MIUI 14 global is virtually identical to MIUI 13... I updated my Xiaomi 12 and initially thought that the update failed since there was no change at all except for the large folders...

Ive just recently got an update on my redmi note 12 pro plus. my phone already updated to miui14 but it remained on android 12 until recently I got an update notification and it was updated to android 13. not much has changed other than some minor design changes like the camera app icon and the notification bubble (the numbers you get on an app are slightly a different font)
All in all a "minor" update visually but I do feel that my phone is a lot smoother in terms of it's performance
Seems like you explaining MIUI 13 features. Already I have some of them.
Actually Miui 14 is a big disappointment for Global users and some features missing on my Redmi note 10s😠

MIUI 14 is amazing!
The recent apps tab can also be changed to scroll horizontally. I use it that way. Mi 11 Lite 5G NE
HI. quick question I'm getting insane searching for a solution to this problem.
I have a Redmi note 11 pro 5g and a TWS Earphones 2 in MIUI13 when I connect the TWSs I see the MIUI pop-up window with the battery percentage in both earphones and the case. now in MIUI14 global I don't see this. this is one of the most important features I use daily. How can I turn It back on. I'm willing to root or change to the chinnese version of the ROM if necessary.

Now there is no more 'close screen while listening features'. Very sad for me as that is the most useful for me. Probably youtube has paid them to throw away that feature or something
With hyperOS now replacing miui14 will the youtube audio playback with screen locked feature still be in place???

Thanks for the update, I like the features! I have a mi 10 pro global here in the states and want to upgrade but I'm scared to purchase another 1k phone because the one I have drops calls every 5 minutes since the MIUI 13 update. I can't access the internet while I'm on the phone. Does anyone else have this problem with the global and should I have to upgrade? It's a fairly new phone and I love it but this is a huge problem every time there's a system upgrade I get scared. Apple is known to do this to their customers in order to purchase another phone

My Redmi Note 9 Pro just received MIUI 14 3 days ago. Yeah, I kept hearing about the super icons and wallpapers and so forth while hearing no mentions of it currently being a China exclusive feature. Oh well, I've never experienced performance concerns or gosh knows what, and I've only had a few bugs at most in the past 3 years, so I suppose it's alright?
@Zendex lite pro max where u from? just change the region to other country, singapore or new Zealand etc, then you will receive the miui 14 right there, done install the update then change back your region
how does the note 9 get the update but not the note 11
My note 11 pro got it too, i'm located in the Netherlands.
@@zendexlite69Global is the last to get any updates so expect it at least 6 months after the initial release.
I'm using the global 11T Pro and still haven't got the MiUI 14 based on Android 13 update even though it was released in China early this January.

Tha playing video while lock is the most important feature in the world for me.
Looks like there isn't much to these updates..sometimes battery life takes a hit, or there's some new bugs, or useful features are removed..split screen multi tasking got replaced with floating windows in older xiaomi devices, and the cool animations disappeared too

This feature is from Mi Launcher, Poco phones have Poco Launcher which doesn't have this function yet.

I had ads with my Xiaomi 11t (global) whenever I used Thier services
But you can turn them off in settings and delete most apps by Xiaomi to avoid them

for my miui 14 experience on the redmi pad and redmi note 10 pro (max) is quite good so far so good it's much better than miui 13 with android 12

The only worth using is the folder organizer icon in the home screen. Anything else are mediocre at best and already existing features of 13. I wonder how 14 performs with Android Auto. Because they sucks bigtime in that area.

I have a Mi 11T Pro and I haven't received any updates from Xiaomi Itself, there are these Indian RUclipsrs telling the viewers to download the MIUI 14 from the google and I can't seem to trust any of them. Do any of you got the same problem? I just want to update my phone, I haven't received any software updates for more than 5 months

@GSMArena: it's quite unfortunate that Xiaomi will undermine some useful features in their MIUI updates e.g. Split Screen with the home button.
It's essential and XIAOMI must have to restore it whichever way.
You can do it tho. Just go to settings and search button shortcuts.

Miui 14 had a bug like the volume automatically goes up and down. The camera opens by itself and taking a video itself also. A big big NO.
