Great video! Mangos are always a good choice. Except when you eat too many and can’t find a toilet. 😋

That didn't happen but I will have that in mind for the future cause that would have been really inconvenient up there.

I thought for a second Dave was about to call it a BFK when he tied the knot. Not sure if he just caught himself in time or if that's not such a universal term for that sort of knot.

    Great vid.
Just curious, would it not be best to tie ends of rope into a carabiner? So you if you need to I. An emergency you don’t have to untie a figure 8, which may be in tension.
As also a yachtsman, your tether always has a carabiner both ends.

    • @_e5598

@@theseb1979 ah, rough head math. Regardless, you get the point. The "collectible" mountains here are anything 14k ft + (4267 m). I always just think it's interesting to consider what your current elevation is like elsewhere. In CO we have a few resorts w lift access over 13k.

Like your videos. Quite informative, thank you. Please consider no exotic food. Quite bad for the environment and nature… what you on the other hand obviously love. 💕.. Get to the local food market and get some winter apples or other dry food. This supports the local people and helps reduce your environmental footprint. Thank you! Cheers

Thanks for the kind words and constructive feedback. I think about such things too. The one thing your comment made me think was. What is the sum total good/bad who needs the money more the Ecological farmer some where by the equator or a French apple farmer? I just don’t know how to ever balance ⚖️social good and environmental good / bad. Have a good one 😀

If you don't and can't tele, you shouldn't teach mountaineering or anything for that matter
