I enjoy watching your videos very much. What I love the most (besides your very informative commentary full of tips) is the google earth 3D view. Amazing man. I owe you a beer
Pretty cool that you can look down and see Angels Landing. The dirt roads look interesting. I will have to read about it on your webpage. Thanks again.
I hiked that back in the fall of 2017! This video brings back nice memories 😊 - thanks for sharing! Back then we had to book a 1 hr shuttle ride from the visitor center parking lot to the East Mesa trailhead, hiked to Observation Point and continued all the way down to Weeping Rock. It was awesome, and a lot easier than hiking up 😅. Too bad the 2019 rock slide closed that trail. It was absolutely beautiful ALL the way down - kind of like hiking down Bright Angels or South Kaibab trails at Grand Canyon.
Glad you got to check it out before the rockslide. I did it a few times from Weeping Rock too but did the up & down. It was a tough one. According to a few rangers I chated with, they have no plans to reopen it. Trail work too extensive and landscape too volatile.
Best hike in Zion. From valley. Angels Landing is dwarfed below. For the hiking guy and you. Drive up to second tunnel. Stop pull off. 2 spots only. Get out of your car walk across the road. Go down through culvert/tunnel back under road into the creek. Turn right in creek then left and follow it around to the other side. Walk up to opposite side of tunnel. Cross road. Walk up the sidewalk (a very smooth long stretch of rock to the the top. Climb up (easy way) walk out to stand on top of said tunnel. Bam, look around. Your welcome.
These Zion videos couldn’t have come at a better time. After watching your Rim to Rim video about a year ago, we booked the Grand Canyon to attempt the hike. We are however camping at the river. After leaving the Grand Canyon, we thought of visiting Zion or Bryce. Can you recommend any accommodations? Have you hiked Angel’s Landing? Thanks for the videos!!!!!
That's a great combo. Angel's Landing is okay - check out the Scout Lookout guide I have up - if you don't have a permit or just want to skip the sketchy parts, Scout Landing is the move - and I usually stay in the Best Western at Zion, nice clean rooms and right by the park entrance - have fun!

Planning on doing this trail in October. Thanks for the preview.
Very nice! It's been almost 30 years since I've hiked this. Great spot!
Looking forward to this experience this October!
Another new video always watching and supporting no skip on adds

I hiked this trail in 2021. So beautiful! thanks for sharing!
Awesome work - thank you
Enjoyed your video! I live close to Zion's, so it is one of my favorite locations to visit and create videos.

Amazing video and saw your website, thanks for the clear explanation! However, how long will the hike take you in total?
Thank you! & 3 hours

Great place do you know if Can mi motorcycle in This trail ? How far can i drive ? It is permited?
Thank you for your videos 👍👍👍
Absolutely not, you’re only allowed to drive on the paved roads. It’s a national park and the ecosystem is very delicate.
As of October 2024 can you start the hike from the park?
The route from the valley is still closed, this route is still open, but check the park website for up to date info
One day I’m going to propose to my girlfriend there
I thought the East Rim trail to Observation Point been closed since 2019 due to rockfalls.
not from the top as described in this guide
