I agree. Whether or not it makes sense that he would actually know that, I think it’s pretty clear that the author intended to give Ron specific knowledge because of Charlie’s involvement with dragons.
@@hufflepomthat’s not really the same thing tho, as Ron having knowledge about dragons from a brother who would’ve been obsessed and talked a lot about dragons. Like Ron would know facts but he obviously wouldn’t know how to deal with a full grown dragon like Charlie does
My theory about Malfoy's behavior: His is spying on Harry to gather information for his dad. Upon hearing of Harry's return to the wizarding world, he tasked his son to spy on Harry, send back any info and Luscious will pass that on to death eaters, look for signs that Voldemort is back, etc.
In retrospect, it's funny that Ron says it's a dog bite in particular--because as far as we know there are only two dogs in the whole school, Fang and Fluffy. And Fang doesn't seem aggressive, so... does she think he was in the forbidden corridor and got bitten by Fluffy?
Re: Ron helping Hagrid feed the dragons… I always understood it to be for Ron’s benefit, because he enjoys it/wants to be around them, especially since Charlie works with them. Like a young child “helping” with chores around the home. The parent isn’t usually benefitted by the child’s involvement. It’s for the child’s sake, whether because they like being a little helper or because they need to learn responsibility.
Maybe because of Charlie, Ron had had some experience or more knowledge of Dragons and would be more adaptive to helping as he may have helped his brother with creatures before while growing up? That was a thought. I wait every Sunday with my coffee and enjoy the chapter. And you bring up questions I've had, but still saying respective to the work. This is so much fun. I'm sure JK Rowling didnt know that her work would be analyzed. I'm sure in later books she was more focused and much more detailed oriented to bring forth the bigger story. I dont think she reasoned it all out in the first book.
Some British verbiage: ‘spot treatment’ would be talking about acne - we call ‘zits’ - ‘spots’. Also no idea why but saying something like “ how they did it they’ll never know” means they can’t believe they managed it/did it, not literally that they forgot or are obtuse lol :)
* The one thing I don't understand is just: * Get the dragon up the hill? no problem. * Keep it quiet? fine. * Get it through the whole castle? easy. * Get it up tons of stairs in the tower? where's the real challenge. * Silently hand it off to people on brooms without issue? aced * Get downstairs, empty-handed? whoops looks like we fumbled that one
I think it makes sense for Hagrid to immediately trust Charlie with the Norbert, it gets established...though later that the two of them became very close friends while Charlie was in school. Which at this point was only 2 years earlier.
@@ThreadBomb possible about the chickens and brandy but considering how upset he was after giving up norbert, I don't thing he wanted to give the dragon up at all.
I feel like if Draco asked the sorting hat to be placed in griffindor in order to spy, the hat would just laugh and put him in slytherin anyway. I don't think you can just choose a house as Harry makes it seem. He was already a potential griffindor, and his choice agaisnt slytherin was based off of his value of strength of character, a very griffindor value.
I feel like Madam Pomfrey's policy is probably the same as actual ER doctors. Which is: "You need to tell me the truth, so that I know how to treat you. I won't be angry at you. I won't tell the cops if you've been doing illegal drugs, etc. But I need to know what really happened so that I can give you the right treatment." Doctor-patient confidentiality
@@austinrestovic Which was him stating they're doing 5th year over, which given how dense they are, no surprise. They need at least that 5th year level to properly graduate Hogwarts.
The big thing I've realized about Madame Pomfrey is that she's bound by confidentiality. This is a school of magic. Even muggle kids get up to shenanigans, wizard kids' shenanigans tend to be somewhat more spectacular because of what they can do. Pomfrey knows simply that her job isn't to get these kids in trouble, it's to get them well again, and while perhaps it would be better to be able to tell Dumbledore or their head of house, for better or worse, she doesn't.
i thought that the reason that Ron knew when dragon breeding was outlawed was because Charlie talked about them so often that Ron had many dragon facts memories and thought that it was common knowledge given that everyone in his family would also know those fact.
Charlie isn't there because he is in Romania and probably couldn't just take a week off work to go to the UK and back. His friends were already in the UK, and traveling to Romania to visit him, so for them it was just a small de-tour rather than a whole separate journey. As for flying up to the castle there is nothing ever mentioned that you can't physically do that before book 6. Harry and Ron can fly in with the car in book 2, in book 3 Hermione says Sirius wouldn't be able to fly in because the dementors would notice him, in book 4 Madama Maximes horses can fly in, and they later discuss the possibility of someone removing Barty Crouch via broom without anyone interjecting it wouldn't be possible. In book 5 Harry and co. can fly out of the castle on the thestrals. But in book 6 they mention how security has gotten much tighter since Voldemort's return was openly acknowledged and the ministry started adding their resources to the protection.
For the whole my madame Pomphery, it does remind me of advice from doctors and other medical professionals about being honest with you doctor or whoever is treating you. Even if it's embarrassing or illegal or you don't want someone like your parents to know.
JK didn’t start writing longer, more detailed books until book 3. I wonder if there was concern that people would lose interest if the first book was too long. some things might not be logical because chapters may have been cut and the plot points had to be placed elsewhere.
With every episode, I´m enjoying this more and more. I just love listening to you guys spitballing ideas and theories. Speaking of which I have one...what if Ron and Ginny were twins too. I think that would bring an interesting twist to the story. Anyway, keep up the great work. Love from Germany.
Re: Charlie with his younger siblings - I have a little brother that is 13 years younger than I am. I thought he was the raddest thing ever when I was growing up. If he would have texted me "sooo.... there's this thing with a dragon" when he was in school I would be like "where and when?" My other brother closer to my age... eh, I don't care.
32:26 In Greek mythology their gods only ate and drank ambrosia (high in sugar) and wine 40:50 Well that depends on how many collections and postings there were... In one if the 'Sherlock Holmes' books (before phones and texting), he writes and posts a letter in the morning saying "I will be around a 6 o'clock to night, and i will be bringging a friend." and it arrives in time on the same day.
So I have a couple thoughts 35:46 being a reptile owner myself, there are things that are common knowledge with reptiles, but my vet even told me there is more educated guesswork involved with their care when compared to your usual house pets, like a cat or a dog, or even rodents or farm animals, so I have to imagine that it runs the same way with “pets” in the wizarding world. Hagrid is a wealth of information, just that some species have less information available 45:22 as a healthcare worker, I have to ask about your personal habits and the nature of injury. I’ve had patients be very reluctant to admit they smoke weed, and I’m always upfront, I can’t tell the cops, and I don’t really care what you do in your personal life, but while you’re in my care, your safety and the quality of your care are my priority, so I need to know the honest truth around the situation that brought you in. If you don’t want to say that’s fine, it just makes your care a little trickier, but at the end of the day, my job is to get you taken care of, and that’s all there is to it, I don’t really need to know any more than that Just my two cents on those two

Chickens and Rats: Where does all the food come from for the feasts? I've always gotten the impression there is more food available than anyone group of kids could ever finish. I don't think that just comes from thin air using elf magic. There are so many example of people cooking and growing food/ingredients. Maybe they can magically make chickens grow faster, but I'm assuming all the blood comes from the chickens used for meals. As for the "rodents", it is a castle, wouldn't be surprised if there was a massive population. Later, crook shanks is noted to be feasting on the rats in the castle.
I have been listening to the podcast and just subscribed here. I love WATCHING too, I really do enjoy the interaction between you guys! I will probably listen in the car and also rewatch here when I am home. I love this idea!
Actually you can be held back a year in uk in exceptional circumstances but the governing body, head of the school & parent/guardian of the child must all agree it is necessary. But it is very rare & only ever happens if the child has totally failed to succeed academically in a specific year.
I know a lot of people like to claim Lucious's love of draco as a redeeming quality of him, but there really are so many red flags that draco doesnt have a good home life in the first book with how obsessed he is with the trio lol.
I think it makes sense that it's Ron who knows when dragon breeding was outlawed, because it's *his* brother who works with dragons not Hermione's, Charlie probably talked his family's ears of about them.
Right? Like it’s so boring to have Hermione know everything because she’s the book smart one, that’s exactly what the movies did when it makes more sense for Ron to know, like I genuinely don’t get how that part is confusing 😭
I know this is beside the point. I just watched Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, and it's an absolutely fantastic movie, it angers me how badly they screwed up 2&3. The only good thing about 2&3 is that Jude Law plays young Dumbledore to perfection.
I feel like you guys have forgotten something important about Ron in particular. His brother Charley works with dragons. Seems like something he would have simply picked up just from Charley. I have always figured that's why he knew so much about dragons.
Regarding the uses of dragon's blood, cleaning solution is probably different from spot remover, when you consider that "spot" is a British expression for pimple or zit.
9:25 That IS a part in a video game! Well old late 90's pc came 'Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone' One half of the chapter, you had to get up to the tower, in your invisibility cloak - which you had to take off to cast spells, at night, avoiding Filtch The second half, you had to make your way back down this time avoiding Filtch and Mrs Norris, destroying vases as distractions making them think it's Peeves
What if Madam Pomfrey is a ligilimens? She doesn't *need* to be told what the cause of a malady is, she just asks the question so that the student will think about the actual answer and she can more easily read their minds.
That would be blessed if you'd take a wheel in creating past backstories. I'd love that! I mean there so much potential in the past stories and in this lore in general. Fantastic Beasts were not the greatest execute of that, but it has potential. I'm sure that Ben and J with such love and engagement to the Wizarding World would make amazing movies and plots!
Can confirm that sneaking past Flich & Mrs Norris up to and down from the astronomy tower is indeed a level in the Philosopher's Stone PC game, even though you're not visibly carrying Nobert and Harry doesn't get caught at any point. Also, 14:32, they *don't* pass their OWLs: when Snape's arguing with Malfoy, he mentions them retaking DADA.
Not to burst any bubbles here, but Draco gets sorted before Harry. He really has no way of knowing which House Harry will be in. I still think it’s a fun idea, just have to invent a plausible explanation for how Draco gets around that problem.
Thank you very much as always on very great podcast. Very entertaining and interesting to listen to you go deep in such details over every chapter. Thank you!
Charlie could have told Ron about the dragons over dinner?? We always underestimate Ron because of how the twins trick him in the train and then he has to compare himself to 2 prodigies who are his best friends There are enough animals that wait for fruit to rot and ferment before consuming it, heck my golden retriever hides raw fruits for days before she retrieves them for a ripe fermented snack
I love how opinions on Hagrid are as divided in real life as they are among the book characters. I think to be a Hagrid fan, you have to really appreciate good intentions apart from actions and outcomes.
26:44 could the crates of rats be explained by Gamp's law? It is technically food (for a dragon) so although they can't be conjured from nothing it could be that one serving of rat can be duplicated up to a full crate? Great pod by the way, it s actually got me to pick up the book again for the first time since I first read it a long time ago now
The absolute trauma and fear i had playing that level and trying to avoid Filtch still scares me to my core. And im almost 30. Definitely a side quest that causes too much anxiety for me.
I feel like Ron knows that breeding and raising a dragon in England would be illegal because of Charlie. Like Charlie would constantly be complaining that he couldn't play with dragons while growing up until he moves to the reserve in Romania. In relation to Madam Pomfrey doesn't disclose the childrens injuries is like along the lines of HIPA laws in real life. Where she can't talk about her patients injuries to people outside the care of their patients.
32:00 in Egyptian mythology Sekhmet (a blood thirsty lion Goddess) was tricked into drinking alcohol dyed red which made her very sleepy and turned her into a cow goddess.
Talking about the cell phone texts and stuff reminds me of the meme where Ross from friends texts Rachel asking if they were on a break and she says no it would be so much more convenient
Hey guys. With love from Ukraine. Great podcast, great video throughout the year, listening to you wile working and then listening to you again with my wife. What do you guys think: since most of the people were afraid to form families and having kids during Voldemorts time, after he “passed” in 1981 (Harry was one), next year there would be a baby boom, so Hogwarts would start having more kids at school starting Harry’s third year and there would be more people who would be not in Slytherin from now on?
In the sixth book, Snape does say that Crabbe and Goyle failed their Defense Against the Dark Arts O.W.L.s, so it seems to me that they're probably passing in some way that is similar to how Harry and Ron pass History of Magic every year, but not the O.W.L. Whether it's Snape or someone else, I'm sure the Slytherins would have no qualms about helping them to get by even if they were awful (probably reflects better on the house as a whole, which would of course interest them all), but then they can't interfere with standardized testing, so of course they failed in that situation. I would assume they didn't only fail DADA that year.
Desert tortoises are reptiles for which, short of a blood test, it takes a couple of years before their sexual dimorphism develops enough to determine sex. Even for kittens, it can take days to weeks to be sure. If similar applies to dragons, Hagrid won’t have had Norbert long enough to get it correct through pure observation.
OMG!! Your imitation of Snape talking to Crade & Goyle was just SPOT ON & HILARIOUS!! 🤣🤣 And in this case, I do think that the movie DOES do a pretty good job at adapting & summarizing this chapter WAY better. So, in the movie (in case you forgot 😉), they get caught because Malfoy sees Norbert (or Norbertta 😉, as we later learn) being hatched IN Hadgrid's hut (with Ron) & then, Dumbledore just gets rid of Norbertta FOR Hagrid by himself off-scene. Also, I LOVE your Dumbledore talking to Madme Pomfrey, too!! Just HILARIOUS, as well!! 😂 And, I also LOVED your Tik-Tok about Sirius!! HILARIOUS, too!! 😂 Also, I would TOTALLY buy that t-shirt!! You should TOTALLY sell that as merch 'cause I would TOTALLY buy that from you!! 😁 Also (just a thought I had), why doesn't Charlie just tell Dumbledore?? Think about it, Ron's his BABY brother & Charlie IS the ADULT in this situation; he should have just done the RESPONSIBLE thing & sent a message DIRECTLY to Dumbledore, saying, "Look, Dumbledore, I'm worried about my baby brother, Ron, & his friends: Hagrid has a dragon & they are planning to have get rid of by themselves at night!! Can you do something about this, please? Before my mother kills ME for not saying anything!!" 😅 Hey, just had another thought, this would also have been a PERFECT scene to involve Newt more (ya know, more than as an author of a school textbook! 🙃) in the main story, too!! Also, maybe spying on Harry & friends IS Malfoy's only hobby!! 😅

Like Ron would know facts but he obviously wouldn’t know how to deal with a full grown dragon like Charlie does
My theory about Malfoy's behavior:
His is spying on Harry to gather information for his dad.
Ron might not have been actually literally helping Hagrid. He could have just been "helping" the way you let a preschooler "help" in the kitchen.
* The one thing I don't understand is just:
* Get the dragon up the hill? no problem.
* Keep it quiet? fine.
* Get it through the whole castle? easy.
* Get it up tons of stairs in the tower? where's the real challenge.
* Silently hand it off to people on brooms without issue? aced
* Get downstairs, empty-handed? whoops looks like we fumbled that one
They forgot the invisibility cloak. How is that humanly possible?
I think it makes sense for Hagrid to immediately trust Charlie with the Norbert, it gets established...though later that the two of them became very close friends while Charlie was in school. Which at this point was only 2 years earlier.
I think it's more likely that Hagrid was tired of slaughtering chickens and spending his life savings on brandy and crates full of rats.
@@ThreadBomband teddies
@@ThreadBomb possible about the chickens and brandy but considering how upset he was after giving up norbert, I don't thing he wanted to give the dragon up at all.
I feel like if Draco asked the sorting hat to be placed in griffindor in order to spy, the hat would just laugh and put him in slytherin anyway. I don't think you can just choose a house as Harry makes it seem. He was already a potential griffindor, and his choice agaisnt slytherin was based off of his value of strength of character, a very griffindor value.
I guess the question is, is Draco a potential Gryffindor?
Harry himself is griffindor, the piece of voldemort is slytherin.
If going back to the Durseleys is so bad, then maybe Hermione was right when she suggested that getting expelled was worse than being killed.
Just maybe
I feel like Madam Pomfrey's policy is probably the same as actual ER doctors. Which is: "You need to tell me the truth, so that I know how to treat you. I won't be angry at you. I won't tell the cops if you've been doing illegal drugs, etc. But I need to know what really happened so that I can give you the right treatment." Doctor-patient confidentiality
Crabbe and Goyle actually have to repeat their 5th year. Snape says as much in book 6.
Only their DAtDA OWLs, or at least that's the only one he mentioned.
@@austinrestovic Which was him stating they're doing 5th year over, which given how dense they are, no surprise. They need at least that 5th year level to properly graduate Hogwarts.
Pretty sure Marcus Flint also had to repeat. He was a 6th year in book 1 and was still quidditch captain in book 3.
@@cubedmelons876 Yep, that's confirmed, though JKR apparently forgot to definitively say it.
Also in one of the books I think it's menioned that one of them almost failed.
I can promise you Ron has heard Charlie talk about the Warlocks Convention constantly for years
i thought that the reason that Ron knew when dragon breeding was outlawed was because Charlie talked about them so often that Ron had many dragon facts memories and thought that it was common knowledge given that everyone in his family would also know those fact.
I think it makes sense for Ron to know about the Warlocks' Convention because Charlie, the dragon guy, might've ranted about it to his family.
I was always surprised that the Wizengamot trial in OotP is basically a popularity contest
i dont think ron being there with hagrid is out of character. hes a caring kid AND he has the most knowledge of dragons
Dumbledore also less famously discovered the one use of Dragon's Milk: getting waaaasted 😎
I’ll be waiting here for the next 40 hours! Can’t wait!! Am loving this series!!
ME TOO ❤️!!!!
The bucket of brandy probably keeps them tame lol. Calms a crazy baby dragon. People used to give baby's alcohol too.
It makes sense that Ron stays behind to help: his brother *works* with dragons - probably knows the most of the three about them
For the whole my madame Pomphery, it does remind me of advice from doctors and other medical professionals about being honest with you doctor or whoever is treating you.
Only 5 chapers left after this one in Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone, then a LOT of chapters after that.
With every episode, I´m enjoying this more and more. I just love listening to you guys spitballing ideas and theories. Speaking of which I have one...what if Ron and Ginny were twins too. I think that would bring an interesting twist to the story. Anyway, keep up the great work. Love from Germany.
Ich liebe diese Podcasts auch liebe Grüße 🖖🏻
Is it not likely that Ron knows this 'dragon fact' because his older brother is... a dragon expert?
Re: Charlie with his younger siblings - I have a little brother that is 13 years younger than I am. I thought he was the raddest thing ever when I was growing up. If he would have texted me "sooo.... there's this thing with a dragon" when he was in school I would be like "where and when?" My other brother closer to my age... eh, I don't care.
32:26 In Greek mythology their gods only ate and drank ambrosia (high in sugar) and wine
40:50 Well that depends on how many collections and postings there were...
In one if the 'Sherlock Holmes' books (before phones and texting), he writes and posts a letter in the morning saying "I will be around a 6 o'clock to night, and i will be bringging a friend." and it arrives in time on the same day.
I eat alone in this big empty building every Sunday all winter and this show has been my companion thank you!!
So I have a couple thoughts
35:46 being a reptile owner myself, there are things that are common knowledge with reptiles, but my vet even told me there is more educated guesswork involved with their care when compared to your usual house pets, like a cat or a dog, or even rodents or farm animals, so I have to imagine that it runs the same way with “pets” in the wizarding world. Hagrid is a wealth of information, just that some species have less information available
45:22 as a healthcare worker, I have to ask about your personal habits and the nature of injury. If you don’t want to say that’s fine, it just makes your care a little trickier, but at the end of the day, my job is to get you taken care of, and that’s all there is to it, I don’t really need to know any more than that
Just my two cents on those two
Heyyyy Brothers!!! You guys are really AMAZING!!!
You guys have no idea just how much your podcasts mean to me.. This has become my new bedtime ritual.. ❤️❤️❤️ I go to bed every night with your chapter podcasts ON, and it makes me feel soo happy and connected.. Makes me feel less lonely.. I'm really grateful from the bottom of my heart ❤️❤️..thank you!! 🙏🏻
I always thought Ron knowing so much about dragons was due to Charlie
When it says 'spot remover', it's probably referring to zits. As we call them spots in the UK.
Also if you want to remove actual spots in fabrics you can't use oven cleaner or viceversa.
I like the idea of Newt going to New York in time of prohibition when half his beasts aquire alcohol. No wonder they created this chaos.
I was hoping that scabbers would have gotten eaten by Norbert lol.
Madame Pomfrey understands Doctor Patient Confidentiality.
Gonna stay up for all 38h till it comes out, love you videos❤
I have been listening to the podcast and just subscribed here. I love WATCHING too, I really do enjoy the interaction between you guys! I will probably listen in the car and also rewatch here when I am home. I love this idea!
I currently have a gorgeous Dragon-scale betta fish named Norbert 😂 I’ve been waiting for this chapter!! 🐉
I'm sorry but the video came 2 hours ago how did you post this comment this thirteen hours ago that's an eleven hour difference
@@Froggygirl86 The video was up as a “scheduled live premiere” about 24 hours ahead of time, and the comment section was open.
In the UK children automatically move up a class every academic year. Another difference between the US and UK.
But it was canonized that redoing years is a thing in Hogwarts. Granted it's because JKR forgot to let Flint graduate, but it's still canon
Remarkable dragon, the Norwegian Ridgeback, innit? Beautiful plumage.
Loving the podcast so far
I thought it was in this book-- maybe it's in Chamber-- but isn't there a line somewhere about Madam Pomfrey, "never asking too many questions?"
I love this! I wish you guys would do more than one chapter a week. I’m obsessed! Keep up the good work guys!
I used to love playing HP 1 and 2 on the computer! Great nostalgic memories!
Hagrid totally kept the chickens alive. He’s just drawing their blood the way that a phlebotomist does for a blood test. lol. 😅
I doubt that. Where do you think all the roast chickens for the feasts come from?
@@conormurphy4328 now you have me thinking about the MASSIVE food budget that the school has!
Regarding the uses of dragon's blood, cleaning solution is probably different from spot remover, when you consider that "spot" is a British expression for pimple or zit.
I think the reason ron knows about the dragons being banned is because his brother deals with them.
Glad to catch one of these live!
9:25 That IS a part in a video game!
Well old late 90's pc came 'Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone'
One half of the chapter, you had to get up to the tower, in your invisibility cloak - which you had to take off to cast spells, at night, avoiding Filtch
The second half, you had to make your way back down this time avoiding Filtch and Mrs Norris, destroying vases as distractions making them think it's Peeves
"I would have died for my friends!"
"Your friends being the Death Eaters?"
*barking laugh*
"Typical Black, eh?"
"That's not..."
The premier was amazing guys! You're legends!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you very much as always on very great podcast. Very entertaining and interesting to listen to you go deep in such details over every chapter. Thank you!
Draco wants to “tell his father about this”😂
Charlie could have told Ron about the dragons over dinner?? We always underestimate Ron because of how the twins trick him in the train and then he has to compare himself to 2 prodigies who are his best friends
There are enough animals that wait for fruit to rot and ferment before consuming it, heck my golden retriever hides raw fruits for days before she retrieves them for a ripe fermented snack
Great pod by the way, it s actually got me to pick up the book again for the first time since I first read it a long time ago now
Aaah you beat me to this theory by 57 ‘mins
The absolute trauma and fear i had playing that level and trying to avoid Filtch still scares me to my core. And im almost 30. Definitely a side quest that causes too much anxiety for me.
Looking forward to it!!! I’m always so excited when I get an update that more content has dropped! Love you guys and I love your shows!!!!
Regarding Crabbe & Goyle, at least one of them had to retake his DADA OWL (Snape mentions it to Draco when Harry was eavedropping).
I can’t wait to get to the later books…
32:00 in Egyptian mythology Sekhmet (a blood thirsty lion Goddess) was tricked into drinking alcohol dyed red which made her very sleepy and turned her into a cow goddess.
The dragon artwork reminds me of Smaug from the Hobbit book. It feels like a typical european/british children book dragon style
Talking about the cell phone texts and stuff reminds me of the meme where Ross from friends texts Rachel asking if they were on a break and she says no it would be so much more convenient
21:00 I’d rather have a shirt that just says “Foast.”
If you know you know
Oh no! I've finally caught up and now I have to WAIT for the next episode, how awful 😅😂😂
when people used to use self windup pocket watches that would be out of sync with each others time, they used to arrive 15mins early for appointments.
The picture makes me think of a flying crocodile or alligator. It's the head, so definitely a crocodile or alligator on a dragon body.
Me too.
In my head cannon, Hagrid’s umbrella wand is actually a baby dragon in disguise.
It makes sense for when Hagrid casts Incendio too…
In the sixth book, Snape does say that Crabbe and Goyle failed their Defense Against the Dark Arts O.W.L.s, so it seems to me that they're probably passing in some way that is similar to how Harry and Ron pass History of Magic every year, but not the O.W.L.
Love these guys! You're the Best 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Thing with Draco going into Gryffindor to possibly rally behind Harry being complicated is that Draco is sorted before Harry
