Been on this sight more times than I can remember . Back then the caravan club ran it , site now looks well transformed from what it was originally like back in the 80s. Shame it's very expensive now to use .😊
Thanks for watching Ian and it is a lovely spot for a site but you’re right re cost - not too bad off season but July / August was a lot!! The refurb has done a great job 😀🚌
Can’t believe having just brought our first motor home last Yesterday , Iam now subscribed to your channel again , so Iam now catching up on all your videos, we still have our Merry fisher 795
Fantastic Melvyn and you definitely have the best of both worlds !! Many thanks for subscribing and we hope you enjoy the catch up 😁👍. What did you get - there are soooo many out there!!
Fantastic van that Melvyn - congrats on joining the moho world - it really is great fun - just need a rib or something on the back as the 895 was a bit big to trailer !! But now we've got Peggy the scoot on the back !! :)
If you're heading up to Kirkstone Pass on foot, I'd suggest going up the A592 via Rayrigg Road (from the roundabout in Bowness-on-Windermere,) rather than travelling to Ambleside to go via 'The Struggle' (It's called 'The Struggle' for a reason!) That way, if you're at the Kirkstone Pass Inn, you can catch the bus that comes back from Glenridding, all the way to Windermere village on the way back.
Hi to you both. can’t believe how much walking you both do. Haven’t put the motorhome plaque on the wall yet, as we have stripped our kitchen and lounge. So we have a month without a kitchen, it’s a nightmare. We will have to sleep in the motorhome if it gets bad. Hope you’re both well. All the best.
Morning Wiggy and thank you as always for your kind words. As long as you can find the moho keys in all that chaos then you can escape!! You'll enjoy the finished result :))
@@motorhomingadventures glad to see you’re out and about. I sent Nicky two pictures of what’s going on in our house. No kitchen for seven weeks. And no three-piece suite until the end of June. I think we should live in the motor gnome.

"located very close to the river"! Which river would that be then? (or perhaps you meant to say "to the lake".)
😂 is there a lake there? I’ll put it down to walking delirium Dave 😁😁🚌
