The Chargers beat two teams with a winning record all season (Broncos and Bengals) and got crushed by good teams (Ravens, Bucs, Steelers, etc). They weren't supposed to be a playoff team this year but played above their roster talent. I look forward to seeing them after another Harbaugh offseason and not get too down about this one.
What a tough loss. It was a bad overall game by the ENTIRE offense. I know lots of us are hurt but guys this was a rebuilding year and we went 11-7 and made the playoffs. Texans were the better prepared team. They had 168 yards rushing(107 from the RB), 6 WRs over 20 yards, and a defense that had 11 QB hits, 5 tackles for a loss, and 4 sacks. Texans plan was simple and effective. They let ladd get his because they knew he was gonna get his yards regardless and just bracketed all the other WRs. They clogged the box so herbert couldnt have any running lanes or time to throw. Basically said " you have an elite QB, 1 elite WR and no run game. Try and beat us with 2 players" This team will be fine and much improved going forward. Just need to get herbie an elite TE, WRs, and an interior OLine. As always : BOLT UP 💛💙💛💙💛💙⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️💛💙💛💙💛💙 Love this team and justin herbert is my QB and i will ride and die with him. See you all next year!.
Welp this team looked like they need more practice to me. Hard to think the limited time the city mandated wasn't good. They should have packed it up and flown out to Huston early. But hell i dont know. Credit to Huston for playing well and on point.
Herbert needs to get out of his shell, dude needs to be more vocal and proves his leadership and emotions. Literally can change the way the team plays if he shows some excitement or competitiveness. If Rivers was in the game last night, it woulda been an embarrassment for the Texans
Obviously QJ will be on the team because of his rookie contract, but one thing Jim harbaugh preaches is consistency. One would have to think they take a WR in the mid rounds in April and possibly start slowly phasing him out. time to Fire up those mock drafts.
About the “Stroud made it work” thing.. Stroud also had a running game in this one. Herbert had his worst game in his career imo. But he didn’t get much help from anyone not named Ladd.
Sooooo much turnover needed on this roster. No palmer. No fulton. Tuli needs to step tf up. Cut bosa to save cap. Trade or sign for a clear alpha number 1 receiver. And go from there. Emphasis this offseason NEEDS to be on skill position with solidifying the interior lines
@@JohnLee-ud2gmSTOP the excuses ! we can love herb , fine , but he was AWFUL . I’m done defending him. He’s over paid at this point … stroud found a way to make if work without tank dell and diggs .
@@vileproductions8511 Stroud made it work.. WITH a run game. With better weapons as well. Collins and Ladd are a scratch. Shultz > Dissly. Meechie > QJ. Woods > Chark. OL also played like sh*t. Herbert played awful and that’s not going to be argued, but let’s not act like Stroud didn’t have a ton more help than Justin did.

Make it 3 teams above .500 though with the falcons. Just saying
It blows my mind why they didn’t have any designed runs setup for Herbert today. The last 3 games of the season he was running wild. Greg Roman sucks
You know what’s even funnier the Texans lead the league in most yards given up to quarterbacks on the ground. Genuinely the worst OC I’ve ever seen.
Exactly....horrible play calling by roman and Herbert got outplayed by a youngster ...but mostly on Roman
You guys are legends!
Team needs=Interior line help, receiver help, tight end & running back help & some defensive pieces. I'm looking up from here
Molden should make a full recovery. His injury was a bone injury which generally heals 100 percent, unlike ligaments, muscles, and knees

Well said. We need a few offensive weapons.I love Herbert also, but he played poorly.

He’s already been doing this, Jesus.
Concerning ASJ,a typical shoulder recovery is 6 months.
We need a TE and WR bad!
Where the hell is Stone Smart?
Jim all but said that QJ should have ran to the sticks on that 4th down.
need to cut a lot of the aging vets on this team .. there just not good enough .

Herbert struggles to come through when it matters in the regular season and the playoffs. I’ve just about seen enough
A team that came in preaching toughness and running game can't run the ball.
herbert should restructure his contract until he proves he can beat good teams and win in the playoffs. He’s over paid at this point .

LADD MCCONKEY!
Herbert choked hard ain’t no other way around it
When you only have one decent receiver to throw to it makes it tough.

Too many miscues
Goodbye Christian Fulton. Terrible.
“Much less talented” …lol
