  • Hola!
    Spain may be better known for sunshine and siestas, but it actually is also home to the tallest and fastest roller coaster in Europe, and the 3rd tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world!
    These scream machines have been providing thrills for years, but recently, there have been a couple of new roller coasters that have appeared that have really shaken things up!
    With that in mind, here is my count down of the very best, most thrilling, most extreme and most amazing roller coasters all throughout Spain. In this list are offerings from Intamin, B&M, Vekoma and more! where will Red Force, Shambhala, Batman Gotham City Escape and Dragon Khan fall in this list? Watch and find out!

    I think the top 3 make complete sense although I was surprised that 1 and 2 were flipped from what I expected. With Fury in my home park, I consider it B&M best coaster. I haven't ridden anything in Spain so I'm just using my past experience with all the B&M Hyper I've been on as well as the modern day Intamins. Great list overall!

    Must've ridden Shambhala in every row by now and it's an absolute beast of a coaster
    Not to mention Red-Force, which just seems to keep accelerating and accelerating over and over

      @@alantrotter2077 I agree. I was more meaning coasters 1 and 2 should be in the top 2 spots from where I think they'd be ranked. I can understand it though. If you think of a better Mako, should be a great ride. Also note, he said best B&M Hyper and could well prefer Fury 325 over it. I dont actually remember what he thinks of Fury 325, but best way to find out is to ride it with him!

      @@alantrotter2077 Mako is mine too. Goliath is the only USA B&M Hyper I'm missing, but will get it this round hopefully. I'm not too sure what my second will be. Maybe Diamond Back when it runs well.

      @alantrotter2077 Год назад +1

      @@marty_nz Diamondback is 4th. Great layout but too much of a rattle. I put Candymonium over it. Ranking is as follows: 1. Mako 2. Goliath 3. Candymonium 4. Diamondback 5. Intrimidator 6. Apollo's Chariot 7. Raging Bull 8. Nitro yep I said it Nitro is LAST

    Top 3 is Ferrari Red Force.

      It's just not that great a coaster, I'm not a huge fan of sky loops as they're just uncomfortable. The airtime hill on it is fun, but it's just not that good a ride in my opinion. Tornado and tarantula are better.

      @RollercoasterDavid  Год назад +1

      @@olivitaspochasTV I just don't find it a very comfortable or enjoyable coaster, the airtime hill is the only good bit. As you said, each to their own though!

      @@olivitaspochasTV stampida has two tracks with a mix of airtime and laterals, it's the only racing coaster in Spain, the retracked sections ride well and I like the head to head section.

    Sorry for the double comment but I'm curious if you've ever been in my neck of the woods. Darien Lake would be the biggest park closest to where I live which is a little under 25 minutes away from my home. My uncle used to own a theme park called Martin's Fantasy Island, but that's a tiny, family oriented park, so I doubt you've ever even heard of that place.

    • @RollercoasterDavid
      @RollercoasterDavid  Год назад

      I've been to Darien lake twice, once in 2016 and again in 2019. On the 2019 trip I think we visited your uncles park, but it was just called fantasy Island then with no reference to Martin! It's the park with silver comet, right?

    I’ve not yet ridden a giant inverted boomerang but I’ve ridden the standard and will ride the regular inverted boomerang tomorrow at kings island for the 1st time. Curious: how does this giant inverted boomerang compare to the one at Silverwood? Shambhala isn’t the coaster closet to bring a giga as it only has a 256’ drop. Hyperion has a 269’ drop and reaches speeds of 88MPH. But I would agree that Shabhala is Spain’s best coaster. Thanks for posing!

    • @RollercoasterDavid
      @RollercoasterDavid  Год назад +1

      I can't really comment on that as I've never been to silverwood. From what I've heard though, I think the consensus is that the one in Spain is much better, the silverwood one has added seat belts and poor operations

    • @Paolo8772
      @Paolo8772 Год назад

      @@RollercoasterDavid that’s news to me; I was told the giant inverted boomerang at Silverwood was the smoothest, at least in North America, because every American enthusiast thinks it’s the best giant inverted boomerang they’ve ever ridden by a large margin. But you’ve admitted to not being able to judge since you’ve never yet ridden it. That seems reasonable.

    • @Paolo8772
      @Paolo8772 Год назад

      Fair enough. Consider that I hear the one at Silverwood is much worse than the one at SFNE though.
