraman goes yeah then he says I have no fucking idea 😂
Man is a showman first and a regular dude 2nd
yeah i always wished they didnt undercut it with some fairly weak jokes before and after, because its actually a really good line.
The music and delivery, to me anyway, implied that he knew for a while it wasn't tricks and he was just trying to calm Jimmy, Larry, and the world. But I'm also a sucker for that heroic subterfuge so I'm maybe I'm reading more into it than is there
The Gohan transformation always brings tears to my eyes man. Every. single. time.
Everytime.
@@WafleEnterprises and there's even more to it than THAT haha
Goku was never actually the MC of DBZ, it was Gohan. From him showing deep potential to finally realising that potential, against an opponent that is literally made up of every powerful fighter BUT him (look it up), made for a powerful payoff after so many episodes.
Same and that music, the original score, just really drives it home. TFS truly became masters of their craft.
@@NIKEONXX Well no, it's the Buu saga that de-MC'd him lol
Throughout DBZ though, if you think about it, it's always cantered around Gohan.
"Day of Fate ~Spirit VS Spirit~" has been a permanent addition to my playlists since this episode dropped, it's so fucking good and just makes the SSJ2 transformation scene perfect.
But which version? English, Japanese, Metal...?

@@Sephiroth144 Yes.
I bet Cell giving speedrun birth in front of a bunch of people and then sending his children to fight against the planet's strongest fighters in order to get a child angry enough to fight him seriously wasn't on many people's bingo cards. But here we are.
That’s a sentence
That song during Gohan's transformation is the same one used in the original series, and I'm so glad TFS did that. Such a powerful song for that moment.

The song at the end is a English cover of the song that played in the original Japanese dub of DBZ, called Day of Fate; Spirit vs. Spirit.
The best thing about Gohan's scream is all the work and takes that poor Masako went through to get it just right. Apparently they just went with the first take but it shows how seriously they take their craft and how dedicated they were. And it was amazing.
They truly care about the work and it shows 🤩
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 The song playing is "Unmei no hi - Tamashii vs tamashii" (Spirit vs Spirit) Hironobu Kageyama
The English DUB ruined This scene with Gohan -
TeamFourStar RESPECTED the Japanese Dub with this proper tribute rendition - its probably my favorite song in the franchise
This was the best supersaiyan transformation in the series
Gohan transforming into Super Saiyan 2 will always be one of the best and emotional moments in the franchise. I'm glad Team 4 star chose to make an English cover of the song that was played during the original Japanese version. Love the cosplay guys!! Fun fact: In the original Japanese version, when Gohan screams, you can hear the roar of the great Saiyan ape or Oozaru in the background.
Didn't know about the Oozaru scream in the sub. That's actually really awesome because it ties in with another comparison a RUclipsr mentioned comparing Gohan against Cell to Kid Goku vs King Piccolo
@@ninjaboy4831 That's actually a good comparison. As for the Oozaru scream, you can definitely hear it in the original Japanese Z dub. They turn the Oozaru scream way up in Kai.
@@painebatke9144 You're right! The original one had a demonic echo to it when Goku screamed. It would have been cool to see Team Four Star add the Oozaru scream but it still came out fantastic!!
Gohan transforming into SS2 is still my favorite anime moment. Ever since i was kid til now at almost 30 i still get teary eyed
Nice! That cosplay is amazing!
Kens hair is astounding! Great job on the wig! The Bulma cut is on point too!
I'm glad you both are finally getting to see the end. I remeber having to wait an entire year to see this episode, the wait was agonizing!
But boy oh boy, do the next 3 episodes deliver! Enjoy!.
Oh and the Cake reference, its a VERY old Anime meme from the days of old school fansubs.
A group did the Death Note fansub and had this
'all according to keikaku
(Keikaku means plan)'
and it has been memed into everything.
Fun fact: The Cell Jrs (except Vegeta Jr. Jr.) are all named after the voice actors Cell has had over the years:
Norio Wakamoto (Japanese Dub)
Dameon Clarke (Funimation Dub)
Travis Willingham (Videogame Dub)
Curtis Arnott “Takahata101” (Abridged Dub)
Dale Wilson (Ocean Dub)
Jonathan David Cook (Animaze Dub)
This episose is unironically one of the best dubs of this scene. Also, can't wait for Hellsing abridged, easily one of my favorite shows.
There is much more content out know, if you want and have time to come back its not wasted
I love how after telling goku off piccolo takes off his kape and turban. He's getting ready to jump in and save his boy knowing damn well he stands no chance 😢
Alternatively, he was about to give Goku a much overdue beat down before they all die. And ya know Goku was tired, so maybe he stood a chance…
@@jackjacques7495 did you like your own comment?
@@jackjacques7495 dude, I’m just here for entertainment. My knowledge of dragonball lore honestly ain’t that deep. Sorry if I offended you.
@@jackjacques7495funnily enough, Goku is really not an exemplary father, but hey, the only options here are:
1 Gohan fights for real and beats Cell
2 Cell murders everyone(even if they all fought togheter would be hopeless)

I clap in awe at that whole intro segment, you guys pretty much nailed the suits and attitudes of Vegeta and Bulma!
Can’t wait for part 2!
They somehow made Vegeta's hairline more worse and made his forehead bigger, that's just impressive
Ok, I love that opening!
TFS said you couldn't make Gohans ss2 transformation funny. so they didn't even try. excellent choice by them.
I only just noticed how Gohan's tears are falling upward after he finally transforms. Much symbolism. Very psychology.
Gohan, as he was at the start of this episode, was certainly no coward. He just hadn't quite internalized that there was no way to resolve this peacefully, because Cell really was going to kill just to kill. Gohan wanted there to be some other way, and with 16's death he finally understood there couldn't be.
I like the Linkin Park lyrics mixed in with Cell and Gohan talking.
That cosplay is beautiful. Also I'm so glad we have been able to share this journey through dragonball with you.
Omg the cosplay!!! This has been a fun journey with you both.
When I first saw this episode and saw Gohan transforming at the end, the only thing I thought was "When those tears are gone, Cell is going to die."
Love your videos so much! Gohan's transformation is the most memorable event in all of Dragon Ball for me. When I was just a kid, it took me by complete surprise lol. I still rewatch the scene on RUclips from time to time.
Fun fact: each Cell Jr. was named after one of Cell's many voice actors:
Norio Wakamoto (Original Japanese)
Dameon Clarke (Funimation Dub)
Travis Willingham (Video Games)
Curtis Arnott (Team Four Star)
Dale Wilson (Westwood Dub)
Jonathan David Cook (Animaze Dub)
The sole exception being Vegeta Jr., Jr., who was named after a Saibaman that was destroyed by Vegeta in Season 1.
16's speech is probably my favorite part in this entire series.
One of the best moments, not just in anime, but television history. So iconic.
I still get emotional when Gohan powers up at the end of this episode. It's so perfectly done, even better than in the original
Just barely though, like 0.000000001% better. They're both INSANELY good
No , yall are always exaggerating
The original's is still better
lets not go crazy here Its no where near better than th og but they did do good😂
That message from 16 reminds me of a line from the Street Fighter movie. Where a character says: "When good men do nothing, that is evil enough."
watching this show with you guys every week for the past couple of months has been a pleasure
"The only thing necessary for evil to triumph in the world is that good men do nothing" is always going to be relevant.
Ken in that Vegeta outfit is... idk 🤣
Also, Cell Jr's names are all the names of the voice actors for Cell. Curtis is Takahata101, the Abridged voice.
Those cosplays are beautiful.
Edit: I haven't seen anyone point this out, but in Episode 38, when noticing that 16 is a ginger, 18 says "There's a soulless machine joke there, but that's beneath me."
And then Cell makes that joke.
Can’t believe it’s already been a little over a year since this video came out. Feels recent when I was enjoying this reaction after it came out. Time sure does fly by.
I already almost cried at the beginning this was an amazing journey thank you I'll still be here waiting for more from you
To this day, gohan going ssj 2 still my favorite scene, by far, in both the original and the abridged. They really did a great job at both making it funny and keeping it amazing
Gohan is a Born Healer.
Who doesn't Want to hurt. But if you know how to Heal, you know what it takes to Damage.
"This World has Hurt me. Therfore I will hurt others" Cell
"the world has hurt me, I'll make SURE it hurts No One else.." Gohan.
Cell said he was 6 lol, Also there was a Sonic Spring sound effect 😂
They laughed at the "he's eleven" so hard them missed Cell snap back with "I'm six!"
That song was originally Japanese only in dragonball z but this gag dub did a serious English version for thr fight. Next level shit
And when I say Japanese only I don't just mean it was left untranslated, it straight up wasn't in the english dub at all.
God I had forgotten how epic this episode was...
Even though Team Four Star makes it a joke, Goku isn't a bad father.
He was dead and Piccolo trained Gohan for a while as a kid, that's all it stems from. Piccolo is only like 3 years older than Gohan so he's like his older brother in all honesty
Ever since I started watching you guys react to abridged, I've been waiting for this episode. Gohan snapping still gives me tears.
Been watching for a while now, the first part of ep 60 coming out on my birthday is a pretty cool gift
Gohan never felt like a pacifist. He just didn't like to fight, not that he thought it was wrong.
Aw man, what an intro! The cosplay and acting! This is how you entertain!
"It's just the Vegeta talking baby!" That line you said for some reason made me laugh harder than it probably should have lol. We (royal) have been waiting for this! So excited we're here and this rollercoaster is going to be bananas!
God this channel makes me feel at home. I hope y’all never stop.
I love that they gave this moment its due. Easily one of the best moments in Z
“That’s the Vegeta talking, baby.” Well done, sir!
This transformation is easily one of the best moments in anime history.
You have the power, my computers sensed it
Behold, the level beyond that of a Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2!
Just a fun fact in the original goku knows what gohan likes. Its just he never realixed gohan dislike fights. Goku grew up fighting..so whrn gohan did the same without complaings goku imagined it was the same. If you look back Goku almost was never at the moments that gohan panicked while fighting
6:59 The squeak everytime😂 like father like son, also love those cosplays, they look so good!
That intro was insane!😂 This has been an amazing journey with you guys. Glad DBZA brought me by
Something I genuinely love about reaction channels like yours and Blind Wave for example, is that you don't just react and leave. You discuss it afterwards. It's so much fun, and interesting even, to see you pick up on some of the moments from the video.
Oh WOW, they gave this the FULL treatment from the intro to the cosplay haha
Kudos =)
Edit: Awww i think they missed the "I'm 6" line lol
Mr satan has two voices. The natural voice we get to see in this episode, and his wrestler voice. It's a nice touch.
TFS played this whole moment really close to the original, but somehow gave it even more heart.
then later brought in Gohan's Anger
The quote you're thinking of is we must all fear evil men but there is one thing that we fear most and that is the indifference of Good Men
One of the most awesome parts about this episode is that they got someone to sing a english translated version of the OG song used in the Jpn episode of Gohan's transformation into a SS2. Augh and it was done so so so well
Now there comes an ascended super Saiyan in picture
Or as officially dubbed by Goku as super Saiyan 2
And like TFS Goku said, he is a super duper saiyan
This has been so fun. I'm sticking with you guys for more after DBZA completes.
