I rode it over the last 2 days and am happy to report that I didn't get any shakey rides. Maybe I got lucky or perhaps they've fixed the faulty trains. Either way, I was a big fan of the ride!
Train 5 on Voltron is the "rattle train" as I'd like to call it. It has different running wheels than all of the other trains. Other than in Train 5 I never experienced anything worse than a minimal vibration, even in the bacl outer seats.
Caus op talks bs. It has to do with the extended rods on which the outer seats are attached. To do this, the entire train would have to be taken apart. Although you can adjust a little here and there, this will not improve the driving experience. This is a design flaw that, in my opinion, requires large parts of the trains to be replaced.@@RollercoasterDavid
I had 4 rides on Voltron - and I loooooooooove it ! The launches are so powerful ! The backwards launch ripped my head of…almost… The surrounding buildings are nice but I thought they should have built it closer to Italy because of the Venetian influence…
New to the channel as was looking for voltron thoughts and was blown away by this reviews organisation, structure, unbiasedness and detail. Excellent work you earned a sub
Changes are still being made so that the coaster runs softer. Personally, I like coaster where I have to work and I feel the ride. I think Voltron is an outstanding roller coaster⚡and I love it extremely👌Thanks for this great video👍
I don’t know if this is confirmed, but from what I’ve heard, the pre show track (or as Mack Rides call it “the Effect Track”) is meant to act as a scale, weighing the train to determine how much energy and power is needed to launch the train up the inverted top hat.
I've read it many times in comments, however comments are not the best source. I am half-believing it, because it makes sense, but until I find a source that is more likely to be correct, I am cautious about spreading this by myself.
You nailed it. I rode it two weeks ago, and unfortunately my middle seat on row 3 was extremely uncomfortable. It is an intense ride, and one of the best stalls around, and those launches do pack a punch. I’d love to ride it again, but maybe when we know it’s had some TLC.
Nice review! I like the fact that you pointed Mack's history of showcasing rides at Europa. I agree with your point about the outer seats on the big dipper and I would imagine that could be an issue with this coaster. How was the pacing with the ride? On-ride POV's it looks great. Off ride it looks a little hit or miss. Regardless of the nit-picking Europa has a hit on their hands with this one, I think. Looking forward to riding it in July.
Fun fact: the second launch on Voltron is actually a block zone, if the ride gets stuck it can be used as a swing launch, boosting the train back into the layout!
I am happy rimac sponsored this since rimac is also about acceleration, also Rimac is from Croatia, fits the package tesla is just to generic and to boring for a ride like this
@@RollercoasterDavid Koenigsegg is probably who you was thinking of. They are practically the Petrol Version of Rimac-Buggati since they got bought by VW in 2023 or Early 2024.
Mack admitted that two of the trains didn't have the 'complete suspension' installed. They are the skaky ones apparently. I'm very surprised they didn't just run it at lower capacity rather than give so many riders mixed reviews
@@RollercoasterDavid yeah I saw a lot of smooth onrides too and some shaky as hell... A friend that works in the park told me, that two trains came just some days before opening, because they had some production chain problems for parts of the train... But yeah it seems there is a big difference between the trains

Why don't they change the wheels then? Surely if the solution is that simple then why not fix it

That was a fantastic, unbiased, and very well structured review.
Thank you! That's what I try and aim for with all my videos!

Thanks! Welcome to the channel!
Looks like one of the best coasters ever!

12:01: "...or changing from hexagonal to round wheels would help." :D
Looks good. Hexagonal wheel replacement sounds like a great idea. Round should work better.
Not just round, but get this... Circular

If you're right that's so cool
That would make sense, it's a clever idea!
I've read the same

Try and get the front middle row if you can
Another outstanding video. Keep it up.
Thanks!

I thought the pacing was great! The new Stryker trains look like they have additional bracing compared to the big dipper ones.

Smiler: you're just a cheap fucking knock-off
Voltron: No, I'm the upgrade...
By the way, Rimac sponsored this, as they are a Croatian car brand with the fastest electric car one can buy
For some reason I thought they were Scandinavian!
I rode it a few days ago. Got a rattling seat in the last row far left. It wasn’t fun at all. I didn’t ride it again.
Actually Rimac is just the right partner because its a Croatian company 😉

Maybe an unpopular opinion but:
Helix was a better roller coaster when it opened compared to Voltron today.
I don't recall there being any issues with the helix trains, but it has the advantage of not being a prototype model
This rides looks like a total package to me. Perhaps except for a big drop I guess. Theming, launch, airtime, hangtime, whippy transitions
Mackprodukt 👍🏻
Schiene toll gebogen!
I'm a lover of hard roller coasters💪Soft roller coasters are for grandma and grandpa💤 but not for me😉 Voltron is terrific and absolutely world class👌

Interesting, where did they admit that, do you have a link?

Oh my god, I absolutely must ride this!!!
Do it!
Yes - do it !
There’s this RUclipsr who does that in his own backyard!!
I don't know what you mean
