Florida May 2023 DAY 5- Hollywood Studios, Rise of the Resistance evacuation & Target Supermarket!

- Join me and Laura for an action packed first day in Orlando! Starting at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for when the park opened. We rode Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror and also enjoyed a Woody’s Lunchbox toastie. We also had our first ever Disney World ride evacuation on Star Wars Rise of the Resistance.
Before heading home for a chill at the Villa we head to Target Supermarket for a look around and to buy some drinks and American snacks!
After such an action packed busy day we round off the vlog with a Chilli’s Mexican Bar & Grill for dinner!

I’m re watching this series and I actually got so scared of going on tower of terror that when it got to the point to get in the lift I freaked and had to end up going down in the actual staff lift😂🙈 I was a teen but didn’t know what come over me…… so embarrassing!

First day we was up
Early for MK.
But mostly we was up around 8:30/9pm.
No traffic for us as we just used the sky liner from pop century.

Yes for us personally hollywood is not a full day park day in our opinion. On a hollywood day we get up more leisurely and head to park like you have about 10ish. You must do with disney what suits you/the family.. We personally would always go to the other parks for opening times, but Hollywood's different for our family.
With disney no right or wrong way to do it, just enjoy and do whats suits you/the family.

Yes Andrew and Laura, 10am is a late start for Florida. When we have been it's usually up for 6.30AM and out for breakfast by 7AM. Enjoy the rest of your holiday and have lots of fun. ❤ xx

When you are there with 3 kids , no chance of getting to the parks before 1030. When your on holiday time goes out the window, we just go when we are ready usually between 10:30 and 11.

Great vlog really enjoying them! I always chuckle when I see the tower of terror, I went when I was about 12 and I got too scared in queue and cried my eyes out and wanted to get off! The staff had to take me down in a lift which I refused to get in at first as I thought it was the ride 😂 I’ve never actually been back on it after that! I might have to finally give it a go 😅

Like yourselves I really hope they never change the tower of terror, it’s my favourite ride. Seeing what they did with the ones in Paris and Disneyland and more marvel makeovers it just doesn’t fit. An original ride that’s now iconic and could easily still be fun in 50years time.

Hi guys. Love your vlogs . We were at Epcot on memorial weekend Saturday. It wasn’t too bad and we did expect it to be busier . Back home now and so fed up got the Florida blues x

The traffic you ran in to on your way in to HS was due to the Worlds Cheerleading championship that is held at ESPN wide world of sports complex. It can get crazy around there. Loved the vlog thanks for sharing the fun. :)

To your question about getting up, I like to get up about 6am with a couple if coffees around the pool ( for me it's the best time of day in Florida), but have to say the longer the holiday goes on, the more i need an xtra bit of time to get up, definitely takes it out of you.

My husband and I don't rush on our trips. I have to get up early everyday for work. I'm not getting that early on vacation. 😂 If we don't make it on an attraction, we'll try again on the next trip.

We were there June last year and it was non stop we were up and out by 6.30-6.45 most day , had breakfast at I-hop or Denny’s then head over to a park , absolutely loved it even though it was so intense . Loved watching your vlogs they have been so helpful and actually you said about where you purchased your parks tickets from Orlando attraction tickets , which we have used them this time also so good to know they are a good reliable company 👍🏻

10 o'clock thats half a day lol plus as you seen the car queues are far worse
I love the Tower of Terror. The Paris one is still the same classic, it's Disneyland in Anaheim which they've changed to Guardians Mission Breakout. I've heard it's really good and funny, but hope they don't change any more of them.

@@TheKnightStrider It's the only Tower I've done, cos my only visit to Hollywood Studwas one half day in 2009. No time to do even quarter of the stuff I wanted to do. Saving for a 2025 trip- Epic Universe looks nuts!!!!
