Erhan Papila Gamma Ray has almost 30 years Historrraaayy. Old Helloween was created by Kai Hansen. That's why Gamma Ray more important then new Helloween. IMHO. I like Hansen music and voice. And about new Helloween I can't say the same.
People might kill me for this, but I actually like Deris's voice better than Kiske's and Hansen's. I don't know why. I think it's because Michael always sounded like Rob Halford to me, and I don't particularly like Halford's voice. Straight Out of Hell was the first Helloween album I ever listened to, and I honestly like it more than Keeper of the Seven Keys. I'm preparing for horrible backlash right now, but It's just my opinion.
not really... that vibe can't be replicated, guitar tones are differnet, riff style it's different, technology has a lot to do with it, as well the experience they gained over the years and styles they developed... the song is amazing, but not to be compared in terms of sound or vibe to the keepers... and no im not saying the songs it's not as good... it's different

Mainly kai's but I can tell weiki and Andi added bits as it sounds mainly like it could have been a gamma ray track and I like it sounding like a gamma ray production as Dani lobles drums sound good and consistant instead of his drums sounding all over the place from track to track or in the case of the keepers legacy album and gambling with the devil like ingo's keepers one drum sound gone wrong

First time I listen to Helloween was 1996. I was 12 years old. The Time of the Oath was my first album and it opened the doors for me to my favorite band of all time. I won't forget the first time I heard Walls of Jericho, Master of The Rings, The Keepers, Pink Bubbles, and then see masterpieces being released like Better than Raw. I remember how I was nervous when I shaked hands wih Andi and Weiki back in 2001 when they were at a Rock Gallery in São Paulo signing disc covers, magazines, etc...I still have my entire collection from walls to The Dark ride signed . 21 years later here I am, waiting for what's probably a dream I thought would never come true. Andi, Michi and Kai singing together, having a blast. Can't wait to see you guys here!
