I have more respect for this group than anyone after the thundersteel album, sign of the crimson storm (wink wink( I named my first bass guitar thunderstring I gave it to TRAVIS from Seattle when he came to Florence al,he was a speed thrash guitarist. I never did know his last name. Back in 1996. Just as good as stryper and helloween.

Is this a Christian band? Either way I love listening to riot v just for the music. But I'm new to them only been listening for a couple weeks now. But this song I like so much, the lyrics and the sound are amazing.

Kiki it doesn't have to be about Christian messiah. Many cultures and civilizations believed in some kind of 'messiah' coming back to save them, long before the Christ.
The thorny crown makes it a clear reference to the Christian messiah
and if during the 80's they had satanic image or covers with skulls e.t.c., they would have been more successfull.But for those who know of real music they will be always great and one of the tops

Engraçado é tu falar isso de uma banda que literalmente foi um dos maiores precursores desse tipo de som. O Riot é o original, logo, quando tu diz que ouviu isso um monte de vezes (em outras bandas) significa que vc ouviu as cópias, não o original. Riot é uma banda de 1977...desde o debut a banda faz esse tipo de som, cara. Embora antes tivesse uma pegada mais Hard Rock ...mas, veja bem, essa tua frase é absurda...pq tu dá a entender que o Riot faz som genérico, quando na verdade o Riot é que foi uma das bandas que inventou esse tipo de som.
