FLORIDA TRAVEL DAY! Disney World & Universal Orlando 2024- Aer Lingus MAN to MCO Airport ☀️ ✈️🇺🇸

- FLY TO FLORIDA WITH US! Join me and Laura as we fly to Orlando Florida with Aer Lingus from Manchester Terminal 2 on flight EI35 on the Airbus A330-330 aircraft!
We show our full Journey, starting with Manchester Terminal 2, giving some tips and pointers and showing what food and restaurant options there are in Terminal 2. We have a wonderful breakfast in San Carlo restaurant, watching the planes go by with a view of the runway. We then board our Aer Lingus Airbus A330-300 Aircraft, where we have extra legroom seats on the emergency exits. We were very impressed with the service and the food on board was fantastic! The entertainment, movies and TV onboard were also brilliant with a very wide selection available!
After a pleasant 8 hour 50 minute flight we touch down at Orlando International Airport Terminal C. After collecting our luggage and clearing USA immigration we head to pick up our rental cars. After picking up our Alamo Hire Cars, we head to our AirBnB villa in Kissimmee to check in and drop off our bags.
We then all get into the Disney World Spirit and head to Hollywood Studios park for a few hours in the evening. We ride Toy Story Mania and Tower of Terror, whilst also enjoying a Starbucks for an energy boost!

Guys you should try st Augustine it's not too far from Orlando it's America's oldest city there's a castle there and amazing scenery the first Spanish explorers landed there back in the 16th century it's a change from the theme parks I have family all over Florida and I've spent several months there enjoy the sunshine state😂

Like you Andrew i break the trip down into chunks , and if honest only happy when I’m sat on the plane , it feels real then lol, plus looking forward to the ‘Orlando Smell’ as you always point out as you head to pick the hire car up , same when we come to Tenerife , as you come off the plane , you get the Tenerife smell 😀

Soo excited for this trip. I was really hoping you'd be on a Florida holiday soon. My favourite part was going to Hollywood Studios. That was our family tradition, first park (and last)was always Hollywood Studios and first (and last) ride was always Star Tours...Brings back wonderful memories. Hopefully I'll go back with grandchildren (when they arrive). Enjoy every moment, have a great family adventure. Can't wait for the next instalment.

Brilliant travel day Andrew. Please never stop doing these Florida vlogs, I’ve watched everyone for the last few years. It really keeps me going until I get to visit again, sadly not in 2024 but planning a trip for epic universe in 2025. I agree also I really hope they never replace or update tower of terror, it’s my absolute favourite ride at Disney.

How did you find the food on Aer Lingus compared to other airlines?
We were made up to finally see ya go to 7eleven, we always say why have ya never mentioned it. It was the first place we went when we went to Florida 12 years ago and we loved it from then on. 🎉

An hour before flying, take a hayfever tablet and a decongestant…….I suffer with the aircraft air conditioning with sinuses etc and was lucky enough to be sat next to a doctor years ago, he gave me this advice and I do it every time I fly ……….. the difference is incredible 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 It helps with the ear pain on the way down too 😊

I'm only relaxed once I collect the rental car and check in to the first nights hotel. Then I realised that I've booked everything correctly! When you go to Buc-ees, you can go to Daytona beach, although I would recommend New Smyrna Beach a little farther down.....much nicer beach, shops and vibes imho. Take yer water shoes! 😁🇺🇸🏴

Flew air Lingus to Florida for the first time last November..great flight cheap as chips and that new terminal is amazing..on the way flying home there’s a great little bar right down the terminal and it’s very quiet easy to get a drink..looking forward to your new vlogs..👍
